Luxurious accommodations, various onsite facilities and a truly unforgettable location with 20 acres of beautiful Devon countryside on your doorstep are just a few things that make Dartmoor View one of the best retreats in the UK.

Located close to Dartmoor National Park and the vibrant city of Exeter, Dartmoor View is a wonderful place to explore the beautiful countryside.

Dartmoor View is equipped with an outdoor swimming pool and a children’s play area, making it a perfect place for families. The site also has a games room to keep you entertained. The holiday park lies close to numerous villages bursting with quaint shops and traditional English pubs.

You'll find a wide variety of accommodations to suit different budgets. Most caravans are contemporary style with some having private tubs. We especially love the Platinum Caravan Four Plus VIP, which sleeps 4, with one master bedroom and one open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area.

The outside decking comes with a private hot tub and beautiful countryside views, perfect for relaxing.  We also love the Country Pod VIP is a luxurious studio with one double and additional sleeping for two in the lounge. The deck has garden furniture perfect for outdoor entertainment with a hot tub.

The local area has gardens and countryside to explore and is a haven for nature lovers. There are various walking and hiking routes suitable for everyone. In addition there are centres for activities like Dartmoor Gliding Society, White Water rafting, Riding schools and Dartrock climbing centre, all perfect for enjoyable days out.

The gorgeous countryside and multiple local attractions just a few miles away, makes Dartmoor View the ideal woodland retreat!

Dartmoor View Reviews

"All the things in the caravan were lovely and what we were expecting to be like, only thing that let it down a tiny bit was that there was no hairdryer for us women to dry our hair with (thats just a small picky comment that didnt effect the overall stay at all just a thing to think about moving forward?)."

Ahmet - Feb 2024
"Stayed here for a 2nd time, this time disappointing.Constant "hum" from the caravan - it was not the hot tub. Looked at fridge - after turning off "hum" became quieter however the noise appeared to be coming from somewhere else, it would stop intermittently and then would "hum" again for hours. Upon arrival there were crumbs left on worktop, some of the cutlery and utensils hadn't been cleaned properly and in the twin single bedroom some of the pillows were dirty. The furniture is very "tired" and threadbare and there was black mould on bottom of net curtains.2 large biffa waste bins pushed up against the back of the caravan."
Verified Guest - Feb 2024
"The bed was initially a little too firm but I got used to it, my partner not so much. Overall it was very comfortable"
Peter - Feb 2024
"Wonderful peaceful site with beautiful views of dartmoor. Accommodation spotless and had everything we needed. Hot tub was lovely and hot and checked daily. Very relaxing holiday. ????"
Tracy - Jan 2024
"My fiance and I stayed at the ledge for 4 nights for her birthday. The lodge is lovely and fairly private thanks to the long hedge row and bushes to one side and the back. The lodge is lovely and spacious. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of storage space, the kitchen is large and has pretty much everything you need including a dishwasher, washing machine, freezer and 2 fridges! WiFi had great signal which is common in these places in my experience. The bathrooms were large and well appointed. My only criticism which for most will be irrelevant, was not being able to use the gas fire in the living room. But it didnt ruin our stay but would have been ideal as it was super cold during our stay and the living area is a big space to heat for two radiators. But from a safety aspect, I can understand why we couldnt use. Finally.. the hot tub.. big enough for 4 adults with ease. Places to put drinks, multi coloured lighting and adjustable temperature. It was perfect! And it wasnt too far from the doors of the lodge so you dont freeze on the way back in! The patio furniture was a bonus and the decking is large. The privacy screen to one side of the hot tub was a bonus too. Thank you for having us! Well be back for sure!"
Matt - Jan 2024
"We arrived for a short break and was immediately met with wind that shook this caravan quite violently the whole time we were there. We also experienced a power cut which again we were given a torch and a gas lighter.Fridge and everything else including hot tub not working due to this. The mattress on the bed had seen better days.I came away for a quiet break but the cross winds were horrendous."
Verified Guest - Jan 2024
"The accommodation was absolutely beautiful, in a really peaceful and tranquil location, it was so lovely to sit back and relax in peace and quiet over the festive season, I will definitely be returning, if u are looking for peace and quiet and tranquility this is the perfect location"

Verified Guest - Dec 2023
"we had an amazing stay and the lodge and the hot tub were superb, we had a chilled break and the site was nice and quiet, the staff are really helpful and even though it was cold out side the cabin was toasty. We stayed for 4 nights the accommodation seemed very new with all the accessories we could need, thoroughly recommend this as a break, did i say i loved the hot tub, sat in a hot tub drinking a beer in the snow what could be better."
