"The accommodation could have more cutlery and crockery also could include some basic essentials such as dishwasher tablets or washing up liquid. And the hot tub was a good temperature with the ability to control this and was tested daily to ensure our safety and comfort.The accommodation at Piran Meadows was advertised to sleep 6 - with 6 people booked - the dining table only had 4 seats!!! The television has limited channels and the DVD Player provided had the ability to be connected to the TV removed! It would be nice to have the screening ability that the tv provides unlock to offer more flexibility!"

"Caravan very nice and spacious although showing its age now. (We stayed in these a few yrs ago when they were new) and theyre now a few yrs old I think. Caravan clean prior to our arrival was not very thorough (cobwebs, litter under the sofa, cooking utensils dirty, black mould spots in en-suite bathroom) all very minor but we dealt with this ourselves and did not complain as there was a vacuum in the caravan and washing up equipment supplied so it was an easy fix.Nice little welcome pack in the caravan on arrival with DW tablets, washing up liquid and scrubber and bin bags."

"Caravan cleanliness wasn't to the highest standard. Dirty glass found in wardrobe, crockery left in dishwasher and the lounge floor dirty (including dog biscuits on the floor under armchair) The en suite shower wouldn't drain so couldn't use that but we did have a second shower which was very powerful and spacious. Hot tub worn and rather old looking but did the job and was lovely to relax in watching the evenings go by. Overall a comfortable stay, spacious caravan with everything you need."

"Lovely place to stay, caravan was lovely and clean would give 10/10 to stay in, staff was lovely and polite and would help you if needed. The only thing I would suggest is to have more play areas for children like swings slides ect as there was not much activity for young ones to entertain outside. Always pre book the restaurant as we got turned away because we didn’t book a table and they told us we had to get the takeaway option and go back to the caravan to eat it. They wouldn’t let us eat it at the table we were sat on. Although it’s a family resort the bar called last orders most days at 21.30. So maybe extend it."

"Fantastic time at piran meadows, clean van, towels and baths miniatures plus washing up and tea packages which was a very unexpected welcome touch. Early check in phone call from staff member once van had been cleaned so an absolute bonus. Staff helpful, professional and when we had a problem with our fridge they sent someone to look at straight away to fix it. Facilities clean and very well laid out. Kids loved the Astro/pool/splash pool, pool tables. Only gripe was availability of the bar/food being open for longer in peak times but overall a fantastic stay central to everything. Would highly recommend."

"We stayed in a Wadebridge 2 carvan and it exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness, size and facilities. Little extras such as washing up items, shower items etc.. were a lovely touch. Park was in a great location and I was able to easily access local beaches and towns by car. Staff were really friendly and helpful and always had a smile on their face. Pool was basic but great on rainy days and being able to use the sauna / steam room was great. The site is quieter than others but that is what I was looking for on this particular holiday so a thumbs up from us. We had a lovely week."

Springfields Fun Park & Pony Centre - PL15 8EU

about 1 Mile

Springfields Fun Park & Pony Centre offers a day full of action and adventure for all the family come rain or shine. If the weather is good then children can take advantage of the vast open space to run around and play, enjoy pony rides, train rides, trampolines and Go-Karts and explore the nature trails. If the weather is not on your side then the huge play barn is the place to head and as climbing frames, slides, ball pool and rope swings as well as a baby and toddler area.

Dairyland Farm World - TR8 5AA

about 2 Miles

Open from end March to end October this is a lovely attraction suited to families with kids of all ages. You don't need to worry about the weather either as this is an all weather attraction with the addition of soft play areas and a ball pool for the little ones. Some of the highlights include the Bull Pen indoor play area, the Raging Bulls Ride, Pat-aPet and the Mini tractors. Of course there is also the opportunity to get up close to the farm animals and try some bottle feeding.

This attraction is really unique in that you have the opportunity to gain a rare insight into a working sanctuary. You can see first hand all of the fantastic work carried out as well as seeing the monkeys themselves. Other popular areas of this attraction include the Bat Cave and Wildlife Room. the Wildlife Gardens and the kids play area. There is something for everyone at The Monkey Sanctuary and you can also sponsor and donate if you wish. The cost to adopt a monkey is from just £2 a month.

Flambards Experience Cornwall - TR13 0QA

A fantastic attraction with something for everyone. Combining rides, activities and exhibitions it's all here in the one place. Look out for seasonal events too such as the Fire in the Sky event on 27th October 2010 - discount advance tickets are available for most of the events so don't forget to check out their website. Some of the most popular thrill rides include the first Twisting Droptower in the UK called the Skyraker 001. The Hornert Rollercoaster is also not to be missed.

Paradise Park first opened its doors in Cornwall in 1973 and has been one of the regions top attractions ever since. What was once just a tropical bird garden is now a refuge for many different species of animal and aims to be educational as well as fun for its visitors. The inhabitants include some typical UK creatures including Otters, and Red Squirrels as well as some more unusual and rare animals including Red Pandas. Younger children will enjoy meeting the friendly animals in the farm area. The site has recently been extended and now also has a fantastic Jungle Barn where kids can let of steam.
