"Our lodge was meant to be brand new but it had a funny smell and there were stains on the seating. The radiator in the bathroom was covered in rust and none of the wc sinks plugs worked. The fridge also needed fixing back onto the cupboard door which is a small thing but makes a difference when we have paid for platinum. However the beds were comfy. The main room was very large and the heating and shower worked great.Could do with smart Tvs as it was very wet we didn't go out all the time so was very limited with free view TV."

"We had a lovely week in St ives holiday Village. It was a bonus to have the bus pull into the site and take us to st ives Town, where parking is a nightmare.The lodge we stayed in was also very quiet and as we like to play cards to the wee hours, it kept the noise in and didn't seem to disturb others around us as we did a sound check ourselves.We did have the main tap in the kitchen falling out of its settings and reported it. The very next day it was replaced and in good working order.Would stay again and recommend to others.Thank you."

"Our first caravan holiday, I was unsure of what to expect, but St Ives holiday park is truly awesome. The site is well laid out, the caravan we stayed in was amazing, comfortable and well cared for and really clean. Not knowing what to expect, we had brought tableware with us, that was mistaken, everything we needed was there. The bathroom was really lovely. It was a good touch to have a second toilet for the main bedroom. Very cozy warm and well cared for accommodation. We will be returning soon.Cornwall IS amazing, the holiday park is really close to everything you need, Tesco is only a few minutes drive, Carbis bay beach is 6 mins drive or 30 mins walk."

"Ace holiday. I think the swimming pool queue system needs to be looked at (obviously covid related) we managed to swim once out of the whole week. Arcade was closed which was a shame but again couldn't be helped. Apart from that we had a fab week and our lodge was AMAZING."

Paradise Park - TR27 4HY

Paradise Park first opened its doors in Cornwall in 1973 and has been one of the regions top attractions ever since. What was once just a tropical bird garden is now a refuge for many different species of animal and aims to be educational as well as fun for its visitors. The inhabitants include some typical UK creatures including Otters, and Red Squirrels as well as some more unusual and rare animals including Red Pandas. Younger children will enjoy meeting the friendly animals in the farm area. The site has recently been extended and now also has a fantastic Jungle Barn where kids can let of steam.

The Rock Gardens Caves and Nursery have an amazing setting in the old Palace Quarry. The gardens offer an abundance of trees, plants and floral displays including a very grand 80ft Elm Tree and a stunning Weeping Ash. The site also offers a large carp pond, a breathtaking illuminated cave and a tea room serving tasty local produce.
