Ruda Reviews

"Stayed on a 3 night break. Accommodation was spotless and very comfortable. Site was clean and tidy."
Wendy - Jul 2022
"Didn’t use the on-site restaurant. Did have Fish and chips from the Fish and chippery, which were tasty and reasonably priced."
Peter - Jul 2022
"The caravan was clean and the reception staff were helpful however the club area where the ordering system has to be done via an app is frustrating at best and each time I used it the order had something missing when it arrived, poor or just trying to rip of the customer?"
Dennis - Jul 2022
"Great location, lovely clean caravan and contactless check in/out. We really liked the Italian on site. Staff were mostly great with a few exceptions (the shop). Overall we had brilliant week."
David - Jul 2022
"Great location right by the beautiful beach and bay"
Anthea - Jul 2022
"The en-suite that wed booked the caravan for not being there annoyed me through the week. Didnt want to make a big deal of it though and from what people said there would be no spares to move to anyway. Small problem with the shower was fixed within an hour. Other than that the caravan was great for our family and needs."
Jim - Aug 2020
"Lodge was lovely clean and comfortable the only things I would say was the fridge door never seemed to close properly and the shower screen on the bath wouldnt close properly so leaked. Apart from that no complaints."
Sandra - Feb 2020
"Lovely comfortable lodge so close to the beach cant ask for more thanks"
Nicholas - Dec 2019
"lovely visit to Ruda definitely book again."

Susan - Aug 2019
"Absolutely love Ruda at Croyde Bay. Fab location, beach just over the road and village a short walk away with couple of good pubs, ice cream shop etc. We stayed in 3 bed Dartmouth caravan, was great. We have booked to come back for Christmas. Smashing walk over baggy point to woolacombe. Tarka trail also v close, we hired bikes from Braunton, great day out with the kids. Body boarding and surfing was great fun. Would highly recommend for a fab family holiday."
Sally - Aug 2019
"Lovely accommodation. Very spacious but could be cleaner and actually way to pricey for holiday park"
Rebecca - Aug 2019
"Overall a good holiday, the location couldnt be better. The accommodation could do with a refurbishment."
Paula - Aug 2019
"We will definately be booking to stay at ruda again."
Karen - Aug 2019
"Our apartment was amazing, right on the beach. We were very pleased with the location of and the facilities at the resort, something for all ages. We utilised the spa pool and hot tub every day and we loved the stroll into the village of Croyde nearby. The location of the resort allowed us to explore North Devon and all it's beauty. The apartment was excellent, the little extras made a difference. Dish washer plus tablets and washer/dryer plus tablets are a lovely touch. Although the apartment was fairly clean it could do with a thorough cleaning. The woodwork, doors especially, are in need of a good clean, these were sticky around the handles. However, we thoroughly enjoyed are holiday and hope to return in the near future."
Una - Jul 2019
"Spacious lounde area"
Tracy - Jul 2019
"We had a great time lodge very clean inside but needs some work on the outside windows steamed up double glazing broken down also needs painting. Chips from the chip shop very dry and not very nice."
Nicola - Jul 2019
"Few issues in both restaurants. Really poor service in the Italian restaurant and cold meals sent back in other restaurant. Inappropriate language used by person working in kids shop when kids were present."
Christine - Jul 2019
"Had a great time with family and friends"
Natasha - Jun 2019
"201 bracken
Needs new door handles or new exterior doors. Difficult to lock.
Otherwise great."
Karen - Jun 2019
"Overall lovely holiday"
Jane - Jun 2019
"A great caravan. Single beds very narrow and only suitable for children really"
Emmy - May 2019
"Always brilliant! Cant wait to come back again"
Ella - May 2019
"The lodge was lovely everything we needed difficult to fit in the cot and we had loads of ants. Staff were very happy to rectify will return"

Christine - May 2019

Tessa - Apr 2019
"Felt as we booked a cheaper last minute, the accommodation allocated reflected the price paid. Have visited before and had a nicer caravan in a much better location."
Lisa - Apr 2019
"Nice holiday lovely location didnt like having to queue in the rain for check in. But besides that was a lovely place"
Ian - Apr 2019
"Had a fantastic time"
Chelsea - Mar 2019
"Harracott lodge was the perfect accommodation for 2 families sharing. Enough bathrooms (en suite) and plenty of living space to get together for films, games and socialising. The boot room kept the living space clean and tidy even with the children. Everything was clean and well kept. We all came away saying that the accommodation made our holiday and wed love to go back."
