Caddy’s Corner Lodges Reviews

"Another fantastic stay in the Gwenver lodge. All facilities excellent as before. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay"
Andrew - Mar 2024
"Lighting outsidein car park would have stopped me falling and less steep steps for elderly/mobility."
Verified Guest - Mar 2024
"Wow what an amazing find. The lodge was perfect and had everything we needed for our weeks stay. The Hottub was spotlessly clean and toasty hot. There are only 12 lodges so the site is very quiet, with far reaching stunning views.Caddys Corner is very dog friendly and has 2 fields where you can safely walk your dog off lead. The site is within easy reach of Falmouth and glorious beaches. All of out contact with Sam was spot on. Sam was incredible friendly (but not too much) and was a font of information about what we could do and where we could go, he knew all the good eateries. We are booking again for next year and would definitely recommend Caddys Corner Lodges."
Verified Guest - Mar 2024
"Lovely place nice and quiet but there is a well equipped play park were you can see your children all the time there is a lake to walk round not far from the site. You can goall over Cornwall from the side we really enjoyed staying there would go back Sam was friendly Love the site"
Joan - Mar 2024
"Lovely, peaceful holiday in the middle of farmland. Location was good as its near to the beaches but most things require a car to get there."
Charlie - Mar 2024
"A lovely lodge with everything we needed for our stay. Small site with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside."

"Spotlessly clean, had everything you would need."
Verified Guest - Feb 2024
"Great place lovely out of the way park. Overall very good. Nothing wrong and was clean but could just do with a bit of attention to detail in some areas. But I have seen worse, a lot worse. Do not let that put you off booking though. Its only minor details"
Verified Guest - Jan 2024
"A lovely and comfortable accommodation. Definitely recommend to other guests and will return."
Rachel - Jan 2024
"We love it. Keep coming back!"
Verified Guest - Dec 2023

Rebecca - Nov 2023
"All noted previously but an amazing weekend full of laughter relaxing walking eating lots of food and getting good nights sleep."
Toni - Nov 2023
"Great holiday. Caddys corner is well equipped and high end. Lots of room, lovely lounge area and kitchen with large breakfast bar and table. Beautiful bedroom with en-suite. Everything was as it looks on the website. Would highly recommend."
Lara - Nov 2023
"Beautiful clean lodge with all utensils you could think of. Well laid out and thought of in relation to their guests. Lovely little park and walk area too. Very peaceful and away from comossion, which I love and only a short journey to most tourist attractions. Would definitely return. Owners were very welcoming and were available quickly via mobile when and if needed."
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"Sofas need replacing"
BEVERLEY - Nov 2023
"Just had a fortnight's stay in the Perran lodge near Redruth. Lovely peaceful rural location, with a selection of decent (well-priced) pubs within a short distance. The park is fairly small, there's a field and play equipment for young children and it all feels very safe. There's plenty of space to park. It's a 3km walk from here to Stithians Watersports centre where we spent much of our holiday windsurfing. The staff there are really friendly and helpful and the set up is very relaxed. The lodge itself was lovely - plenty of room for our family of 4 (3 adults, 1 late teen) - and there was just about everything there which we could think we might need. Bed was a little firm for me. Hot tub was lovely and just the thing after a chilly day at the reservoir. Plenty of equipment for cooking, plus a dishwasher and washing machine were appreciated. Suggestions for improvement? Well aside from a few degrees in the weather, my sons complained about the wifi which wasn't great (especially in the early evening when everyone is trying to use it). A dustpan and brush would have been appreciated, and the freezer needed to be defrosted. But really I'm nitpicking - I'd be back in a flash. Thank you."
Catherine - Nov 2023
"Everything was great lodge was perfect for what we needed. Lovely bench outside to eat which was a nice touch. Hot tub was luxurious but not that powerful but we all loved it."
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"Absolutely perfect, all the amenities, free WiFi and a fantastic "hot" hot tub! The dogs loved it as walking areas within the Lodge site and more public footpath walks just up the road. The beds were really comfy, shower hot and powerful and the fridge had plenty of room for our essential "prosecco" provisions. Anything not good?....Nope, all perfect"
Beccy - Apr 2023
"Tresco was large with plenty of room, light and airy and very clean. We benefitted from an en-suite and a separate bathroom so one each! Everything you need is provided and the hot tub was great."
Richard - May 2022
"The lodge was beautiful and looked just like the pictures. There isn't much around the area likes shops etc, it's all driving distance but that's not a bad thing, the area is loverly and quite and they cleaned the hot tub out daily. Any questions I needed to ask I just rang them and they helped, would highly recommend and good value in price"
Tom - Apr 2022
"The lodge was lovely, the hot tub made it."
Lucie - Apr 2022
"Excellent and clean . Ideal for family getaway ."
Dinah - Apr 2022
"We loved our stay at Caddy's Corner and the lodge was amazing. So big and perfect for large families. The bedrooms had plenty of space and the main living area was perfect."
David - Apr 2022
"Everything was great apart from a few things not working (only the clock on the wall, the light in fire and the microwave dish stopped going around) and on the last day the inside oven door glass slipped down but everything else was great"
Natalie - Mar 2022
"Clean, warm and cosy lodge with nice views over the fields. Hot tub was clean and ready when we arrived."
Bassem - Mar 2022
"We had a fantastic time staying in this lodge. It was a great size and was spotless when we arrived. There were a few things that needed replacing like a couple of blinds and a small tear in the sofa but only small things that didn't impact our stay at all. Sam was excellent, very friendly and helpful. Would defiantly recommend staying here."
Jayd - Feb 2022
"We stayed at Caddys corner over the New Year. Staff were friendly and were able to contact via text. The Lodge was large and well equipped with everything you need. Little ware and tear within the lodge but didn't hamper our stay. We had to put few items straight into the dishwasher to give them a better clean. Overall a really nice lodge with the lovely clean hot tub which we were in most nights! The area is really nice, peaceful with great views of the countryside. We Would recommend and would stay here again."
Eleanor - Jan 2022
"We had a lovely short break at Caddy’s Corner. Well equipped lodge and lovely hot tub. Good location for exploring Falmouth and the Lizard"
Sheila - Aug 2022
"Quiet place didn't see staff ..didn't Need staff .peaceful .need a car to get around surrounding areas .."
Kevin - Aug 2022
"Returned for our 6th year running. Amazing location within easy reach of so many amazing places. Looking forward to returning again next year."
Michael - Jul 2022
"This was our third visit to Caddy's Corner and we had another lovely holiday. Set in a quiet, rural location the park is ideal for exploring SW Cornwall with the Lizard, St Ives and Falmouth just a short drive. We stayed in Perran Lodge this time which was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay - super comfy beds and nice powerful showers. Hot tub was a bonus even though we had very hot weather. We will definitely visit Caddy's again and would recommend for anyone looking for peaceful, relaxing holiday in a countryside setting."
Sam - Jul 2022
"Absolutely beautiful one of the best lodges we have stayed in thank-you"
Sam - Jun 2022
"The lodge was clean, comfortable and perfect position overlooking horse fields. My children enjoyed playing on the park. The park is quiet and approx 3 miles from the nearest pub, 15 mins to supermarkets and 30 mins to local beaches. Car is a must for this location as no local buses pass through the lanes. Would definitely stay here again"
Jennifer - Jun 2022
"After waiting 3 years to enjoy our Holiday (delayed by COVID and illness) we finally got there and found it to be idyllic. The cabin was spacious and very well appointed, and the grounds kept very neat and tidy. I would recommend to anyone wishing to try this type of holiday."
Stephen - Jun 2022
"The site was quite remote but that did mean the nights were exceptionally quiet. Would recommend for a peaceful get away."
Andrew - Jun 2022
"Me and my family had a great time on our holiday, the lodge was perfect and was just how the pictures looked on line when I booked, very clean. And would definitely look to staying there again. Even tho the weather wasn’t that great it still didn’t stop us as a family from doing days out."
