About Kilminorth Cottages

These beautiful cottages have been beautifully restored from old Cornish farm buildings, and now feature contemporary design, light open plan interiors and cutting edge technology. They're only a short walk from the popular town of Looe - and not far from Polperro - so there is a good selection of shops, restaurant and pubs nearby.

Kilminorth Cottages have their own gorgeous gardens and an impressive outdoor swimming pool. An all-weather tennis court plus lovely walks through the woodland are also right on the doorstep. This is a lovely part of Cornwall and accessible to some major attractions, such as the Eden Project and Adrenaline Quarry, home of the longest zip wire in the UK.

Bridle Cottage sleeps up to five people over two storeys. It's bright, airy and comfortable with two luxury double bedrooms and one single room. The patio doors lead to a terrace with a barbecue, garden furniture and private outdoor hot tub.

As well as the many sporting activities - sailing, gliding, hot air ballooning - available in Cornwall, you could also spend a day meeting the primates at the Monkey Sanctuary in Looe.

Kilminorth Cottages Reviews

"Really lovely. The hot tub needed a roof or pergola , some sort of cover, so that if its raining you can still enjoy it. A frying pan would be good too. A soap holder for the soap in the shower. Grounds were lovely.!"
Victoria - Apr 2024
"Very modern everything you need. Staff couldnt have been more helpful we will be back."
Kevin - Apr 2024
"Wonderful place, everything you could want for a getaway with your dog"
Sarah - Mar 2024
"Cottage was a bit small and a couple of things were a bit broken and requiring maintenance and the bathroom wasnt very private as it doesnt have a ceiling to separate it from the bedroom. Also there werent any pots or pans in the kitchen for cooking which was a little odd considering the kitchen was equipped with everything else we needed to cook and eat with. Bed and sofa was comfortable though and lighting and heating was good for a winter holiday."
Verified Guest - Feb 2024
"Stayed over a NYE weekend and it was good value with good facilities, tho couldnt find an ironing board or iron - not that it mattered to us and Im sure if we asked we would have been provided with one. The location is a 10 min drive out of Looe itself but the friendly staff (Becky and Jayne) organised taxis for us even at short notice on NYE. We all had a lovely comfy weekend and made good use of the hot tub too. Definately recommend and in summer some nice walks too."
Michael - Jan 2024
"Just Perfect!"
Verified Guest - Jan 2024
"Second time of staying at this lovely cottage and will be back next year!"
Zowie - Nov 2023
"The cottage was absolutely fantastic, facilities were clean and brilliant. The staff and owner Jane were tremendous! Nothing was too much trouble and they looked after us all. Highly recommend this to everyone and wed love to go again soon. With more cottages around its perfect to be there with a wider group of friends. Looe is a great town and has everything padstow has to offer without the price tag and chaos. Loved our time here."
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"The cottage was well equipped, clean and cosy and set in a beautiful location. The grounds are stunning and the perfect place to take a short dog walk or enjoy a drink at the outside bar. The pool was a little bit chilly due to the weather but an added bonus. Looe was a longer walk through the ancient woodland and well worth the hills! There is lots to do in the local area including Polperro and a river trip to Fowey or Looe island. We had a fab holiday and would recommend to family and friends."
Carey - Nov 2023
"Always a lovely stay at Kilminorth a little slice of heaven"
AMY - Oct 2023
"Where do I begin. The cottages are incredible and has a real feel of relaxation and home. The grounds itself are amazing, plenty of walking space with the dogs, kids or just by yourself. The staff are so friendly and absolutely loved our dog and even catered to his needs, it was lovely to receive a knock on the door with a member of staff stood holding a dog bundle containing a feeding bowl, towel, poo bags, dog soap, treats and a collar tag with the cottages information on it. The grounds are only a short drive into Looe Town, and when I say short I mean a 7 minute drive. Martins bakery is an absolute must if you're visiting. As well as the whole area is general. We will definitely be returning and are already discussing dates for next year."

Robin - Feb 2020
"We had a lovely stay in Ash Cottage which was beautiful and very spacious. We made good use of the hot tub on the cold evenings and enjoyed the tennis court too. The grounds around Kilminorth are beautiful to walk around and our little boy enjoyed the trampoline and tree swing. The only issue I would say there was is that as a lot of dogs roam free around the grounds there was dog poo on our doorstep one morning which my little boy stepped in, but other than that it was a lovely break away and we would definitely return."
Adam - Jan 2020
"Would definitely return, can't get much better of a recommendation than that!"
Sofie - Jan 2020
"Lovely - would stay again"
Sarah - Dec 2019

Gwyneth - Nov 2019
"Great location for walking. Cosy cottage, always warm and very clean. Excellent beds and quilts! Slept very soundly.
Only one small thing I would change: have a proper bread knife for the lovely bakery bread."
Elaine - Oct 2019
"Excellent break. Weather was beautiful and the accommodation was everything it was described to be. The setting is stunning, with the grounds surrounding the cottages maintained to a very high standard. Will certainly go back!"
Jonathan - Sep 2019
"Recommend this place to anyone"
Gary - Sep 2019
"Fantastic time had by all. The location and accommodation were lovely and the hosts couldnt have been more accommodating. Pool, tennis courts and hot tub made it feel very exclusive."

Roslyn - Jul 2022
"Beautiful location and facilities on site. Caters for a wide range of ages. Loved the fat there were tennis courts to play - an added bonus."
Bal - Jul 2022
"Its my first time at the cottage but my friends who i went with have been five times before and i can see why the place is stunning the staff are all happy and professional. The cottages are spacious clean homely and well equipped. The hot tub is cleaned twice a day and is amazing the views and grounds are stunning and kept to an extremely high standard . I cannot comment on the pool because i never used it but again looked great. I cannot fault this cottage at all and would definitely return."
Gary - Jul 2022
"The cottages are set in a stunning rural setting, with the only noise being the birds and sheep! The cottage itself was spotless when we arrived and had all the necessities we needed for our stay. An added bonus was the private hot tub which was a great way to unwind after a full day of exploring the Cornish countryside. We didn't take advantage of the outdoor pool due to the hot tub but it did look very inviting! Would definitely stay here again."
Jane - Jul 2022
"We enjoyed our stay we wish we booked for longer we will definitely be coming back"
Kerry - Jul 2022
"Facilities were excellent. Will look to book again next time we are in the area."

"Brilliant location and brilliant facilities. Almost undersold but the add on just how beautiful it is. Truly a special week, would 100% recommend to others."
Benjamin - Jul 2022
"We had the best time ever, and 100% will be returning! The staff were so helpful, and the amenities and surrounding area was spot on. There’s so many cottages to choose from! It was the perfect dog friendly holiday. ?"
Josie - Jun 2022
"A beautiful cottage in a splendid setting. Gorgeous views from every room. Some areas of cleaning could be improved but generally very good. Didn’t see anyone at all - they tried to close the pool early for no apparent reason and the bar was sporadically open. Overall though I would go back there because the beauty of the surroundings is well worth the small Cornish lane down to it."
