Mullion Cove Coastal Retreat Reviews

"Thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend very peaceful nd relaxing. Grandson loved the hot tub! Local pub nd fish nd chip shop served fab food too. Will book again!"
Caroline - Apr 2024
"Lovely little cove escape! For a quiet peaceful break, I 100% recommend. If you have children and they aren't into walking / exploring I'd probably give Mullion a miss. No facilities on site but the hot tub was a fantastic hit! Clean accommodation and plenty of space for 8 of us. Parking only for 1 car so had to park other elsewhere, slightly annoying but appreciate the site doesn't have space to accommodate all cars. Flambards down the road and cute wander up to the chocolate shop on the top of the hill. Noone bothered us, apart from the wind and rain! I'd definitely come again if in the area."
Rachel - Apr 2024
"Brilliant holiday in a beautiful part of Cornwall."
Verified Guest - Apr 2024
"Lovely comfortable lodge and very well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, TV and WiFi. Lovely to spend the day indoor on a rainy day."
Mrs G - Apr 2024
"Accommodation spotlessly clean and very comfortable, everything you could possible need and more. Hot tub was such a lovely extra, especially after the long walks."

"Lovely lodge great location very peaceful"
Nicholas - Mar 2024
"An all round nice place. Some narrow roads, in parts, to navigate but ok generally. The chalets were immaculate and the staff friendly. The landscaping is fully developed and does make parking a bit tight in some areas. However there is ample parking adjacent the site."

"Lovely lodge with everything we needed"
Gail - Mar 2024
"We had booked a long weekend stay for a Cornwall break.Upon arrival of the lodge at Mullion cove coastal retreat, the cleanliness was very disappointing. We found, cobwebs, mould, dirty floors, to have not been cleaned. On top of this, we went to use the cooking facilities and found that the previous occupier had used the utensils, pots and pans and where greasy from not bring cleaned. I would put this fault down to the Mullion cove coastal retreat for not quality checking properly. We did go to reception to politely make these points, with no action being taken. To add insult to injury the fridge door didn't close properly and the shower sliding door was coming apart.I would definitely be thinking twice before booking at this Mullion cove coastal retreat!!If there is a way, l would upload the pictures taken, to show the grubbyness!"
Michael - Feb 2024
"Only negative of our whole stay would be the sheets did not fit the small single beds, they were too small which resulted in waking up on a bare mattress.Lodges and location are otherwise perfect."
Laura - Feb 2024
"The lodge was extremely spacious, clean and comfortable and had everything needed for our stay."
Verified Guest - Feb 2024
"Great mini break with family.Superb facilities and location.Clean well kept lodge and site. Will be back."
Richard - Jan 2024
"Lovely location and the lodge was spacious and clean, dishwasher was temperamental and the lodge could do with a bit of maintenance, hooks missing from bathroom, no handles on fridge freezer, marks on wall. But otherwise very acceptable and great for a quick break, local coop up the road is well stocked and there are several places to eat in the near vicinity."
Verified Guest - Jan 2024
"Was a beautiful, idyllic spot. Just a few lodges. Near walks, beach. Mullion cove. Lived it. And to top it the hot tub was perfect, at the end of the day."
Verified Guest - Jan 2024
"We had a fantastic 4 night break so much so we have booked again to spend 7 nights over Xmas next year ????"
Jamie - Jan 2024
"Mullion Cove Costal Retreat is a nice quiet little park with 28 lodges, some with hot tubs and some without. The team are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. The lodge was clean tidy and ready to go, furniture is sturdy and picked to a good standard. We loved our stay here and would come back again."
Verified Guest - Jan 2024
"Great 3rd visit to Mullion CoveAlready have another 2 bookings with you. Our favourite place to stay in Cornwall"
Verified Guest - Jan 2024
"Absolutely loved the lodge! Quiet location and easy to get to supermarkets etc. Nice and spacious, plenty of facilities inside. Only thing was ( this did not ruin our holiday) broken shower curtain in main bathroom but our kids used our on suite so not an issue. Loads of cobwebs on the curtains, blinds and light fittings but again did not ruin the holiday. We did have issues with the cooker and internet which was quickly rectified! Again this did not ruin our holiday. We would gladly come again and have told family members to join us should we stay again for Xmas! You should definitely consider if possible using the old out buildings before you get to you entry gates for a small grocery shop for small shopping supplies though ????"
Marlene - Jan 2024
"Lovely lodge but lots of maintenance needed- toilet had bits missing, scratches on the wall, some radiators were turned off, big beds in small spaces meant knees now have bruises. Grill had no handle. Disappointing accommodation overall. I love the Darwin escapes but this has put me off going to any others."
Verified Guest - Dec 2023
"Lovely clean lodge. Had everything we needed for a week away. Beds nice and comfortable. Truly enjoyable stay."
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"Gorgeous lodge"
Nia - Nov 2023
"Lovely peaceful park only let down was the beds not comfortable at all very disappointing"
Alex - Jul 2023
"Peaceful accommodation was lovely. Parking space was terrible for us too close to planted trees no room. shower could have been better For the price we paid but we did really enjoy here. So calm"

"staff were so helpful - if you think you need somethign for the accomodation they'd race to get it. Don't be afraid to ask. could do with a real deep clean though"
Ian - Aug 2020
"Very relaxing holiday"
Vivien - Aug 2022
"Great location, 2 mins walk to Mullion Cove & short driving distance to beaches. Quiet & beautifully located. I would have given it 10/10 but the lodge wifi was temperamental & had to keep connecting & disconnecting for it to work. No mobile signal within a mile or 2. Overflow parking wasn’t secured (only 1 allocated car per lodge). Other than that, perfect holiday."
MaryAnn - Aug 2022
"A wonderful holiday with our dog. This is a peaceful small site. Walking distance to the cove but you will need to drive 5 minutes to get to the local shops. Our cabin came with a couple of bin bags, washing up cloth and liquid plus a tea towel, salt and pepper and some tea, coffee and sugar. Shower has sample sizes of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel to get your holiday started. One evening was a little chilly but the heating comes on instantly and makes it lovely and toasty. Hot tub is clean and well maintained and sat into the deck so even though your neighbours are close you do have privacy. Overall we loved it and would definitely retrun!"
Amie - Aug 2022
"Lovely place to go on holiday to"
Andrew - Aug 2022
"Beautiful location, really quiet and not much going on, which is exactly what we wanted after a busy day of exploring all the amazing surrounding areas that are only a short drive away. This is our second time staying here and plan to come again :)"
Laura - Aug 2022
"Had an amazing weekend stay! The lodge was lovely for the price we paid, very quiet, no noise in the evenings from other residents, situated in a lovely location, just a short drive from most places. Lovely harbour at the bottom of the street just a 2 minute walk which we spent most of our weekend on. Lovely sunset in the evenings which you are able to stand and watch, and a little private beach in the day time when the tide is out! Will definitely be returning. Staff were very helpful, we arrived early for check in with a 4 month old baby, they got our room cleaned and ready for us as quick as they could. Very nice place."
Charlotte - Jul 2022
"We had a lovely week in our lodge. Very good spec & the hot tub was a family favourite ?"

"Lovely place to stay. Highly recommend 10/10"
Ashley - Jul 2022
"Would definitely go again and hopefully for longer."
Ryan - Jul 2022
"Staff were very pleasant but check-in from 4 on a Saturday and closed at 5 seems a bit strange."
