Carmarthen Bay Reviews

"Caravan was nice but not properly cleaned. There were sweet wrappers under all of the beds, and the plates and cutlery were all really badly washed. I imagine the previous guests didnt have washing up liquid, and it wasnt checked by staff."
Matthew - Nov 2023
"Caravan was not ideal, rather grubby and tired, too small to be comfortable."
Stephen - Nov 2023
"Over all very good. Clean and warm.site was isolated need car to get out and about."
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"The caravan didnt have the features which we paid extra for as the stardley pet. There was no built in water bowel station which was why we booked the caravan at first as we thought this was a lovely feature for the dog. When asking for if they gave us a glass kitchen cooking bowl for the dogs water. The tv was in a different language and no way of changing and wasnt able to use the smart tv features as there was no Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi on our phones did not work so we was stuck when we got in the caravan as no Wi-Fi on phone or tv. This did ruin our weekend and the staff was not helpful at all"
Holly - Nov 2023
"Holiday companies really should demand more from manufacturers of caravans. Caravan desperately needed a door curtain. 4 hooks for a 6 birth just doesn't work. Not luxury requests ? just basic imho."
Kim - Jul 2023
"Absolutely disgusting place to visit. Caravan was dirty, filled with bugs, holes in a door, mould on the shower and bedroom curtains. Pull out sofa bed doesn't even have basic mattress. Staff are rude and unhelpful, facilities are dire. Overall, only go if you wish to waste to your money. Whilst staying, we weren't the only ones to complain. No beach, but you do have a train line right next to you, with trains running at all hours."
Matthew - Jun 2023
"Well equipped caravan, enough space for the 2 of us, very nice home from home."
Gary - Jun 2023
"The trains were very nosey a often no parking next to caravan"
Alan - Jun 2023
"loved it will consider going again"
Rebecca - Aug 2020
"twin room for the kids was a bit small. otherwise lovely."
Geraint - Aug 2020
"The mobile home was very clean. Well stocked kitchen. Plenty of hot water. Was a bit wet so heating came in handy to dry off clothes/shoes. Would definitely go back"
Rosemarie - Aug 2020
"One of the best places we have stayed clean airy everything u could need there brilliant"
Julie - Aug 2020
"Beautifully presented caravan. Very comfortable beds. Everything we needed in terms of crockery and utensils. We had central heating which came in handy on bad weather days. Its a compact caravan but 3 adults managed perfectly well in the space."
Bec - Aug 2020
"Excellent. No fault at all"
James - Aug 2020
"Amazing lodge, relaxing hot tub, and stunning views from the decking."
Sally - Aug 2020
"We had a wonderful holiday at Carmarthen Bay. Caravan was spotlessly clean and everything well set up to adapt to the current situation. Site was very well maintained. Excellent value for money family holiday in great location for travelling around West Wales."
Louise - Jul 2020
"Sadly the people who had stayed in the caravan before us had clearly ignored the no smoking signs and the caravan smelt of smoke. The cleaning staff came and recleaned it but it couldnt get rid of the smell. Aside from that the caravan was good and this wasnt the fault of the campsite staff."
Rachael - Jul 2020
"the caravan was amazing. with a decent view of the gower. the kids room was really nice and the disabled bathroom and shower perfect. our bed was massive with loads of room around the bed. thank you"
David - Jul 2020
"Beautiful location, and very relaxing views over the estuary"
Adrian - Sep 2019
"Great caravan very clean and comfy"
Lyn - Sep 2019
"Does not look good from the outside, but very nice inside, clean, warm and the kitchen is well equipped with utensils etc. From our chalet we could be on the beach in 30 seconds!"
Colin - Sep 2019
"There were two wash basins & two WCs. The ensuite was fine but not good for brushing teeth as the shelf obstructed the very small sink! The twin bedded bedroom might be a bit cramped for two adults but excellent for one adult."
Michael - Sep 2019
"We had a great time."
Mandy - Aug 2019
"We were a family of 6 and we had plenty of room with all the comfort of home."
Susan - Aug 2019
"Fabulous end to our summer holidays thankyou"
Alison - Aug 2019
"Was a lovely relaxing holiday, plenty to do if you travel a little further afield with the caravan site being a relaxing base"
Rebecca - Aug 2019
"We had a great holiday with our three grandchildren."
Charlotte - Aug 2019
"will definately be going back(hope its sunny next time)."
Frederick - Jun 2019
"Most of the staff were absolutely fantastic. Thank you ladies. I’ve given a five for the two young men who were rude and unhelpful."
Peter - Aug 2022
"We had an amazing time at Camarthen Bay. The location is stunning and there’s always something to do for the children, I would always pre book activities in advance to ensure we got a place. The staff are always helpful and friendly and there is always someone around to help. The beach is a stone throw away and so beautiful. I would definitely stay here again."
Shereena - Aug 2022
"Fantastic holiday. I absolutely adore Wales and thought I would stay in a chalet in camathan bay this time. I loved every minute of it. At the end of the day if you love being remote and away from the rat race. This is the place to stay. Great for the children. A stones throw away from the beach. Yes you are on country roads and unfortunately there is a lot of that in Wales and that is what I love. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Cosy home from home chalets."
Sarabeth - Jul 2022
"Staff are amazing upgraded us ASAP no problems"
Katie - Jul 2022
"Beautiful holiday park would highly recommend staff are great clean place really nice and enjoyable"
David - Jul 2022
"Great site. Only downside is the proximity of the train line, which to be fair after the first couple of nights even the 25 oil tankers and diesel engine didn't wake us."
Ginette - Jul 2022
