"The caravan was great, very spacious with ample storage space. The only issue for us were the twin beds. The springs were popping through the mattress on one, thankfully we didnt need all of them."
Ginny - Mar 2024
"Why have air con blowing out freezing cold on a winter weekend? Caravan floors need cleaning. Food and children's entertainment was good."
Marie - Mar 2024
"Great lodge , with all you need tea , coffee , towels iron , hairdryer . Good size frisge and freezer and a great oven . One draw back is that there is no internet connection . There was no WiFi in the lodge but if you know that then thats ok .The hot tub was clean and hot and easy to access . The private garden was private considering how close each lodge is situated ."
Sandra - Mar 2024
"Claire, the maintenance person, was brilliant. She responded promptly and professionally to a query about the hot tub. Thank you."
Jan - Jan 2024
"Arrived for new year drainage around the caravans does not exist causing flooding and mud swamp . Site facilitys very small and over booked so never got to use any facilitys ie pool/ club /bars . Staff very unhelpful from reception and through out the site . Would never use this site again"
Catherine - Jan 2024
"I booked a last minute Christmas holiday, caravan 75, on Wednesday 20th Dec. We arrived Saturday 23rd Dec. We were able to check in early because it was ready. Slight issue with the lock but resolved quickly. Staff very friendly and efficient. Caravan very clean, a short walk to gate that leads to the entertainment/reception area. You can walk to the beach. The Lighthouse pub is very welcoming."
Maria - Jan 2024
"Lovely warm and comfortable lodge, great lounge and dining area perfect for family holiday. Private Hot tub warm even in the cold rainy winter weather. Nice garden area. Lovely large warm swimming pool very safe for young children. Sauna in pool area."
Verified Guest - Jan 2024
"Disappointed in the holiday as a whole but our caravan was filthy. Did not look like it had been cleaned. Floors were grubby. Cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. TV aerial had melted - to be fair the security sent someone out within 5 mins and sorted this.Dog hairs everywhere. We'd booked a pet free due to son and husband having bad allergies. Bed did not feel like the sheets had been cleaned. The path to the caravan had flooded so had to wade through what smelled like sewage every time which wasn't pleasant anyway but my husband has recently had sepsis and is in the process of losing his toes and wearing dressing shoes. What was meant to be a lovely, relaxing rest turned into stressful and miserable time. We left early. When we complained when leaving the lady on reception did not seem surprised - feel like she'd dealt with a lot of the same comments."
Lucy - Jan 2024
"The lodge is huge, and the hot tub is great we used it plenty even in late December. Everything seemed pretty clean some of it looks a tiny bit tired but I'm being picky. Would definitely stay again."
David - Jan 2024
"Caravan was clean tidy and in excellent condition it was very cosy & comfortable.Had a great Christmas breakHighly recommend"
Verified Guest - Dec 2023
"Toilet doorknob loosened"
Verified Guest - Dec 2023
"Absolutely brilliant"
Andrew - Nov 2023
"The lodge did not meet up with our expectations for the cost of the holiday. As we had a dog friendly lodge we were mindful of it being not as luxurious, but feel this lodge was below standards that we have had in the past. The Hot tub was poor the jets were working not too full capacity, when I reported it I was told that the button that was for stronger jets was not connected. Most of the blinds were shabby, there was odd plates and cutlery, pan handles were loose and dangerous to use. The milk shelf in the fridge was loose, toaster so small bread didnt fit in it, microwave was rusty, toilet roll holder was loose coming of the wall.Double bed very low down not comfortable. There seemed to be a private section of lodges to the right side of the lodge that had a dog that was barking often when people walked by, it was barking at 6 oclock in the morning waking us up."
Kim - Nov 2023
"As previously stated the lodge was huge and modern, we was a party of 8 and we had lots of space, it had 3 bedrooms and the beds were comfy. Its a beautiful lodge just needs to be cleaned properly before guess arrive."
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"Not happy ..."
Farzana - Nov 2023
"The caravan really would benefit from a deep clean. Under the furniture fittings e.g bed and sofa, there were copious amounts of dust. So much dust infact, that my daughter lost something under the sofa, and I daren't retrieve it."
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
"Terrible caravan. Really unclean and after staff came in to give it a deep clean it was awful still! My 5 Yr old picked up a dirty old plaster, dried pasta stuck to the colinder and thick dust everywhere! Broken blinds, holes in the wall.. the list goes on!"
Sarah - Nov 2023
"Shabby lodge though the overall space was excellent. Masses of seagull poo though"
valerie - May 2023
"A beautiful location with lots to do."
Mel - Aug 2022
"Absolutely brilliant holiday again... Lovely site and great facilities"
Stacey - Aug 2022
"My family love it here, beautiful park, beautiful location, beautiful beach. Very close by to surrounding places. The food and drink is quite over priced but all in all we had a fantastic time and will continue to stay here."
