At Marine Holiday Park, we offer fun for all the family! Located close to the center of famous Rhyl, with its 3 miles of golden sandy beaches and exciting attractions, we offer a perfect base to explore all that North Wales has to offer.

The park itself hosts a great range of facilities including a superb tropical indoor heated pool ’Shipwreck Bay’, which has had a complete refurbishment for the 2022 season! There is Mermaid Café, which is also newly refurbished for 2022, Captain’s Gallery street food takeaway, another new addition so you won’t be short on places to eat during your stay, a sports bar and entertainment club - there really is something for everyone! Our amusements arcade, toddler’s outdoor play area, adventure playgrounds and dedicated kids club offer plenty to do for all ages. In 2021 we had the addition of “The Shack” and two brand new adventure playgrounds. “The Shack” is an entirely outdoor facility allowing your family to enjoy the fresh sea air during your time with us. The Shack comprises a burger bar, ice cream parlour (Ice Cream Port) and outdoor bar which has been enjoyed by guests of all ages!

There are also several outdoor heated beach huts so families can relax whilst enjoying a meal, drink, or simply to watch the children playing. There are also plenty of picnic benches available in this area, so you won’t be short on somewhere to sit and enjoy a burger and ice cream! We have also invested in an outdoor stage area so live music can be played and enjoyed by all the family.

We also have invested in two brand new outdoor play areas on-site, one of which is our Ship Wrecked Adventure Playground! This is in the same location as the brand new “The Shack” area. We also have the “Pirates Cove” playground which has been placed at the other end of the park so that no matter where you are on the site there will be something to keep kids both big and small entertained. We also offer live entertainment from top-class acts in our Mariners Club, where you can join in the fun or simply relax and enjoy the atmosphere!

"Overall we had a good holiday caravan was lovely clean and comfortable enjoyed north wales"
Elizabeth - Aug 2020
"Not ideal for disabled people. Was noisey at night from neighbours having parties and fire works. But nice caravan just awkward to get too if you have limited walking not ideal for wheelchairs as only between the vans"
Jackie - Aug 2020
"A wonderful holiday despite the present situation"
Marie - Aug 2020

Sebastian - Nov 2019
"The Captains Quarters lodge was great value at the reduced price. It was very comfortable, had televisions in the bedrooms and the hot tub was great. It would cost more for everyone to stay in a hotel/b&b."
Verified Guest - Oct 2019
"My wife and I stayed in the disabled caravan 410A at Marine Holiday Park.

The caravan was brilliant and suited all our needs, and was very welcoming and clean.... - Everything from a easy to get up ramp plus the caravan was easy to move around in with My wife's wheelchair - All the facilities in the caravan were just great.

We called upon staff to ask about a blown bulb for the electrical fire so that we could have a softer light due too my wife's light sensitivity, and before the day was over, the bulb had been replaced!.

We have come away very well rested and hope that one day we can come back for another needed stay."
Les - Sep 2019
"Restful comfortable, clean towels and bed linen were superb."
Janice - Sep 2019
"Tea cups and teaspoons were tea stained otherwise clean ."
Joan - Sep 2019
"Had a good time chilling out would love to go again but very long journey getting there"
Julie - Aug 2019
"Excellent, loved every day I was there, even the 1 day of rain we had."
Lisa - Aug 2019
"We absolutely loved our time at marine park. We enjoyed the caravans apart from the beds. But i wouldnt say that ruin our stay. We loved the location of the site as we could easily pop to the shops and get what we needed, which was very handy. As a family we enjoyed the pool and like all the friendly staff. The staff was always there and would attend to us asap whenever we needed them. I would come again but only if matresses were improved."
Verified Guest - Aug 2019
"The captains quarters had the jacuzzi, which really made it for us, however it lacked some basic things like a dustpan and brush or small hoover (most of the floor was carpeted), or an airer for the wet towels and swimsuits but it did have an iron and ironing board (although lining separate from board), high chair and a portable cot bed! but only one pillow per person, reception said that's all they allow for in the park.

The cleaning was okay but the fans in the bathrooms covered in dust, rim of the bath pink, with a little care this would have been easily sorted. We called maintenance for the main bathroom shower door and they did turn up within the hour but then stood (with work boots, in rainy august), on the mat at the bottom of the bath to fix it.

In the week we were there, 3 caravans around us got moved at various different times, while it was amusing to watch the first time it did wear thin from the jacuzzi and you were just hoping that the bang wasn't anything to do with your car!

We also couldn't find any recycling bins on the site, for such a big site."
Colin - Aug 2019
"Didn't use the pool and have teenage children so didn't attend the entertainment. Caravan was clean and there was even some tea and coffee sachets as well as miniature washing up liquid, sponge and tea towel ready for our arrival. Location was ok, a bit of a drive to most of the tourist attractions but Morrison's supermarket is only 5mins drive away and local cinema on the seafront is cheap."
Hayley - Aug 2019
"Nice cozy caravan not to close to the club house not to noisy where we were."
Kim - Aug 2019
"They upgraded us in a gold caravan nearer facilities very nice"
Susan - Aug 2019
"I was given a sub let which I wasn't too happy about as it wasn't the best looked after. I let staff know of faults and they tried their best to rectify. Apart from that we had a great time and would highly recommend to friends and family"
Joanne - Aug 2019
"Caravan and outside the holiday park was fantastic!
The people the resort and the facilities are not enough for the park size!
Would not be returning, will definitely not recommend to family or friends."
Denise - Aug 2019
"Would love to go again sometime soon"
Nicola - Jun 2019
"Great weekend retreat"
Janet - Jun 2019
"As I said before its just a lovely site clean and always kept tidy ."
John - May 2019
"Overall a lovely, clean holiday with helpful staff just slightly disappointed that the majority of the arcade machines not working. Other than that no fault it was lovely and enjoyable Although I didnt like that we were put in a disabled caravan, the shower in there was horrible, it leaked all over the floor and had to have it on low from stopping the bathroom flooding."
Megan - Apr 2019
"Caravan could have had hangers in wardrobe and some hooks for coats but overall very good."
Susan - Apr 2019
"All in all good value , clean caravan good entertainment friendly staff,"
John - Apr 2019
"Not the best holiday weve had. I was glad we paid extra for the Captains Quaters lodge as this was the nicest thing on the site.
The site is well equipped but very small. We went swimming once with our 2 young children (a 4 year old and 7 month old) but the lifeguards were a bit OTT which put us on edge and we didnt feel like we could have fun. We wanted to go to the club but buggies werent allowed inside so we didnt bother, I dont understand how this can appeal to families if youre restricted with a baby in tow. The coffee in the cafe was awful, we didnt try any of the food as we spent most of the time off the site.
It was a great location to go off exploring, North Wales was absolutely stunning, just a shame the on site amenities werent bigger. All the staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful, the guys checking our hot tub daily were brilliant chatting to our 4 year old."
Kimberley - Oct 2018
"Was a great holiday everything on sight so if you dont want to go out it's great."
Tracey - Aug 2022
"We loved it will be booking again x"
Price - Aug 2022
"Fantastic well worth the money had a lovely time"
Michelle - Aug 2022
"Had a fantastic time.everything you need in one place."
Paul - Aug 2022
"Good clean park nice people and nice caravan would come again"
Verified Guest - Aug 2022
"A good affordable holiday for the family, kids had a good time, It is directed more towards the younger children as my 13year old only had the pool that she was interested in, Pool is lovely and had chairs where you can sit and relax and watch the kids If you don't want to get in, Only thing is very little staff in the pool area, I went to book us in for the pool for the next day but there were no staff at all, so had to come back the next day Over all it is a nice place to holiday, staff are friendly and the molibe homes are perfect for the family"
