Weston Wood Lodges Reviews

"We had a really good week and I love the hot tub everyday in the comfort of your own space!"
Gordon - Oct 2019
"Reasonably pricd for a weekend away - was fantastic chilled relaxed weekend, ventured out a few times but just enjoyed the break in the cabin & hot tub. Drove into Chellaston for essentialls which is about 5 minute from the park.

This is our 2nd hoeseasons break and havent been disappointed yet, were off to Scotland for our next one!!"
Natalie - Mar 2019
"It was amazing my family really enjoyed the whole experience we couldn't of asked for a better place to be so relaxed so once again thankyou and we will be booking again next year x"
Vanessa - Nov 2018
"Lovely large 2 bed lodge, linen was clean and fresh as was the towels on bath robes. Welcome gift was a nice treat also and the hot tube was ready to use. Only down sides were : no hand soap, no tea towels or dish cloths/sponge, no oven gloves or baking trays for oven."
Emma - Jul 2018

"Went with friends for birthday celebrations.
Enjoyed relaxing in beautiful countryside. Lots of fresh air. It didn't matter if it was not good weather as the hot tub was always hot."
Karen - Jul 2017
"Overall it was lovely, although stating it was a lodge it was more of a deluxe caravan that looked like a lodge from the outside it was still brilliant value for money, i would still come again and reccomend this to others!"
Confirmed Guest - Jun 2017
"Beautiful location and lovely lodge!"
Amanda - Jun 2017
"I had a phone conversation with someone called Susan prior to arriving and her manner was very stand offish. It actually prompted us to try and change accommodation but we weren't able to.
The lodge itself was faultless. We really enjoyed it, and the location was great.
The only issue we had was that we chose this location because we had access to the onsite gym. However to use the gym it would have cost us £15 each which was extortionate for just one session!"
Lisa - Jan 2017
"Upgraded to the executive lodge as the Oakwood wS not up to scratch. Glad I upgraded as it made a difference."
Brian - Nov 2016
"Lodge was clean and tidy, Good value for money."
Elysia - Oct 2016
"It was a nice location with nice and clean log cabins and the hot tub was fantastic!"
Philip - Aug 2016
"One of bed was in bad conditions. The mattress was old."
Erika - Jun 2016
"I would definitely return here."
Bernadette - May 2016
"Blissful tranquil 4 days of absolute heaven. Highly recommend"
Sharon - Mar 2016
"Literally just got back and what an amazing time we had, stayed in the valentines lodge which was tremendous. Everything you need is there except the food obviously. The hot tub was out of this world and just outside the back door. We didn't even have to wash up as there was a dishwasher. Didn't need the radiators on at all as the fire's in the bedroom and living room were brilliant. There's no shop or anything on site which was perfect as that's how we wanted it . the nearest town is 5 minute's down the road in the car or maybe a 20 minute walk which there is a post office/shop and a couple of pubs. All in all absolutely amazing break and can't wait for the next one there. By the way the person who left the bad review don't read too much into it as yes the back door was stiff but not a problem, the settee was a bit worn but was not a problem."
Mario - Mar 2016
"Perfect! Such a cozy little lodge for me and my partner to spend quality time together, relax and have a quiet week away. The furniture and all of the facilities provided were of a good standard and were my taste exactly. Everything that was needed for cooking etc was provided but I would have liked some anti bacterial spray and maybe a mop to tidy up after ourselves after dinner and when we left. Only downside is some of the pots were a little messy from the previous people who stayed in the lodge but we didn't mind as we put them back in the dishwasher :) apart from that we felt like we were the first people to ever stay in the lodge, very clean and modern. Amazing value for money and the hot tub was the icing on the cake, so warm and relaxing for us both. Wish we could have stayed longer and the departure time was later. We will definitely return to the Valentine lodge again."
Jade - Nov 2015
"would have given value for money 10, but thought the price was to very high due to it being school hols
the following week was 3/4 of the price !!"
Yvette - Oct 2015
"Had a lovely time. Very clean. Loved the hot tub. Shame we couldn't get in until after 4pm after a long drive from Scotland & Dorset to meet family. Would come come again though. Thank you"
Annette - Oct 2015
"A strange park part residential part holiday lodges but we had a lovely weekend booked at very short notice. There is not much on site but there are some really nice walks and cycle ways. We found a wonderful pub about 20 mins walk away good beer and even better food maybe a little pricey but worth every penny.Only one minor hitch we could not use hot tub on arrival because it was cold it did not spoil stay and we will definitely go there again.

The pub is called The Coopers Arms"
Andrew - Oct 2015
"Great relaxing holiday"
Andrea - Oct 2015
"Lovely long weekend good base to travel from .Cabin was beautiful and the hot tub fantastic thanks will come again"
Chris - Sep 2015
"Lovely accommodation. Great hot tub. Looking to go back already!!"
Jan - Aug 2015
"Lodge was very nice with very private hot tub. Things that let it down were dirty windows, lots of cobwebs, wobbly tables and carpet that required shampooing, things that can easily be rectified. I would question that whether or not the lodge is suitable for 6 people though as there was only a 2 seater settee and 1 chair. I wouldn't let this put me off staying here again though and would request the same lodge."
Karen - Jul 2015
"Fabulous lodge. ..just a dodgy tv reception. ..otherwise brilliant. ..loved the hot tub and bath..."
Joanne - Jul 2015
"The cabin was great along with all it came with. We had a little trouble with getting the dishwasher to work but that was a minor set back in what was a great stay. I will be back again."
