Situated deep within the unspoilt countryside of Shropshire, this exclusive and peaceful site provides an idyllic rural retreat. We recommend Woodland Park Lodges to families looking for somewhere to relax and couples seeking a romantic escape.

The site is located just a few minutes from the charming lakeside town of Ellesmere. Here visitors will find a selection of shops, cafes and pubs. Shropshire is considered to be the green heart of England and walking and cycling are excellent ways to explore. Snowdonia National Park is also within reach offering easy access to numerous outdoor pursuits. Back onsite there is an adventure playground for children and a clubhouse.

There are several types of lodge to choose from, but the VIP lodges are the ones to go for if a private hot tub is desirable. Cedar Lodge VIP and Elm Lodge VIP both sleep 6 and are perfect for families or groups. Oak Lodge VIP sleep 8 and are a good option for larger parties as they are very spacious. All lodges are very well equipped for self catering and have all the mod cons including flat screen TVs. Many of the lodges have beautiful woodland views from the hot tubs.

Our Top Tip
"Discover Snowdonia National Park on foot or cycle, the scenery is stunning."

We had a lovely week over Christmas, The hot tub was fun

Overall the Log Cabin was well maintained and all amenities were very good.

The provision of a Christmas tree was a nice touch

Wifi not too good, if you need fast speed wifi while away this is not the place to be. We

didn't mind too much, however.

leather sofa- normal for rentals I know - but not the most snug on a winter evening
TV reception poor and intermittent - recommend you bring DVDs .

Lodge was amazing, we got upgraded to a lodge with a hot tub as it was vacant and they Said our kids would enjoy it- they loved it. Exactly what we needed, no hustle and bustle to just relax and take the dog for a walk in the forest. Would definitely go again

We spent Christmas at these lodges. Lovely and peaceful surroundings - clean lodge , big fridge and good supply of cooking items for preparing Christmas dinner. Staff very friendly and helpful. There is a short woodland walk in the grounds. Car drop off point very crowded at check out time. Long narrow track drive into the grounds Radiator lights very bright - needed to switch them off at night.

Jessica
Very comfortable, and great for a few days of winding down.
Charlotte
We had a fantastic time at the lodge. It was a perfect size for three couples because it had three double rooms whereas usually lodges have a bunk room. The two bathrooms meant no one was ever waiting too long for a shower after a big walk. And of course the dogs loved it too!
Susan
Fab log cabins, clean, tidy, nice setting. Cabin was lovely and warm on our arrival, very inviting, plenty of kitchen equipment everything we needed for a lovely weekend. Will defibately be booking again x thank you x
