Stylish and modern are two words which best describe these gorgeous lodges in Hambleton, Lancashire.  Sunset Park brings together a range of well designed lodges in a countryside setting, really making the most of the Fylde countryside.

Families will love these lodges as there's a children's play area on site as well as a clubhouse with entertainment too.  And of course the location is perfect, as just ten minutes away you'll find Blackpool and all the fun attractions there.

Couples too will love the idyllic and relaxing setting of Sunset Park and the fantastic facilities on offer.  The fishing lakes are a unique aspect of this park and you can fish on site if you have a NRA licence.

The Oak Lodge sleeps up to 6 and has a luxury interior design and open plan living.  The outside decking houses a private hot tub - the icing on the cake!  The Mallard Lodge which sleeps 4 is another great choice, offering private hot tub and the added bonus of lake views.

We stayed in the Poplar Lodge for 3 nights in April. It was clean and well-equipped. A very efficient central heating system was put to good use due to the rather chilly weather! The hot tub was fab and well maintained by staff (the water was checked every day).

caravan was very comfortable...except mattress in double room. Could feel every spring ha. Vents in kitchen were quite clogged up, other than that, perfect.

The lodge itself was lovely and clean, only minor issues we had was the microwave button was broken and couldn't find the oven manual so took a while to work out. Other than that we had a wonderful weekend away and would definitely return.

We arrived on a frosty January night and the caravan was lovely and warm for our arrival. Spotlessly clean and a good range of kitchen equipment. We were comfy and cosy for the whole stay.

We stayed in the Sunset Deluxe Lodge. It was absolutely lovely. Very clean and up to date. Even down to the accessories in the cupboards/drawers. Lodge was very warm when we arrived which was brilliant as it was freezing outside. Didn't use the bbq/seating area as we were out and about a lot. The hot tub was lovely. And extremely clean. Only downside to the lodge was having to walk off the decking and down the side of the lodge and round to the hot tub. Rather than having a gate and a couple of steps down into the garden area. It was everything I wanted for a relaxed birthday weekend away.

Everything about it was fantastic except my children were too big for the third bedroom. Will just have to be careful about that when booking my next holiday
Myself, my husband, my 17 year old son and 13 year old daughter along with our little dog had a lovely 3 day break away for my 40th birthday at Sunset Holiday Village. It was wonderful in the hot tub and the site itself was very peaceful and everyone we spoke to were friendly and polite. The staff in the Puddled Duck restaurant/bar were also very friendly and helpful. We look forward to visiting again.
This was a great little retreat away from the hustle and bustle of blackpool centre.Nice accomadation and near too many places to explore!!!
Lovely caravan. Clean on arrival with plenty fresh towels and bedding made up. Could do with a better soft play area and other things for children to play with but thats getting to nitty gritty. Other than that a lovely place to stay for a weekend.
Staff at the puddled duck were brilliant and service was 10 out 10.
Could of done with a shop on site
The caravan was spotless, staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The only thing I can mark them down on was the childrens indoor play area was disappointing and could do with an update.
What a great find the staff were fantastic the caravan was perfect and the site it's self was really really nice this was a nice little gem of a site we found.
We had a lovely 4 days break. The lodge was well equiped and comfortable x
My only real bug bear was that when checking in you had to give bank details. Like the long number on your card and the security code. They promised to destroy it afterwards but really did make me wary about firstly my bank details been available to members of staff (I like to think everyone is honest but it's not always the case) and secondly I actually took photos of the whole lodge before we left because I felt if they took those details they could maybe be the kind of company that will charge you for any minor fault in the lodge. Fortunately nothing bad seems to have happened but still, it was on my mind the whole time we were there. I feel it's in a good location if you fancy a trip to Blackpool. The site is extremely quiet and relaxing. Didnt try the food or anything. We went for a drink in the bar and was reasonably priced.
We were a large group who were really well catered for. We had a great time

Fun Days Out near Sunset Holiday Village

Happy Mount Park - about 13 Miles
Happy Mount Park has attractions for the whole family including several play areas, a miniature railway, crazy golf, putting green and trampolines, there is also a paddling pool where the little ones can splash around in the summer and a café where the adults can relax with a drink. During the summer months and especially during school holidays live music can often be enjoyed.
Bowland Wild Boar Park - about 16 Miles
Head for the Bowland Wild Boar park and we don't think you will be disappointed.  A popular attraction in Preston there is so much to do for the whole family.  From picnics, walks and wildlife to experiencing feeding the animals you are sure to have a memorable day out.  Also popular is the kids tractor play area.  For rest and relaxation the cafe is ideal serving hot drinks and snacks with a lovely view over the pond and wildlife feeding station.  The Forest of Bowland has been declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
South Lakes Safari Zoo - about 21 Miles

This is an amazing Cumbria attraction well known locally as well as nationally for how close you can get to the animals.  Described as the most interactive animal park in Europe it's well worth a visit if you are staying in the area.  Open from April to end October some of the highlights are the tigers, penguins, bears, hippos and rhinos.  At 2pm during certain seasons it's feeding time so don't forget to plan your day around this so you can watch the animals enjoying their feed.  Look out for seasonal events such as Halloween Zoo Boo (free entry for kids in fancy dress) and The Magic of Christmas.

Lakeland's Wildlife Oasis - about 22 Miles
Here at the Wildlife Oasis you can really get up close to the animals and experience a mix of exotic wildlife and hand son displays.  See butterflies, birds and even bats flying around.  You don't have to plan your visit according to weather either with the tropical hall and butterfly house undercover.  Sunny days are ideal for some of the inhabitants however with the monkeys and Lemurs loving to sunbathe.  The mission of Lakeland's Wildlife Oasis is to engender and foster an interest and appreciation of the natural world which, in our belief underpins wildlife conservation; and, where possible to contribute and encourage contribution to the conservation of wildlife and wild places.  You know that you are helping with this mission if you choose to visit.
