Poachers was a good lodge but needs a bit of updating and the blinds in the bathroom need taking down as they were rather dirty.

Curtains a little dated, sofas don't match cushions very fusty. Dusty on top of every bit of furniture. Furniture stuck together with super glue witnesses the work man putting a chair back together with glue in lodge next door to us.
Excellent long weekend.
Wonderful setting lovely lodge
Had a great time at Griffin, gardeners lodge was wonderful and facilities were great. Hot tub amazing, lovely to be sat in if an evening and seeing the badgers walk by!
It was the third time I have stayed at Griffon Forest and it just gets better and better. This time I booked for our wedding anniversary so the romantic setting was ideal. We took feed for the birds (as we always do) and was delighted when we had a woodpecker visit us twice. What we hadn't bargained for was the badgers... What a delight we had three badgers visit us every evening (they loved peanut butter sandwiches). We will be booking again, we have stayed at other lodges but nothing has compared to Griffon in the seclusion and peacefulness of the site.
excellent location and superb lodge
Fantastic!! Great Location in the Forest, Great Wildlife, Badgers, Squirrels, Birds Ect, Total Chill Out!! Back again in June
Lovely lodges , I’ve stayed in the poachers which is beautiful and has a real romantic feel and a gardeners lodge which was also very nice . Visited a few times now and will definitely be going again
