About Jamies Cragg Holiday Park

Close to bustling market towns, pretty villages and the stunning Yorkshire Moors, Jamies Cragg Holiday Park is a superb location for a secluded, relaxing break. It's a few minutes' walk from the River Derwent, 20 minutes drive from York, and there's a beautiful woodland walk just behind the park. There are also some really good local pubs within easy reach.

There are a number of really lovely picnic spots around the park - and plenty of river and lake fishing. The village of Welburn has loads of interesting shops, pubs and a delightful Artisan bakery. Castle Howard is just a few miles away and there's lots to do in York, including a visit to Sutton Park and York Minster, England's largest Gothic church.

These contemporary lodges have outdoor hot tubs and are well designed and spacious. Limestone Lodge sleeps four - it has one double bedroom with ensuite, a twin room, shower room and a light and airy open plan living/dining/kitchen area. Patio doors lead to a verandah with a private hot tub and garden furniture.

Plan some great days out in North Yorkshire. York Dungeons certainly aren't for the faint-hearted, set in dark, musty cellars with life size tableaux of deaths and persecutions!

"The setees in living area were to soft very low down
The lodge was warm and spacious plenty of room for the 4 of us
Even though the traffic noise was the downside, we would go back if we got a good deal on it
The outside areas were big aswel
If it was summer we would of loved to sit out side on the big decking,
Special mention to the guy looking after our hot tub very nice man very friendly"

"All fantastic, the only downside is where it is situated on the park. If it was further away from the road it would be perfect!"

"Loved the hot tub and the barbecue area, really clean, staff were really friendly, would go back again"
Jacqueline - May 2018
"fabulous cabin and great price. we could have stayed longer!
staff were very helpful, we had a problem with the hot tub on the first night, even though we let the warden know out of hours, it was sorted straight away and re-filled and hot enough to use by lunch time the following day.
only slight down fall was the busy main road as the cabin is right at the top of the park, maybe get some more conifers or big trees in to block the noise abit more :-) but id certainly book here again."
Kelly - May 2018
"Fantastic accommodation. Extremely spacious, with all appliances and little touches you could ever need. Very modern and clean. Hot tub was amazing. Would 100% recommend!"
Daniel - Mar 2018
"Fantastic lodge , great facilities! Within easy reach of York and the coastal towns of Scarborough and Whitby! A little close to the road although the noise was minimal and didnt disturb us ... will be returning again"
Jill - Jan 2018
"Great place to relax.really enjoyed hot tub"
David - Dec 2017
"Lovely lodge - all you could need for a relaxing break away"
Nicola - Sep 2017
"Great lodge. Not enough glasses etc for 6 people. There was only 2 wine glasses and 2 champagne flutes."
Sam - Sep 2017
"Limestone lodge was very well equipped and lovely to stay in, could do with more doing to the outside (side of lodge) as it is currently mud and bark
Overall great though"
Mark - Jul 2017
"The lodge was clean, well equipped and comfortable. It was surrounded by trees with a great hot tub and outdoor eating area. It is also in a good place for visiting the surrounding area. The only downside for us was the traffic noise. The lodge is situated 50 yards from the busy A64 so there is no escaping the traffic noise which is almost constant. We book lodges hopefully to have some peace and tranquillity and sadly this was not the case. So purely for this reason we wouldn't return."
David - Jul 2017
"There was a tv in every bedroom and the front room, there was also a DVD player in the living room.
The two twin bedrooms are lovely and the beds can be pushed together to make a double, the main bathroom was very spacious and had a bath and shower. The main bedroom was lovely with an en-suite bathroom and heated towel rail.
The beds are very comfy and at the start of your stay there was fresh towels on each bed and clean bedding. These were not changed throughout our stay but it really didn't bother us. And if you wanted clean towels there is a washing machine outside.
Overall I can't really complain about anything other than the wine cooler being broken and the oven being gas which I wasn't used to, however these aren't major things and wouldn't put me off going back here.
There is also a lovely working electric fire in the front room and central heating."
Hannah - Jun 2017
"Beautiful lodge with everything you could need for a home from home holiday. The kitchen was fully equipped, the hot tub well maintained and the beds extremely comfortable."
Karen - Jun 2017
"Fantastic we will be back again"

Ellis - May 2017
"Lovely lodge every thing you need"
Carl - Mar 2017
"A perfect get away for relaxing or sightseeing
Have already booked the accommodation again"
