We think you'll love these fantastic luxurious lodges; they are beautifully furnished and set in idyllic woodland on the banks of the River Fechlin, at the heart of the Highlands. The views are simply breathtaking - there are stunning mountains, sparkling lochs and dark forests to explore on the South Loch Ness Trail, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Fort Augustus and Inverness are within easy driving distance and there is a wealth of facilities to enjoy.

Wildside Highland Lodges are close to a local country hotel that serves food and takeaway pizzas, plus there is the option of having gourmet food delivered to your lodge and even hiring your own exclusive chef if you're celebrating a special occasion. There are outdoor games like giant Jenga and draughts, a good outdoor adventure play area, free DVD hire and free fishing.

All the lodges here represent the height of luxury but we particularly like Tomatin Lodge. It's extremely spacious with a master double and one single room and has an open plan living area with kitchen and diner. You can make the most of all weathers with a wood burning stove for the chilly nights and your own private hot tub with amazing views of the River Fechlin and the surrounding mountains for the warmer evenings.

The South Loch Ness Trail takes in seven lochs and stretches for 28 miles between Loch Tarff to Troutbeck with several viewpoints where you can take in the magical Loch Ness. Urquhart Castle in Drumnadrochit is a historical ruin that overlooks Loch Ness and is embedded in local folklore and legend.

Our Top Tip
"No visit to Scotland would be complete with a visit to a distillery and at Tomatin, you can take a tour of one of the highest distilleries in the country, at 315 metres above sea level."

If it wasn't so far we would come several times a year all for the quietness and wild life
A fabulous place to stay. Beautiful lodges furnished to a very high standard with a relaxing hot tub. The staff will go out of their way to see to your every need. The surrounding area is stunning with an abundance of wildlife.
Had a wonderful first year wedding anniversary with my husband at wildside highland lodges. The cabin was beautiful and we looked out on to a mountain, the staff showed us how everything worked and told us about some nice walks and things to see on our break. The hot tub was divine and so easy to use, we spent most of our break relaxing in the hot tub! We would definitely recommend wildside highland lodges and hope to be back on the future!
Great lodge, great location, great staff will be returning again.
Second visit to Wildside. Can't fault it ! The location the lodges the staff all fantastic. Perfect place to go to get away from it all.
Amazing place, lodge was immaculate. Perfect place to get away for a well needed relaxed break!
My husband and I stayed three nights and it was wonderful! The lodge was clean and tidy and very cosy with the log fire and the hottub was brilliant! There was even a pack of shortbread and a little bottle of whiskey sat on our kitchen on arrival! The staff were really helpful and super friendly and the places around the lodge are gorgeous!!
Had a wonderfull, relaxing 4 nights stay with friends. If you want/like piece, quiet & solitude and/or like to explore, there's plenty to see & do in the area. Evenings in the hot tub were a very relaxing experience, especially if the sky was clear allowing you to star gaze. The large, 2 story lodge we were in was very clean, comfortable & very well equiped. We will definitely be going back again. Highly recommended.
Second time there, very relaxing, we will return in the future.
Nice lodge hot tub good surroundings good
Everything exceeded our expectations. Perfection
