Location: Inverness Shire » Whitebridge Nr Loch Ness
We think you'll love these fantastic luxurious lodges; they are beautifully furnished and set in idyllic woodland on the banks of the River Fechlin, at the heart of the Highlands. The views are simply breathtaking - there are stunning mountains, sparkling lochs and dark forests to explore on the South Loch Ness Trail, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Fort Augustus and Inverness are within easy driving distance and there is a wealth of facilities to enjoy.
Wildside Highland Lodges are close to a local country hotel that serves food and takeaway pizzas, plus there is the option of having gourmet food delivered to your lodge and even hiring your own exclusive chef if you're celebrating a special occasion. There are outdoor games like giant Jenga and draughts, a good outdoor adventure play area, free DVD hire and free fishing.
All the lodges here represent the height of luxury but we particularly like Tomatin Lodge. It's extremely spacious with a master double and one single room and has an open plan living area with kitchen and diner. You can make the most of all weathers with a wood burning stove for the chilly nights and your own private hot tub with amazing views of the River Fechlin and the surrounding mountains for the warmer evenings.
The South Loch Ness Trail takes in seven lochs and stretches for 28 miles between Loch Tarff to Troutbeck with several viewpoints where you can take in the magical Loch Ness. Urquhart Castle in Drumnadrochit is a historical ruin that overlooks Loch Ness and is embedded in local folklore and legend. No visit to Scotland would be complete with a visit to a distillery and at Tomatin, you can take a tour of one of the highest distilleries in the country, at 315 metres above sea level.

Wonderful place for peace and quiet, beautiful Lodges.
Could not get better or more helpful staff anywhere.
Next year will be out 3rd year and I'am already looking forward to it.!
A short break just after xmas and new year was just what we needed to recharge the batteries, some long nights spent in front of the log fire and also was really good looking at the stars in the hottub.
Its all been said 10 out of 10 for everything
Perfect don't charge anything apart from adding a contact phone as if there is a problem there is no mobile signal

Loved the red deer Tomatin lodge. Lovely views down towards the river and privacy in the hot tub. The weather was quite clear when we were there so we had a few starry evenings in the tub. Loved the layout and position. Perfect for a romantic getaway. As usual spotlessly clean and friendly staff. Definately will be back again next year.
wood-burning stove a real novelty and lodge is luxury from end to end. you won;t be disappointed. had friends visit us while there and they were open-mouthed at the quality of the lodge and the surroundings. loved the well-stocked bird-table and the wildlife it attracted. we had a deer, a hare, pheasants and partridges visist us.
Otter lodge is lovely. So cosy. Secluded setting down by the river. So relaxing.

lodge has everything in it that you could want or ask for, they are very well equipped. the only negative is I would have liked a bigger sofa but apart from my own personal view everything else is exceptional.

Fantastic place, lovely people, nothing was too much trouble. Will go back !!
The setting is beautiful as is the surrounding area; the accommodation wonderful; the staff efficient and friendly but not obtrusive; overall a thorough restful holiday for those who seek it or one which provides access to a wide variety of activities for all ages.
Wildside Lodges are amazing - completly remote and peaceful. Lodges are well-kept, spotless and very warm & comfortable. Scenery is amazing. Nearby wildlife is magical.
Very peaceful and tranquil location with magnificent views
We would absolutely recommend Wildside. The lodges are lovely and good value for money. The location is beautiful and the locals were so welcoming. The kids loved it and my daughter (aged 4) has announced that she is going to live there when she's grown up! We look forward to returning if you'll have us.
