Hengar Manor Country Park
Hengar Manor sits in the heart of the glorious Cornish countryside close to the beaches and stunning coastline of North Cornwall. A proud holder of the David Bellamy Silver Award for Conservation the park is superbly situated for exploring the numerous attractions of the area such as the world famous Eden Project.
A delightful Manor House (parts of which date back to the 17th century) is at the centre of the 35 acre park and home to a family friendly café bar and pizza and pasta restaurant – a perfect place to relax at any time of day.
Fantastic facilities ensure there's something to suit everyone – from swimming and children's clubs to sports and entertainment. Or for the ultimate in relaxation spoil yourself with a sauna, holistic massage treatment or work out in the new mini gym.

A lovely few days spent in a lovely area
Waterside cabin was really nice good location with views of Lake and hot tub was amazing , near to beaches and local villages definitely need a car though to explore, the only downside was price of food in on site pub/restaurant a bit pricey for families
Very nice time when we was here would tell my family and friends to go hope to go again very soon 😀
Change of experience in term of spending hols such as Christmas away from home
We had a lovely week at Christmas, my Grand-daughter said it was the Best Christmas ever.
Yet another fantastic Christmas holiday here staff are delightful always go above and beyond to help beautiful location only thing missing indoor play area
Best place we have been too, we couldn't find any fault with anything the staff very helpful, ideal spot for walking and very central for going off for the day,
We stayed over the Christmas period 2017, and have already booked for Christmas 2018. We had 1 small issue with the hot tub while we were there, I rang reception, and somebody was there to deal with it within 10 minutes.
Hengar Manor Country Park is very quiet and friendly and has everything most people need for a holiday.
It's just North of Bodmin in Cornwall and very close to all the major sightseeing places in Cornwall. Plymouth is 1 hour drive to the East and Penzance and Lands End is 1 hour drive to the West. Eden Project is a 10 minute drive.
Great place helpful staff, But not a lot of entertainment (But it was November) there was entertainment Saturday evening
Brilliant place only issue I had hot tub was not warm so couldn’t use it the first night this was disappointing as we only stayed for 2 nights! But lovely place my lodge was very clean spacious and warm
Tintagel Castle is one of the most iconic landmarks in Cornwall and is an excellent place for a family day out. Situated on the stunning Cornish Coast the Castle has a mystical and magical presence and is steeped in historical importance. Indeed the Legend of King Arthur was born right here. The Castle and grounds also provide a home for many species of wildlife as well as some amazing flora and fauna. The site also has a small visitor's centre with souvenir shop and a wonderful Beach Café.
The Eden Project is a fantastic local attraction in Cornwall which will appeal to families and couples. From the moment you step through the entrance it's clear that this is no ordinary attraction. All under one roof you will find a giant rainforest, Horticulture courses, rock climbing, ice skating and an arts cafe. Not all of these activities are on at one time, they are staggered throughout the year so check out the website to see what's available when you plan to visit. Autumn at Eden is very popular with events such as daily apple pressing and Time Changing Tales (story telling with an autumn theme).
Trethrone Leisure Park in Cornwall is a popular choice for a family day out and offers an excellent programme of activities for children all year round. The park has a farm area where younger kids will love feeding the lambs and other friendly animals. Pony rides, a large play area, ball pool; trampolines and crazy golf are also available.
Springfields Fun Park & Pony Centre offers a day full of action and adventure for all the family come rain or shine. If the weather is good then children can take advantage of the vast open space to run around and play, enjoy pony rides, train rides, trampolines and Go-Karts and explore the nature trails. If the weather is not on your side then the huge play barn is the place to head and as climbing frames, slides, ball pool and rope swings as well as a baby and toddler area.
