Evernia is a fantastic lodge, spotlessly clean and so cosy. It is so peaceful and quiet just perfect for a romantic getaway. We especially loved the hot tub on the decking which overlooks the the park but is still really private. There are only 5 lodges and they are well spaced out. We will definitely return to Springwood Lodges and would choose Evernia again although we would happily stay in any of the lodges.

This is the fourth lodge out of the five that we have stayed in on site, whilst all slightly different, they are all of a very high standard and are set in a wonderful peaceful location.

our first visit to springwood and skovarel. spacious but cosy and everything we needed, even a selection of Cds, DVDs and books. hot tub sauna and squirrels for company.... perfect. welcome prosecco and chocolates. the owners have got it 100%. dont change a thing!
This was our first visit to Springwood Lodges, we stayed in Sneugle and it was wonderful! We needed a break away from the rat race and this place was absolutely perfect, it is a hidden gem. Everything about it is lovely, we enjoyed the hot tub and the sauna was an added bonus. The wild bird feeders attracted lots of different birds and we even had a pheasant that would come and take food from you. As soon as we arrived home we booked again for a future stay. We would highly recommend Springwood Lodges if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway.
This was one of the most relaxing venues we have every stayed at an will visit the venue again (already booked)
Excellant location. Lovely relaxing few days. Perfect place to stay for peace and quiet. Would recommend.
this lodge is in a beautiful setting, it was lovely and peaceful in the hot tub watching the birds, there is a sauna which is easy to use, and the complimentary prosecco and chocs went down well, the lodge was very clean no cobwebs!
Stayed in the Evernia lodge and can’t explain enough how cosy and comfortable it was. Sauna and hot tub were lovely. The whole stay was brilliant and the lodge so clean
Stayed at Springwood Lodges many times now and never been disappointed.
perfect, but a little expensive for 4 nights
Great break for two. Well-equipped lodge, clear instructions, great sauna and hot tub.
Just love it there
Our fourth stay in a year. We love Springwood Lodges. Peaceful, relaxing and comfortable.

Fun Days Out near Springwood Lodges

Fountains Abbey - about 6 Miles
This is an outstanding world heritage site located close to Ripon in the North Yorkshire area. Nature lovers will be in their element with an abundance of wide open spaces to explore and there are special guided tours for families.  Some of the highlights may include seeing wild deer and bats during your visit.  The grounds are fantastic to wander round but there is also an Elizabethan Mansion, Victorian Church, Georgian Water Garden and the finest example of Cistercian Abbey ruins in the country - Well worth a visit!
Lightwater Valley - about 10 Miles
Situated in the Ripon area of North Yorkshire this popular theme park makes a fantastic day out for the whole family.  The more daring will love the big and thrilling rides such as Raptor Attack, The Ultimate and Trauma Tower.  For the little ones there are some excellent attractions such as Flying Camels, Dodgems and a Magic Wheel.  Toddlers will like the Dragon Boats and the Lightwater Express amongst other things. There are over 40 rides and attractions in total and we think this is excellent value for money too.  If you book your tickets in advance online you can save even more money and beat the queues.
Big Sheep - about 16 Miles
This is a recommended day out for families with young children visiting the Bedale area of Yorkshire.  Visit the farm and receive a warm welcome as well as a guided tour.  You will have the chance to bottle feed the lambs, bath a pig and handle some of the smaller animals.  Kids will love the big sandpit and the outdoor play area. There is also a cafe and indoor play area for when the weather is not on your side.
