Set in beautiful countryside on a working farm in Somerset, these modern lodges are just a 20 minute drive from Glastonbury with the stunning Mendip Hills within easy reach. There are many historic places to visit - Glastonbury Tor, the city of Wells and the stalactite caverns of Cheddar Gorge - plus a wealth of pretty walking routes and local pubs close by.

Relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings from your outdoor hot tub, pop to the well-stocked farm shop on site to buy local produce or indulge in a bit of wild swimming in the river at the pretty village of West Lydford. The striking ruins of Glastonbury Abbey sit within 36 acres of parkland with a museum, picnic areas and a cider orchard - perfect for a day trip.

New Oaks Lodge sleeps four people and has one double bedroom with ensuite and one twin room. There's a bath with overhead shower and a spacious open plan lounge/kitchen area. Patio doors lead out onto the decking where you can relax in the hot tub and enjoy the spectacular views across the Somerset countryside.

For a great day out, had to the Wookey Hole Caves and see if you can spot the infamous Witch of Wookey! There's lots for the kids to do, including a Magical Mirror Maze, superb play areas and stunning rock formations.

Our Top Tip
"Enjoy live music, real ales and Somerset ciders at the King Arthur pub in Glastonbury or head to Burnham-on-Sea to enjoy the sandy beaches."

We stayed for Christmas 2017 and had a lovely time.
Laura, Gary and family were extremely lovely, and could not be more accommodating, even bringing a high chair and travel cot up to our lodge the evening we arrived(as I forgot to request it up on booking our stay) and setting it all up for us.
The lodge was very contemporary and clean and even decorated in Christmas decorations upon arrival with Christmas cakes, they even left us a Christmas card on our doorstep Christmas day with chocolates (which was a lovely touch).
The location and surroundings were amazing and so peaceful. Spending Christmas eve in the hot tub whilst over looking fields of countryside was so beautiful!
I truly could not recommend this place highly enough.

Truly amazing! My partner and I stayed here Monday-Friday and had such an amazing time. Gary met us on arrival and showed us around the lodge and went through the information book with us. There was a lovely slice of lemon drizzle cake left out for us and eggs and milk in the fridge. We loved the hot tub and used it every night! So lovely watching the sunset/stargazing whilst relaxing. Lodge was very clean and tidy and the bed was super comfy! New Oaks is outside of a quiet little village but all larger towns are easily accessible by car.

Great place to go for a break away. Great for kids, loads of room to play outdoors. And the hosts took kids to see animals in their farm, they loved it.
Def planning to return.

The lodges at New Oaks Farm are perfect in every way and the owners couldn't be more helpful. I thoroughly recommend these lodges and we'll be going back, if we can get booked in as they are very popular which isn't surprising.

Booked this break very last minute only the evening before ,but everything was ready when we arrived .Gary was very welcoming ,explaining everything we needed to know about the lodge and the farm, also recommended a couple of local pubs which we tried one of them The Cross Keys and have to say food was great. We wanted a quiet relaxing getaway the weekend before Christmas and this was perfect, would definitely recommend

Beautiful lodge in a wonderful location with gorgeous views. Staff were extremely attentive and had thought of everything with regards to our stay. The lodge was very clean, modern, practical and spacious. There had clearly been a lot of thought put in to what guests would like and need during their stay. The hot tub was checked twice a day, which kept up the high standard of New Oaks Farm.
Tim
An extremely comfortable and spotless lodge. We have no hesitation in recommending this park to all. Welcome was great and the cake very welcome. You must visit the Quarry Inn for a wonderful welcome and great food!
