Set in beautiful countryside on a working farm in Somerset, these modern lodges are just a 20 minute drive from Glastonbury with the stunning Mendip Hills within easy reach. There are many historic places to visit - Glastonbury Tor, the city of Wells and the stalactite caverns of Cheddar Gorge - plus a wealth of pretty walking routes and local pubs close by.

Relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings from your outdoor hot tub, pop to the well-stocked farm shop on site to buy local produce or indulge in a bit of wild swimming in the river at the pretty village of West Lydford. The striking ruins of Glastonbury Abbey sit within 36 acres of parkland with a museum, picnic areas and a cider orchard - perfect for a day trip.

New Oaks Lodge sleeps four people and has one double bedroom with ensuite and one twin room. There's a bath with overhead shower and a spacious open plan lounge/kitchen area. Patio doors lead out onto the decking where you can relax in the hot tub and enjoy the spectacular views across the Somerset countryside.

For a great day out, had to the Wookey Hole Caves and see if you can spot the infamous Witch of Wookey! There's lots for the kids to do, including a Magical Mirror Maze, superb play areas and stunning rock formations.

Our Top Tip
"Enjoy live music, real ales and Somerset ciders at the King Arthur pub in Glastonbury or head to Burnham-on-Sea to enjoy the sandy beaches."

Truly amazing! My partner and I stayed here Monday-Friday and had such an amazing time. Gary met us on arrival and showed us around the lodge and went through the information book with us. There was a lovely slice of lemon drizzle cake left out for us and eggs and milk in the fridge. We loved the hot tub and used it every night! So lovely watching the sunset/stargazing whilst relaxing. Lodge was very clean and tidy and the bed was super comfy! New Oaks is outside of a quiet little village but all larger towns are easily accessible by car.

Great place to go for a break away. Great for kids, loads of room to play outdoors. And the hosts took kids to see animals in their farm, they loved it.
Def planning to return.

The lodges at New Oaks Farm are perfect in every way and the owners couldn't be more helpful. I thoroughly recommend these lodges and we'll be going back, if we can get booked in as they are very popular which isn't surprising.

The setting was lovely (on a farm). There are very few lodges on the site, so it is quiet. Laura and Gary couldn't do enough for us to ensure we had a comfortable stay. They even made us sausage rolls in exchange for my I.T. Support! Very modern lodges with hot tubs. I would thoroughly recommend!

wow. what an amazing place and location. considering my partner and I visited at the end of October, the weather was gorgeous and only a little rain during the night. hot tub, facilities and the helpfulness of the owners laura and Gary was all top notch. I even ordered food from their farm such as sausages bacon steaks. do try their steaks! I could cut it with a butter knife. anyways overall we had a brilliant time. after the 4 half hour journey getting there we was welcomed with eggs milk and cake which was lovely. thank you Laura and Gary for such a pleasant stay. I wish to visit again. Rachael and Adam from Bolton.

Well if you want peace and quiet this is the place to be. We came here for a short break and perfect in every way... The only thing you may have to consider that if there is a family at this stay it will become very un-quiet quickly..
Sammy
