Set in beautiful countryside on a working farm in Somerset, these modern lodges are just a 20 minute drive from Glastonbury with the stunning Mendip Hills within easy reach. There are many historic places to visit - Glastonbury Tor, the city of Wells and the stalactite caverns of Cheddar Gorge - plus a wealth of pretty walking routes and local pubs close by.

Relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings from your outdoor hot tub, pop to the well-stocked farm shop on site to buy local produce or indulge in a bit of wild swimming in the river at the pretty village of West Lydford. The striking ruins of Glastonbury Abbey sit within 36 acres of parkland with a museum, picnic areas and a cider orchard - perfect for a day trip.

New Oaks Lodge sleeps four people and has one double bedroom with ensuite and one twin room. There's a bath with overhead shower and a spacious open plan lounge/kitchen area. Patio doors lead out onto the decking where you can relax in the hot tub and enjoy the spectacular views across the Somerset countryside.

For a great day out, had to the Wookey Hole Caves and see if you can spot the infamous Witch of Wookey! There's lots for the kids to do, including a Magical Mirror Maze, superb play areas and stunning rock formations.

Our Top Tip
"Enjoy live music, real ales and Somerset ciders at the King Arthur pub in Glastonbury or head to Burnham-on-Sea to enjoy the sandy beaches."

We stayed for Christmas 2017 and had a lovely time.
Laura, Gary and family were extremely lovely, and could not be more accommodating, even bringing a high chair and travel cot up to our lodge the evening we arrived(as I forgot to request it up on booking our stay) and setting it all up for us.
The lodge was very contemporary and clean and even decorated in Christmas decorations upon arrival with Christmas cakes, they even left us a Christmas card on our doorstep Christmas day with chocolates (which was a lovely touch).
The location and surroundings were amazing and so peaceful. Spending Christmas eve in the hot tub whilst over looking fields of countryside was so beautiful!
I truly could not recommend this place highly enough.

Truly amazing! My partner and I stayed here Monday-Friday and had such an amazing time. Gary met us on arrival and showed us around the lodge and went through the information book with us. There was a lovely slice of lemon drizzle cake left out for us and eggs and milk in the fridge. We loved the hot tub and used it every night! So lovely watching the sunset/stargazing whilst relaxing. Lodge was very clean and tidy and the bed was super comfy! New Oaks is outside of a quiet little village but all larger towns are easily accessible by car.

Booked for my husband's birthday at end of February. Beautiful, bright modern lodge with ensuite and hot tub. Unfortunately for us the snow came and we were able to travel home, and had to stay few extra nights. Laura & Gary were very helpful and did all that they could. If you like rural, and countryside you'll love this place! Loved the peace and quiet too.

An absolutely stunning lodge set in a beautiful location. Perfect for a relaxing weekend away with a partner/friends - the hot tub was amazing and accommodation spotless and a lot bigger than we were expecting! Laura and Gary were great hosts and explained everything thoroughly! Would definitely recommend !

We had the pleasure of staying in the new maple lodge. I did not want to leave. Definitely could of stayed for longer than 2 nights. Beautiful interior comfort bed and amazing bath and hot tub. Only thing stopped me giving 10 was felt slightly over looked by the farm house. Laura and Gary are fantastic hosts very welcoming. We even got to meet all the animals so take your wellies. Little town close by has a cute pub with lots of cider very fitting for the West Country. I would definitely return here it’s beautiful, thank you Laura and Gary :-)

Could not fault our stay. Immaculate accommodation and ideal location for couples and families. We will be returning. Thanks Gary and Laura for our lovely short break. Wished we'd stayed longer. Highly recommended.
Zara
Fabulous place and great customer service. I would imagine it would be even prettier in the spring as we stayed in December.
