Hidden Firs Reviews

"Fabulous lodge and facilities, lovely views. Lots of tourist attractions nearby however requires a car.Two negatives from our stay:There isnt anywhere to walk without getting in the car.Hot tub was not useable on the first evening. It does state that it may not be up to temperature nevertheless, it was still disappointing."

"Nice place for a getaway. Excellent service from site staff and office"

"The hidden firs is amazing! The lodge is built to a high standard and feels very modern. It was perfect for 3 nights of chilling and it was so peaceful. The hot tub was amazing (however check this when you arrive as ours was set to 22 degrees on arrival). In agreement with other reviews, when the trees grow it really will be amazing and so hidden. Small things would have improved our visit like a pizza cutter and the blinds on the door werent lined up correctly like inside the windows so they were letting in a lot of light in the mornings. Nearby there are some shops and takeaways which is convenient. Already looking to book again, really recommend!"

"Brilliant stay! We booked the hidden firs as despite being generally broke in January, the deal was just too good to miss. And it certainly didn't disappoint. The lodge was cosy and warm throughout our stay which made the blanket of snow all the more appealing. The little finishing touches I.e. dog bowl, treats, bottle of fizz etc were really heartwarming. Good location with plenty of amenities local. Only slight feedback I had (although there may of been a small print that I missed) was that it stated in our welcome book that we got a 15% discount from 'Henlle Heights' which is a restaurant situated within the sister lodges site, but the waitress told us that they don't offer discount. Luckily the food & cocktails were nice !"

"Wow ! The owners have thought of everything ! Every little detail to a high standard ! Magical place ! Beautiful views ! The lodge is just immaculate and stunning ! Everything you need !!! Already looking to go back ! The staff at Henlle for food and drinks were so professional, friendly , help ful ! We sat outside because the dog was being a pain inside . The lady brought us blankets and the gentleman turned the lights on outside ! Beautiful touch"

"Fantastic 4 night stay. Beautiful and clean site. Well equipped. Loved how you can move the TV from bedroom area, to the seating area to the dining area. Could do with somewhere to put Toothbrush/toothpaste but other than that, it's been a fantastic stay!"
