"The lodge is in a lovely spot, with great views. Beautiful log burner.Unable to use the hot tub for 25% of our stay due to it not being warm enough and the lodges need a deep clean, they are dirty."

"It was a pleasant stay. Very comfy/warm accommodation surrounded by nature. U will probably need car yo get around. My only suggestion is that the website is not that clear so be aware when booking(some accommodation doesn't have fire place/hot tube)."

"It was my brother and his wife's first holiday since they have been together in over 24 years and they were a bit nervous but when we got there there were a couple of little things in the lodge which we were in which was rectified and sorted out imidiately the only issue was the signs for the lodge was a little to small which caused us to pass the entrance to the lodge a number of times the hot tub was excellent and the staff checked the hot tub a number of times during the day we are already in the process of arranging another visit to Oakwood lodge in portmile and when we requested logs for the log burner, we had them within 10 mins."

"once you find the small sign on the gatepost ,you are welcomed to a small tidy site, the lodges are clean and smart .the hot tubs are great and the daily checks are very welcome. the lodges are well equipped but a starter log basket is not supplied...not a problem just give the team a call and the basket arrives like magic. there are no amenities on site but you are within walking distance to a Spar shop if you turn left out the gate or there is Sainsburys 5 mins drive away if you turn right. the location of the site was perfect for peace and quiet with Dawlish just a short drive away with all the takeaways you'll need. even Exeter or Torquay is only a short drive."
