Holiday Resort Unity is one of our most popular holiday parks and it is easy to see why. The range of facilities and accommodation on offer is outstanding and the customer service and quality are second to none. Families return year after year to enjoy the entertainment, kid's clubs and leisure complex as well as the luxurious accommodation.
The site boasts a fabulous American themed entertainment complex, indoor and outdoor pools, 10-pin bowling, games rooms, fishing, golf, a fun park and a gym! Children have their own club and a free outdoor play area and the evening entertainment offers something for all.
'Fun City' - the largest fun park in the South West where you can splash about in the indoor and outdoor pools and explore the glorious sandy beach just a stones throw away.
If you are looking for a quieter beach style holiday then the peaceful lodges at nearby Mendip View are ideal. Just half a mile from the Leisure facilities these luxurious lodges are right next to the beach at Brean Sands, and are popular with families with younger children looking to be a little further from all the action.
The Lodges at Mendip View are just minutes from the attractions of Holiday Resort Unity and were brand new for 2009. The spacious luxury lodges overlook the beach and each comes with one double en suite bedroom and one twin. The living areas have flatscreen TV, DVD and CD player. Kitchens are well equipped with fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. We love the fact that the lodges at Mendip View also feature private outdoor hot tubs - the perfect way to round of an enjoyable day.

Our first "holiday park holiday" we usually go abroad. Overall a good time was had by all and even on rainy days we could find things to do with the kids. The indoor pool was well used by everyone and busy at times. We were staying at the lodges up the road from the main park and it was nice and quiet where we were but i would think the main site could be quite noisy. The lodge was cracking with loads of room for the 4 of us and really nicely done.
What a week! Just back and had to write a few words about haw great this holiday park is. The kids had the best time ever thanks to the amazing staff and the other family we made friends with. There was always something to do we went swimming, bowling, played crazy golf and my husband and son went fishing. never a dull moment. The kids used the club a lot and loved it, they did different things every day and always came back raving about it. would highly recommend it to families.

Fantastic site - very helpful staff.
The staff who looked after our caravan were very helpful
The only negative was on 2 occasions I had drink spilt over me by drunk people.
I was a bit surprised that on both occasions happened in front of security in RJ's and also the Tavern and these were not asked to leave as they clearly could barely walk. Only to turn around and watch these people go up to the bar and be served more alcohol, maybe bar staff should be more aware when a person slurring their words would be a time to question whether they should be served more alcohol

Would have been great to have a small garden

Great caravan. With it being called a Classic I expected it to be basic but was very impressed. The addition of a wooden decking area with table and chairs was great and made it even nicer. Having two showers and two toilets was a great luxury and a TV in the bedroom was something we have never had before. All in all the best caravan I have ever stayed in, great value for money.

Very very good
Very clean and tidy accommodation having a decking area to sit on was great, and enough distance between the caravans so you were not looking straight at someone
Thanks for the well sorted caravan. We had a lovely holiday.
We've been to a few holiday parks over the years but we found this to be one of the best our kids loved it and so did we and are hoping to book for a week or two for next year fantastic place
This was our 4th stay in the lodges at Brean since 2012. We have 3 children aged 3, 5 & 7 and they thoroughly enjoy the swimming and soft play facilities as well as the Leisure Park.
We have never used the entertainment facilities so cannot comment on that.
The accommodation is always very clean and well serviced by Anne & Les who are always friendly and helpful to the last - they should be commended for their attitude and commitment to the guests. They attended to our minor issues quickly and competently.
The only criticisms on the lodges is that in some ways they are looking a little tired (kitchen cupboard doors peeling), and that a little more thought could be given to the equipment - it would be nice to see little things like a tea towel and oven gloves included, as well as a second frying pan. We had to go and buy these items which was frustrating.
Also a nice touch in the bedrooms would be a cheap dimmable bedside light, very useful as a nightlight for the little guests. We learnt this last year and bought such lamps in Argos in Weston then and brought them back with us again this year, but it would be great if these things could be included by HRU.
The only thing that lets down HRU is the on site takeaway food - although the staff was very helpful and approachable, the availability of some hot food products in the pizza shop at even 5pm on a Saturday was an issue. The result of which meant we had to cancel our entire order and take our custom elsewhere, meaning HRU lost out on a £50 order and we were inconvenienced. Just seemed to be a bit unprepared to be able to serve the anticipated customer demand.
Otherwise a very good holiday, really enjoy the space of the lodges and the facilities.
love unity we stayed there in February then again in sept ,febs holiday was far better because the bedrooms were at opposite ends of the accommodation ,in sept all 3 bedrooms were at 1 end and the doors opened up on each other ,awkward because we kept hitting each other ,my mother was on crutches so not much room ,apart from that everything was great
Evening entertainment in the Tavern for adults could have been as advertised, not mainly children's entertainment.
Passes were not really explained correctly, ie access to most rides were all at full price.
Seating in the Tavern needs to be more individual, ie tables of 4, 6 etc & round, not canteen tables, set out like a boarding school, adults don't like that set-up.
The fish & chip shop didn't have the restaurant open to sit down in after 5pm or so and not enough seating space outside the area.
Nice site clean good dog walk
Brean Leisure Park in Somerset is the place to head for family fun. The site has over 130 rides and attractions with something for all ages and abilities. Adults and children alike will love the more traditional fairground rides which include waltzes, roller coasters and of course dodgems! For younger children the Canoe River is one of the most popular rides and the whole family can team up to enjoy the Laser Quest. Other facilities at the park include a Snack Bar serving tasty food to go, a Restaurant for a relaxing sit down dinner and an Amusement Arcade with slot machines and video games.
The very unique Seaquarium in Western Super Mare is a fantastic site based on a beach surrounded by 3 miles of sand offering an educational and fun experience for the whole family. The site is packed with marine life from all over the world and has an amazing Underwater tunnel where visitors can view Sharks and Sting Rays There are also several open top displays allowing closer inspection of the elegant Rays as well as other creatures. Special events take place throughout the year in high season including talks and crafting sessions.
The award wining Court Farm Country Park is the ideal all weather attraction with over 25000sq ft of playgrounds and attractions which are all undercover.
