Nine miles south of Aberystwyth and just one and a half miles from the nearest beach, Penrhos Park offers the perfect holiday experience for golf lovers and those who just want to explore the nearby historic towns and harbour villages. There are plenty of beaches along Cardigan Bay and you can take a wildlife boat trip from New Quay and be almost certain to spot grey seals and porpoises. Take a bike ride along the beautiful Dysynnii Valley near Twywn - it's virtually traffic-free so completely safe for cyclists and walkers. For a bit of light refreshment, the Lamb & Flag Inn at Rhayader serves real ale and home cooked meals.
