Great experience but too cut off.
We stayed in Glaslyn Lodge and found our stay pretty much perfect. The lodge was clean and tidy. It had everything we needed. I have a couple of small niggles. They would be a huge crack in the bathroom sink but that's clearly expensive to replace and the internal doors creaking and being difficult to close. This isn't great when you're sneaking about when a 3 year old is in bed! Apart from that we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and will be back asap. Its a stones throw from Criccieth. Very easy to find. Carol who looked after us was very helpful and also left us to our own devices which was great. I only got to use the hot tub once due to bad weather. Unfortunate!
Lodge was clean and spacious, only down fall, found a leak under the sink, but owner promptly checked this out. Hot tub was relaxing.

Such a lovely place - loads to do and really family friendly
Really enjoyed the holiday at Bron Eifion lovely place in a beautiful place. Lodges were lovely and well equipped for our needs. There is a big fishing lake which is the reason we booked and have booked again for next year. My husband and two grand children who live with us came with us and they all fish my grand son is just learning to be a fisher man at moment but was very happy at 14years old with the holiday. Have to rely on phone internet which ours was in and out on site but didn’t bother us as we like to escape to the countryside apart from busy towns and city’s and relax. Lots of lovely walks around the area to walk the dogs and they were very happy as country dogs not town dogs.
Owners were very helpful when we arrived and on hand if we needed them. Very relaxing holiday.
We loved place especially two very friendly cats who decided to live with us during our stay 😊
Owner very helpful and lovely.
We liked set up around lake.
If you are expecting luxurious place this is not place for you but if you want to stay somewhere where is nice and quiet with hot tub so you can relax - than you will enjoy it.

Cannot wait to return. This is one of the most peaceful breaks we have ever had. Beautiful view of lake from cabin. A perfect way to de stress in this quite away from it all location.
very friendly staff on hand as soon as we arrived.
Lovely place and helpful friendly people. Only one little niggle and that's that the walk round to the hot tub was on the driveway unsheltered but everything else was great
Beautiful surroundings. Helpful and friendly staff Carol and Kevin made us si welcome. The fishing is excellent and the lodge was warm, spacious and comfortable. Ideal place if you love fishing. We will be back.
Lovely setting and great people very welcoming would love to return again next year
Glasfryn Activity Parc is an award winning year round attraction with plenty of facilities to keep the whole family happy. Quad Bikes, Archery, Soft Play and even Wakeboarding can all be enjoyed. The site also has a fantastic farm shop, a café and 10 pin bowing complex.
This attraction is really something special and has reached the finals of the "Best Family Day Out" category in the National Tourism Awards for Wales. It's actually the only attraction in North Wales to be shortlisted for this prestigious award. Located in the Snowdonia region there are many rides and activities including Jungle Boat Adventure, Den Building, Green Dragon Roller Caoster, Treetop Towers and the BareFoot Trail. Kids of all ages will love it here and we think it's excellent value as well.
An adventure boat company in the heart of Wales. Whether it's adrenaline fueled fun, or a relaxing river tour, you and your family will want to book up with Rib Ride. Ride a 'RIB' boat on the Menai Strait or take a Bear Grylls adventure boat tour. Very highly reviewed on Trip Advisor. Tours for bridges and swells, puffin and seals, castle and islands and more.
Penrhyn Castle is a neo-Norman castle is located in the stunning Gwynedd region of Wales. The castle will appeal to those who enjoy sites of historical interest as well as to families looking to enjoy a fun day out. The Castle is in very good condition and guided tours are on offer. Don't miss a look at the grand hall with its exquisite collection of paintings or the Victorian Kitchen which gives amazing insight into the running of the Castle. Other highlights include the Servants Rooms and the one ton slate bed which was originally made for Queen Victoria.
