Peacock Lake Glamping is part of our exclusive Bouja Luxury Boutique Breaks Collection, a stunning luxury glamping site in the heart of Nottinghamshire. Nestled within the picturesque village of Gunthorpe on the banks of the River Trent, this location features six beautifully designed pods, each with its own private hot tub for the ultimate indulgent experience.

Step inside each pod and you’ll be greeted with a stylish and contemporary interior, featuring plush furnishings and modern amenities. Perfect for a romantic retreat, each pod can accommodate two guests in supreme comfort. Each pod offers a private outdoor space complete with high quality outdoor furniture and secluded bubbling hot tub. As the sun sets on another day, you can unwind with a glass of your favourite tipple and watch as the stars twinkle overhead.

The site features a well-established fishery that has been popular with anglers all over the country for more than three decades. Guests have exclusive, complimentary use of a popular 21-peg property with several varieties of coarse fish, including carp. There is also a cosy games room on site, complete with pool table, dart board, log burner and indoor and outdoor seating.

Away from your pod, take a short stroll down to the village of Gunthorpe which features an outstanding selection of pubs and award-winning restaurants. Enjoy peaceful walks along the bank of the River Trent, or explore further afield with the city of Nottingham and Sherwood Forest in the nearby area.

"Loved this place! The cabins are very well laid out and modern, brilliant use of a small space. The surroundings were beautiful (we stayed in the swan cabin) with a view of the lake. The games room was an added little touch which we loved, never knew I could actually play darts! This gave us something different to go and do in the evening.It was really easy for us to get to Nottingham city centre via the bus which is a 1 minute walk from the site Overall really enjoyed being here and will definitely book again"

"Pods are well equipped and clean. Site it is a little cramped but it still feels private enough. The hot tub was well maintained. There's a decent communal area with a bar, pool table, dart board and log burner. The pubs just up the road towards the lock are lovely. There's some decent walks up and down the river right outside the site. We really enjoyed outlr stay and would highly recommend."

Crazy Crocodiles Indoor Play & Party Centre - LL30 1DR

This is an all weather attraction located in Ilkeston Derbyshire. With a large play frame as well as bikes and ride on toys this is a fun place for young children. The toddler time sessions take place during term times on week days from 9.30am until 2.30pm and are very popular. The admission fee is excellent value for money and parents can sit down and enjoy a drink while the children play. A new baby changing facility has now been installed together with some new chairs making this a clean and welcoming attraction for families.
