"Dugan coastal lodges was great and Sue is so welcoming! We booked a 3 night stay and we’re sent information from Sue about our stay. I was able to email about a couple of questions before arriving and got a quick response back. The location of the lodge is ideal for exploring during the day and peace and quiet when you want it! We enjoyed a drive to durham for some food and a day out at Seaham beach collecting sea glass. 100% would recommend a stay here!"

Go Ape Northumberland - NE48 1NT
about 28 Miles
Go Ape! has really taken off and become one of the most popular attractions in the UK.  The Northumberland course is set in the stunning grounds of Matfin Hall.  Described as a high wire forest adventure this really is one for the more daring as the course takes place right up in the tree tops.  Giant tree top obstacle courses include ladders, bridges, tunnels and some of the country's best zip lines.  You will be provided with all safety equipment and training on site.
Big Sheep - EX39 5AP
about 35 Miles
This is a recommended day out for families with young children visiting the Bedale area of Yorkshire.  Visit the farm and receive a warm welcome as well as a guided tour.  You will have the chance to bottle feed the lambs, bath a pig and handle some of the smaller animals.  Kids will love the big sandpit and the outdoor play area. There is also a cafe and indoor play area for when the weather is not on your side.
