Ashlea Pools Lodges Reviews

"Really enjoyed our stay! The bed was super comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. Big TV too!"
Laura - Mar 2025
"Absolutely loved it! Nothing more we could have asked for, really."
Alex - Mar 2025
"We had an amazing weekend! The lodge was super cosy and spotless and the on-site facilities were top-notch. All the staff were friendly and really helpful too."
Emma Carter - Mar 2025
"We had a fantastic time at Ashlea Pools! The lodges are super cosy and really well equipped, making it feel like a home away from home. The hot tubs are always spotless and relaxing after a day out. The site itself is beautifully maintained, with a lovely little cafe that turns into a pizzeria four nights a week, which was a nice touch. The staff are friendly and always quick to help with anything. Weve been twice and cant wait to go back again!"
Harper - Mar 2025
"Our Ashlea Pools Lodges review: Really enjoyed our stay, the lodge was just perfect!"
Emma - Feb 2025
"Perfect getaway, will return soon"
Emily Carter - Feb 2025
"The staff were genuinely friendly and super helpful, making us feel welcome. The hot tub was fantastic, though we wish wed stayed longer than just three nights. Well definitely return!"
James - Feb 2025
"We really enjoyed our stay, so peaceful and the lodge was super cosy with amazing views of the fishing pond."
Emma - Feb 2025
"Really enjoyed it"
Charlotte - Jan 2025
"We had mixed feelings about our stay. The hot tub was spotless, which was lovely, but the Wi-Fi was completely useless after paying for it and nobody could fix it. The kitchen was in dire need of a proper tidy-up too. Still, some nice touches overall."
Emma Carter - Jan 2025
"We rented the Lake View and Goldcrest lodges as a family and they both fit our needs really well. My sons been here before and although it was my first visit, definitely wont be my last!"
Harriet - Jan 2025
"The bed was a tad firmer than we prefer, but its all personal taste."
Emma - Jan 2025
"Great stay, would recommend"
Emma Clarke - Jan 2025
"Great place, would return"
Emma - Jan 2025
"The place was not visited, all opinions are based on online images."
James - Dec 2024
"Really loved the lodge! The Christmas tree added a cosy touch and relaxing in the hot tub was just what we needed after a busy day."
Emma - Dec 2024
"We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin had such a luxurious vibe, with high-end fixtures and plush bedding that made us feel really special. The kitchen was fully equipped, perfect for cooking or just grabbing a bite at the onsite pizzeria and cafe. The walk-in shower and bathtub in the bedroom added a real VIP touch. Spacious, stylish and stunning - wed come back in a heartbeat!"
Lucy Parker - Nov 2024
"We really enjoyed the cosy vibe of the cabin, it felt like a little retreat! The TV had quite a strange mix of channels-like four different ITV channels but no CBeebies for our little one, which was a bit annoying but not a big deal since we didnt watch much anyway. The Wi-Fi couldve been better if it had been connected properly. Also, there werent any coffee, tea, or milk sachets when we arrived, which wouldve been nice for a quick morning brew, but totally our fault for not bringing some along! Still, wed come back."
Emma Carter - Nov 2024
"Weve been coming here for a few years now and already booked for next year! The lodges are always spotless and fully equipped for a relaxing weekend. The welcome basket this time was a lovely surprise, really enjoyed it. We absolutely love the hot tub, though it would be great if there was a cover or gazebo to use it in the wetter months. Overall, its a fantastic spot and were already looking forward to our next visit!"
Emma - Nov 2024
"We had a fantastic stay at this lodge! The place was spotless-honestly, I used to be an Airbnb cleaner and I couldnt find a single fault. The vibe was really warm and welcoming and the staff couldnt have been more helpful. The facilities are top-notch, with a handy shop and cafe on site that had everything we needed. As NHS nurses, we really needed a break and this place delivered exactly that. We loved it and will definitely return!"
Emma Richards - Nov 2024
"We loved our stay! The lodge was spotless, including the hot tub. The white robes and towels added a nice touch and those Chesterfield sofas? Super comfy. Great experience overall!"
Emily - Nov 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, the lodges are spotless and well-equipped."
Emma Carter - Nov 2024
"Modern, stylish and well-furnished-exactly what we needed. Cheers!"
Emma Carter - Nov 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, peaceful and friendly atmosphere."
Emma Roberts - Oct 2024
"Great trip! Shrewsbury was lovely, Ludlow charming and Bridgnorth a fun day out. Weather was perfect."
Martin - Oct 2024
"We stayed at this lodge and really enjoyed it! The whole place felt warm and inviting with its wooden interior. Everything was spotless and the kitchen gear looked brand new. The bed was super comfy too. Nice touch with the towels and robes-really appreciated those extras!"
Rachel - Oct 2024
"We recently stayed here for the first time and honestly, it was fantastic! The location is so tranquil, all you hear are birds and the occasional train passing by. The staff at reception and in the cafe were super friendly and helpful. The lodge was spotless and had everything we needed. Well definitely be coming back soon!"
Emma - Oct 2024
"The cabin was super cosy and warm, really clean and so comfy too. Spacious! Definitely recommend."
Emma - Oct 2024
"We recently stayed at this lodge and had a pretty good time overall. Its a lovely spot, but it could do with some TLC - handles on drawers and doors keep falling off, which gets a bit annoying. The fridges bottom shelf is broken, so storing bottles isnt easy and the main bed isnt the most comfy. One thing to keep in mind is the train line running right behind the lodge, so it can be noisy at times. Wed come back, but maybe try a different lodge next time to avoid the train noise. Still, a decent stay!"
Emma - Sep 2024
"Pretty decent, worth trying out"
Emma Roberts - Sep 2024
"Would definitely be back. Lodge lovely and clean and hot tub great. Very peaceful and relaxing. Staff very helpful especially leanna ."
Diane - Jul 2022
"Only one criticism, someone checks the Jacuzzis everyday at random times, just walks in unannounced so no privacy."
Steven - Jul 2022
"Lovely setting. Hot tub a real bonus"
Paula - Jul 2022
"Lovely clean and tidy site. Ideal base to explore Shropshire and North Wales. Shop didn't seem as well stocked as our previous stay here. Decent staff on hand during the day."
Iain - Jul 2022
"Beautiful site. Ideal for a family break."
Elizabeth - Jul 2022
"Fantastic few days away. Loved everything about it. Ive already booked to go again next year"
Alfie - Jul 2022
"Paradise! Really lovely place for a peaceful and quiet break with great helpful friendly staff. Really enjoyed the fishing too, and the breakfast in the cafe was spot on! Will be back for sure."
Rob - Jul 2022
"Lovely lodge. Peaceful and dog friendly. Plenty space in lodge. Only small note would be better outdoor seating. We had bench and table. Chairs would hv been more convenient for enjoying the Lovely sunshine we had."
Jackie - Jul 2022
"Had a lovely 2 night stay, very tranquil and the lodges are beautiful with everything you need."
Tracey - Jul 2022
"Had a great time. Will defo go back at some point."
Zainul - Jul 2022
"Beautiful park with very peaceful surroundings. It is a little disappointing that the cafe/bar doesn’t stay open in the evenings as it would have been really nice to stop by for a drink after dinner. The lodge was comfortable and exceptionally clean. The hot tub was wonderful. Overall an excellent break, we will definitely return."
