An absolute gem. Truly idyllic. The owner, Amanda is kindness itself.
Helen - Dec 2023
Beautiful location. Host Amanda was went above and beyond. Even provided candles during power cut! Hot tub was a joy and had great evening in BBQ hut. Cottage has all home comforts and being greeted by the alpacas each day was a bonus!
Richard - Dec 2023
Relaxing stay in this property, welcomed with the Christmas tree ready, a cracker and bottle of Prosecco, a great start. Easy to find, peaceful location, cosy with local space to walk. Do bear in mind if booking, there is no shop in the village, and the pub does not open every day. There are two shops and two pubs in Brill, 2 miles away, both proviRead morede food. Also suggested to visit Thame, and Aylesbury, plus, of course, Oxford. I am sure you will enjoy your stay. Hide

Perfect place to stay. Fantastic enclosed, spacious gardens and field for dog to run about. Lovely comfortable interior to barn. Amanda is an amazing, friendly person and made us all feel so welcome. Would happily visit again
Carl - Jul 2023
Lovely property, furnished to a very high standard, probably too good for dogs ( light carpets throughout) Set in a lovely village with an abundance of grassed areas to walk your dogs, also a nice country pub within half a mile. Owner was both friendly and accessible.
Marcella - May 2023
Nice location, tranquil gardens, continous availability of hot tub that was part of the property use & very relaxing. The owner, Amanda was very helpful & a lovely person. Gardens were great and fully enclosed for our dogs, so very reassured they were free to roam around. Lovely village and charming locals.
Victoria - Apr 2023
The cottage was absolutely gorgeous! The host was very welcoming , and decorated the place for us as it was our honeymoon, nice touch! It was really clean and all the facilities were great, the hot tub was a nice addition. The location was perfect for what we wanted, some great walks near by and a nice local pub.

Located in Ludgershall near Bicester is the lovely Clearbrook Barn. Perfectly situated in beautiful settings why would you stay in an impersonal premier inn? Amanda the host is on hand to recommend the local attractions. All the comforts of home and gardens and the added attraction of the wonderful Alpacas Wallace and Monty. Enjoy sightseeing and r eturn to relax in the gardens and hot tub. thank you Amanda for a lovely stay. Good pubs nearby serving great food and dog friendly.
Nicola - Aug 2022

Julie - Aug 2022
Everyone needs to stay at Clearbrook Barn. It was perfect in every way. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable and everything you could possibly need is supplied. It's a truly fabulous place and a great base to travel to all the wonderful places of interest. It was such a good feeling knowing that we were coming back to such a peaceful relaxing place after a busy day sightseeing. The host Amanda is the icing on the cake. A truly lovely lady inside and out. Highly recommended to all. Superb
Steve - Jul 2022
Lovely peaceful location perfectly situated to explore local places of interest. Comfortable and stylish accommodation in lovely grounds that offer a variety of outdoor seating to relax, hot tub and barbecue hut. Amanda was the perfect host as she is relaxed, friendly and helpful but is also unobtrusive; she spoiled us with a (much appreciated) bot tle of Prosecco on our anniversary.! Our two dogs were also spoiled with their own towel, generous water bowl and good supply of treats!
Karen - Jul 2022
The cottage was absolutely stunning. It was perfectly clean and had everything we required. The bed was amazingly comfortable and as someone who has regular back issues this can make or break a holiday. No sore back for a week!! Amanda provided an air cooler due to the extreme heat and this was welcomed by not only us humans but our 2 dogs also. Th e gardens were stunning and our 2 flatties enjoyed the unrestricted access. Amanda was a great host, always available if we needed her for anything.
Anne - Jul 2022
Clearbrook barn is amazing and Amanda is delightful. Her grounds are truly stunning and a great place to kick back and relax. The dogs loved their stay too.
June - Jul 2022
Lovely, highly recommended
Janice - Jun 2022
This was our 3rd year running staying here and have already booked for next year! It's just so peaceful and relaxing with plenty of places to go and visit if you choose to do so but we just like to go and unwind in this lovely home from home with all it's lovely touches. Amanda is amazing and we can't forget Tom as well. Nothing is too much trouble and it's lovely to spend time with them as well. The hot tub is great to watch the sun go down in and to admire the lovely grounds and Alpaca's.
Karen - Jun 2022
There are lots of unique and quirky characteristics in this property. The bed and sofa are very comfortable and there is great water pressure . But the USP are the beautiful gardens which are so relaxing and all lit up at night like a fairy grotto. Amanda and Tom are very friendly and helpful if needed. We loved our week and arrived home refreshed.
STEPHEN - Jun 2022
Great location and facilities, theres loads to do at the barn, barbi and hot tub. The owner was great, Tom and Amanda made every effort to make us welcome, great spot for the dogs. It was such a lovely holiday, Wallace and Monty the Alpacas were so lovely too. Really lovely stay will be back for sure!

Idyllic location, Clearbrook Barn is beautifully presented. Amanda is extremely accommodating and Wallace and Monty the Alpacas will instantly become your best friends if you wave a carrot at them. Loved the hot tub and beautiful grounds. The Bull and Butcher pub, which is a 10 minute walk away is very friendly and serves good food. We really enjoy ed our stay and would highly recommend.
Yvonne - Feb 2022
We had a fabulous week at Clearbrook Barn, Amanda was the perfect host. We went to Clearbrook Barn for our 25th wedding anniversary and the balloons, prosecco and cake were a lovely surprise. The barn was really cosy and the gardens were beautiful. We loved seeing the alpacas whilst relaxing in the hot tub. Our dog had a fabulous time too. Stuart - Dec 2021
We would happily recommend a stay at Clearbrook Barn, to anyone thinking of visiting (and if you're not..why not??) We had a wonderful stay over New Year, and could not have wished for more. Comfortable, homely feel and a lovely quiet location - The hot tub was such a bonus too. Fabulous hospitality from Amanda and Tom, especially on New Year's Eve - With an honourable mention to Mike for sourcing the Georgia Bulldogs game too. Ps... Wallace and Monty...simply wonderful!!
Tracey - Dec 2021
We came for our honeymoon and wasnt disappointed. Balloons, banner, Prosecco on arrival. But thats Amanda our host. Nothing too much. Beautiful barn, tasteful decor. Very relaxing environment and very pretty garden. Centre parcs has squirrels and birds. Clearbrook has Wallace the alpaca; funny and adorable. He came to see us at our door for carrots n apples. Village pub ace with some great characters. Pheasant has amazing venison pie. Pointer pub is a must go to. Burford quaint.
Christine - Nov 2021
What a fantastic find, totally relaxed the minute we arrived. Gardens are stunning and Wallace the Alpaca was such a sweetie waiting patiently for his daily carrot and putting up with our cockapoo. Local pubs are really dog friendly. Even though it was December I did use the hot tub and plan to go back in the summer to take full advantage. Amanda w as the most perfect host and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.
Kirsty - Nov 2021

Here are some of the activities and experiences you can enjoy on your visit to Clearbrook Barn. If you discover a worthy inclusion to this list on your hot tub break, please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too.
Pendon Indoor Model Village and Railways - OX12 8EA
about 16 Miles
This is an all weather attraction in Abingdon, Oxfordshire which will appeal to all ages.  The model trains are fascinating to watch and we love the model village in the Vale Scene.  The exhibits have been well thought out and it's a pleasure to wander around this museum looking at everything on offer.  You can be assured of a warm welcome from the moment you arrive and for kids and adults alike this makes a fun and educational day out.
Catanger Llama Trekking - NN12 8LJ
about 18 Miles
This is a really unique attraction and certainly worth a visit in our opinion.  Established in 1995 and situated in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside this attraction will appeal to those looking for something a little different.  You can't ride the animals but you can trek alongside them and enjoy the fantastic scenery.  From farm tracks to country lanes the gentle animals will carry your rucksack for you along the way.  There are personally guided treks available all year round and you will have your own Llama for the trek.
Old Dairy Farm Centre - PO30 2NB
about 24 Miles
Suited to families with children of all ages this is a fantastic attraction in Northamptonshire.  There are many special events held throughout the year so don't forget to check what's happening while you are staying in the region.  Some highlights include the lambing weekends and the monthly local food fayres.
Old Dairy Farm Country Shopping and Craft Centre - LE14 3PF
about 24 Miles
From shopping to home cooked refreshments this is a wonderful day out in the pretty village of Upper Stowe.  You can enjoy amazing views over the Northamptonshire countryside and wander around the complex of stone built farm buildings.  Each building houses something different such as the Occasions Florist, Itsy Bitsy Gifts, Hayrack Gallery and Sheer Delights Lingerie.  When it's time for a rest the Barn Restaurant and Tea Room is the place to go.  There is a small selection of animals at the centre too which younger children will love.  They currently have two Kune Kune pigs, sheep, hens and ducks.  If you are looking for upmarket holiday accommodation in the Northamptonshire area then the luxury lodges at Wicksteed Park are sure to impress.
Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens - OX18 4JP
about 26 Miles
This has to be one of the most popular days out in Oxfordshire and is sure to appeal to nature lovers, animal lovers and keen gardeners.  Families and couples will enjoy wandering around this amazing park with a wide variety of mammals and birds to see as well as reptiles. Some of the most popular animals are the Burrowing Owl, Dexter Cow, African Pancake Tortoise and the Bar Headed Goose.  Check out their website for the latest admission costs and special offers.
Farmer Gows - SN7 8DA
about 28 Miles
Farmer Gows is a recommended attraction in the Faringdon area of Oxfordshire and will be especially suited to families with young children.  The little ones will love coming to see the farm animals including pigs, cows and lambs.  The meet the animals session takes place every day and includes handling the animals, walking the goats, feeding the pigs and cows and egg collecting.  Look out for special seasonal events throughout the year such as the Halloween Party, Lambing and children's workshops.  The latest news from the farm is that they have some Saddleback piglets and Speckledy chicks arriving shortly.
The Royal Forest of Rockingham - LE16 8UW
about 38 Miles
The Royal Forest of Rockingham in Northamptonshire is the perfect place to enjoy a range of outdoor pursuits including Walking, Cycling, Nature Trails and Horse Riding. The beautiful medieval hunting forest offers areas of ancient woodlands, agricultural land and peaceful stone-built forest villages. The forest is also abundant with wildlife including Deer, Squirrels, Butterflies and Birds.
