Anglesey Lakeside Lodges Reviews

Really spacious and clean. By far the best lodge as have stayed in 2 other lodges in Lakeside Main TV remote may need new batteries? As was not always workingGreat WifiMaybe a note as to where the switch is for decking light is as hidden behind large lamp. Small remote for lights above hot tub could have a note on as we only found out what it did 2 days into holiday.
Marie - Feb 2024
Spent a long weekend here and the place was amazing! It was a lot more than we expected. Turned up to great views an amazing lodge with a great hot tub. Log burner everything we needed and the place was spotless we really didnt want to leave. We had an amazing time and hopefully will be booking the same lodge again soon. Recommended this place to friends and family.
Karl - Feb 2024
This was my second stay at the lodge and I have already booked again for next year. The site itself is peacful and in a wonderful location where you can explore Anglesey from easily. The lodge is very well furnished and the beds are super comfortable. The owners are very approachable and helpful if you have any concerns.
Rae - Jan 2024
Perfect retreat to relax, fully equipped, hot tub was amazing, couldn't wish for a better weekend. We will be back!
Maria - Jan 2024
Excellent stay in a lovely lodge. Everything was perfect. We will be returning
Jonathan - Jan 2024
Absolutely beautiful lodge, we really enjoyed our stay. Everything in the lodge was comfortable, clean and lovely. The view from both the lounge and main bedroom was fantastic, waking up in the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in to be able to watch the birds on the lake. Thank you for a fantastic stay.
Jane - Jan 2024
Totally enjoyed the weekend break the setting was absolutely fantastic will definitely be booking again thanks
Dawn - Jan 2024
Third visit to Bodafon, i think that says it all. A superb lodge in a lovely location.
David - Jan 2024
The Top Boathouse was just stunning! Gorgeous setting and the lodge was like a home from home. There was everything youd need, absolutely everything had been thought of. The weather was dreadful the whole time we were there, so we didnt have the opportunity to get out too much, but the lodge was so well equipped and spacious, we thoroughly enjoyed staying in and spending some quality family time.
Charlotte - Jan 2024
My partner and I stayed here with my daughter and our dog in Jan 2024. The place is in an amazing location and the lodges really do take your breath away. Real top quality finish throughout. We are currently looking to plan our next visit. Couldnt recommend highly enough.
Ben - Jan 2024
Absolutely amazing, such a wonderful experience, I am 26 weeks pregnant and was so comfortable there, with my 2 year old twins, such a lovely view as well, came to celebrate my 30th birthday with my partner and my children and they supplied chocolates and even bought an orchid for me which being hormonal made me cry because it was so sweet, whilst there my partner proposed to me as well so Annog lodge will always have a special place in my heart now for me and my family.
Anna - Jan 2024
Excellent really relaxing break. Peaceful and beautiful location. Plenty of walks both for us and our dog. This is the 4th time we have visited Anglesey Lakeside lodges and will definitely come again. Home from home.
Verified Guest - Dec 2023
We visited Cadnant Lodge as a family the first week of December. The lodge was beautiful and was all decorated for Christmas. The owners of the lodge kept in touch and were always available to message if we did need anything. The surroundings of the lodge were lovely especially on the frosty morning we had and the views were amazing. We especially enjoyed the hottub and seeing all the stars on the clear night's. Best lodge we've stayed in and would 100% recommend to anybody. We all would love to come back at some point. 10/10
Lisa - Dec 2023
Superb surroundings, idilic setting every you need close by
Antony - Dec 2023
This place was amazing I honestly can't think of anything bad about it. Set up well. clean and just great. I strongly recommend this place.Helpful owner.
Andrew - Dec 2023
Only issue if you had a emergency No phone signal, no body on site to report to
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
Had a lovely week staying in angelsey lodge. The lodge is lovely and spacious and the setting is amazing. Despite the weather being wet we enjoyed several days out and would particularly recommend beaumaris castle and redboat ice cream parlour, greenwoods forest adventure and pili palas. Our favourite beach was benllech. At the lodge we enjoyed the hot tub and feeding the ducks. The only negatives about the lodge were the very creaky staircase and the cooker/hob and pans being not very good which makes cooking rather difficult.
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
Excellent holiday for peace and quiet. Accommodation was also excellent. Home from home.
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
Broken fridge shelves, no toilet rolls on arrival, cobwebs, the last occupants empty tins on the patio, hoover left in middle of kitchen, old shower cubicle in the parking area... not the best 1st impression. Then you find the mattress is like sleeping on an old sponge and the downstairs shower is nothing more than a trickle from an old broken shower head. Clearly there's a process of upgrading going on (unless there was a major problem with the original ensuite shower...) but I would still not expect to pay over £2k for mediocre facilities. Beautiful location in the wildlife though, and it could be so much more but not enough to tempt me back.
Verified Guest - Nov 2023
Lovely lodge! This was my 2nd time staying at Cadnant lodge and my family's first time, they absolutely loved it! It's a fab, cozy lodge with everything you need in a beautiful park setting. I can't wait to come back again in the future.
Rachel - Nov 2023
Had lovely holiday, perfect location set in idyllic spot!
Mark - Nov 2023
Amazing lodge in beautiful Anglesey.Near great restaurants & pubs, coastal path walking.Very comfortable, lovely hot tub, well equipped, I cant fault this lodge in any way.
Lynne - Nov 2023
Had a fantastic time. As we go every year. Loved every minute. Lodge is kept very clean . You have everything at hand that you need in the kitchen. Just a lovely place if you want to relax . Wildlife is brilliant to watch .
Lesley - Nov 2023
Lakeside retreat is amazing! We had the most relaxing time there. Sitting in the hot tub over looking the lake was so calming and a perfect way to start or end the day. It is really well equipped if you plan on cooking, have never stayed anywhere that provides so much. Security deposit was returned the day after leaving which was good. Owners called in advance of holiday and sent a really useful email with lots of info. Would highly recommend a stay here and hope to book again soon.
Kelly - Nov 2023
This is the second time we have stayed and not the last by any means! It is our little home from home and we adore Anglesey and everything the lodges have to offer. Brenda is fab and always on hand. Thanks again!!
Jodie - Nov 2023
We stayed in The Top Boathouse for 4 nights. The lodge is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. We reported a couple of snags-slow draining basin and shower tray, also the hot tub was only powerful in one corner-but these didnt affect our enjoyment and will likely be sorted for the next visitor. A lovely location and we enjoyed being visited by ducks, moorhens and red squirrels.
Helen - Nov 2023
Excellent place so quiet and beautiful
Gary - Nov 2023
The lodge was beautiful! We even got a complementary bottle of champers too. Lovely and clean.
Clare - Nov 2023
This lodge is in a fantastic location but falls short of autograph lodges luxury we expected - the lodge is ready for a refurb and was probably at standard 5 years ago. We can see the owners have been trying to improve/update the lodge but it still needs urgent attention. Attention to detail lacking - couldnt use the dishwasher as no rinse aid or salt in it or available. Dirty cushions with food on them and dirty blinds. Sofas old and worn out - however wow what a lovely view and surroundings, hot tub fabulous too. Autograph lodges are usually top luxury we have stayed in many - no little touches ie little toiletries etc. wouldnt stay in this lodge again unless updated to reflect the price charged for autograph lodges
Claire - Nov 2023
Had a lovely holiday exploring Anglesey and its beautiful beaches and attractions. The lodge was a perfect base to explore from. Very homely and comfortable with a hot tub and plenty of grassy space for the kids to play in.
Andy - Nov 2023
We stayed in Annog lodge. So quiet and peaceful. Saw geese, herons, kingfishers, ducks, swallows. Take a fishing rod there’s loads of carp. Kids loved catching them. Loads to do in surrounding area. Lodge was beautiful and Host was really helpful. Lots of lovely goodies left for our arrival. Would definitely come again.
Mark - Aug 2022
Stunning Lodge and wonderful location. We really enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful and within easy driving distance from Beaumaris and other attractions.
Donna - Aug 2022

Stephen - Jul 2022
Absolutely stunning lodge. We booked for 3 nights as a last min getaway, but will definitely return & for a longer stay nxt time. So peaceful & relaxing. Lodge very clean & well kept, (the owner) although we didn't meet her, was on hand vis txt or phonecall if needed (we had no problems). Beautiful views, walks & scenery all around.
Rebecca - Jul 2022
Excellent facilities at the lodge. Beautiful location, peaceful and relaxing.
