Where's Glen Clova Lodges?
Mr A Good
My wife and I had a fantastic time in the hideaway lodge, lovely wooden lodge, finished to a very high spec and immaculately clean. Coming back to the lodge after a day away was made even better by the lovely hot tub. My wife works at a leisure centre snd usually does not do hot tubs, but we saw the maintenance man treat it every morning and it was being emptied as we checked out, so we knew it was clean and safe to use. The views are stunning and even when your in the shower, you can enjoy the breathtaking views in the reflection of the shower screen. If your looking to get away for a really peaceful, relaxing break then the Glen Clova Lodges are the place to go. Cant wait to book again for September.
second time we have been great time and so relaxing bringing in new year in hot tub with bottle of bubbley owners gave us along with box chocs. looking to book again for this year.

Date of stay: 13th April 2018
The instructions for the sauna were incorrect we worked it out but should ahve been clearer. The fact that someone came round to check the hot tub every morning between 8.30-9 it would have been useful if we were informed that this happened.

Date of stay: 24th March 2017
The lodge itself had everything you could possibly need it was also spotlessly clean, bed had lovely linen and was extremely comfortable. The hot tub was lovely clean warm and inviting, the sauna was definitely a bonus and we really enjoyed it. I was concerned that the lodge would be cold as the weather was extremely cold but it was the best example of underfloor heating we've ever experienced, we were extremely cozy and comfortable.

Staying for new year is probably twice what you would normally pay. Just not quite sure it can justify the high price with a shabby hot tub and sofas that need replaced.

Date of stay: 25th November 2016
We had a wonderful few days in one of the hide away lodges. Surroundings were so beautiful with lovely walks, which our furry family member Bailey loved. It was so relaxing and we found hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful when we visited for lunch. Would highly recommend.

Date of stay: 16th September 2016
A most enjoyable holiday away from it all. Literally! We were surprised by how remote this place is in reality. The nearest shop of any sort was about 20 minutes away by car. This was relevant as we were self catering. We viewed the pleasant looking modern restaurant but did not use it. WiFi and Mobile signal were almost non-existant (as advertised), but a break from technology was good. We enjoyed the private hot tub and sauna. We walked to Loch Brandy, and around the hotel area and forest trails. We would definitely stay again, and recommend it to anyone looking for a nature filled break free from technology and 'civilisation'.

Date of stay: 31st July 2015
An ideal spot to get away from it all for a bit of rest and relaxation. We stayed in Doll lodge a 2 bed stand alone lodge a couple of hundred yards from the hotel. It is one of a few lodges across the car park and slightly up the hill. Quite private with its own parking space and the facilities are excellent. Plenty of tea and coffee and a pint of milk and carton of fresh orange provided on arrival was a nice touch. Hotel does good food. Nice walks in the area. Remote location so ideal for some but not everyone's cup of tea. Close to perfect for us and we had a great stay. The lodge is first class compared to other sites we have stayed at. Great for winding down and chilling out.

Beautiful lodges, hot tub and sauna are fantastic.
Date of stay: 15th December 2014
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. In general the staff were helpful but we did feel the welcome from lady on reception was not very welcoming and when we checked out she did not ask us if we enjoyed our stay or any of the usual 'haste ye back' chat which did leave us feeling a bit flat. Maybe she was just very busy!
Scot, Aberdeen
Date of stay: 12th December 2014
The hideaway lodge was perfect. It was incredibly clean and the hot tub was great, even when it was snowing. During the holiday we had zero signal on our mobiles and the Lodge itself could have done with a phone but other than that it was fantastic. We would definitely stay there again.
Rhona, Falkirk
Date of stay: 8th December 2014
The lodge as i have already said was lovely i just felt the lighting inside would be better if it could've been dimmed. The sofa was placed right in front of the tv, we felt that could have been put in a better position! Bed was lovely and comfortable though, bathroom a lovely size but when my husband had a shower on Sunday he had no hot water to rinse himself off luckily he didn't wash his hair!! Hot tub was lovely too just felt it a tad too hot!! Cooker was awesome!!!
Emma, Weston Super Mare

Stuart, Forres
Date of stay: 15th September 2014
Very nice stay at the lodge thought initally the wee notices with rules pinned in various places through the lodge were a bit unwelcoming.
Food at hotel was excellent and could not me faulted. Best steak for a long time.
Jane, Blandford Forum
Date of stay: 18th August 2014
The jets in the hot tub were blocked so it didn't work correctly. When we addressed this with the site manager she told us that this was how a hot tub should work. We have stayed at many sites with hot tubs and even had the same model of hot tub before, and know that the jets were not working correctly. It is a shame for future customers that they did not seem to want to fix the problem.

One of the nicest, modern lodges that i have stayed in. Everything the you could possibly need is in the lodge. Peaceful surrounding. Only downside was that neither the lodge or hotel had a mobile phone signal however they do have a pay phone in the hotel. Would highly recommend.

Date of stay: 6th June 2014
Unable to turn off the underfloor heating therefore far too warm at night. People from lower chalets were using Ogilvy area as a shortcut to hill therefore it was not as private as we would have liked.

Superb lodge, immaculate. Staff warm and friendly. Dog friendly with some lovely walks in the glen.
Beth, Aberdeen
Date of stay: 18th April 2014
Lodge amazing! 3 comfy bedrooms - 2 ensuite and another bathroom beside the upstairs bedrooms. A bit disappointed we had twin rooms after having both phoned and e-mailed to ask for doubles but the beds were very comfy so not a big deal. Kitchen was very well equipped - way more than in other self catering places. Sauna n hot tub were what attracted us - I have to say the hot tub was a bit disappointing (we have one and ours produces way more bubbles!), but lovely to sit in after a few beers. I'd add a table top patio heater - but I don't know if that's ok health&safety-wise!! I'd also put in a proper BBQ. These are minor things - way better than anything else in Scotland I've stayed in for the money.
Date of stay: 11th April 2014

Log cabin has everything you need the kitchen utensils and pots and pans etc had everything you could possibly wAnt plus more , hot tub cleaning regime is very strict cabin was immaculate on arrival
Very enjoyable week, fantastic location. Lodge just a wee bit tired in some places, a few lightbulbs not working. Hot tub great but one of the headrests was broken. Hotel first class for drinks and dinner.
The most beautiful place for our honeymoon
The location was amazing and we will certainly be coming back in the summer months. There was so much to do and see without having to get in the car. My only one recommendation would be to have some form of retail shop selling basics within the resort, so that if you wanted to be completely car free then you could.
Stunning. Will be back. Loved it
Stunning scenery, peaceful setting, outstandingly clean throughout (which is v important to us!) and great walking in the hills surrounding.
Amazing weekend in the snow ⛄️ will definitely return.
Ideal place for a relaxing weekend. The lodge was better than we expected and the scenery was absolutely stunning. Will definitely be returning in the future.
We had a good time had to stay an extra day, because we got caught in the snow, and was snowed in but wasnt complaining the hot tub and sauna was amazing.
Absolutely fantastic week in the cabin. Only down fall was no WiFi in the cabin. Would definitely not put me off booking up again to go back.
Relaxed away from it all, plenty of beautiful walks surrounded by the best scenery. It was nice not to have WiFi or telephone connection for a few days..... Unless of course you needed when having a drink at the hotel in the warm inviting bar.
an amazing place to visit. perfect place to relax. very secluded but 30 mins and to can get to kerrimuir.
We had a great time celebrating my husbands birthday. It was made all the more special by the snowfall that greeted us on the Saturday morning. The lodge was very warm and comfortable and we made good use of the hot tub and sauna.
Fabulous location. Friendly helpful staff. Beautiful lodge. Clean and spacious. Everything thought disregarding provisions ect.1000 per cent recommended. Clogs is responsible for one of my happiest ever family memories...
Wonderful weekend spent in a Glen Lodge. It was everything that we wanted and more. Can not recommend it highly enough.
