"We had a fantastic stay at this lovely place, nestled in a super private spot. The owners were genuinely friendly and always willing to help if we needed anything, but it still felt really peaceful. The hot tub was a real highlight after a long day of cycling - perfect! One thing to note is that the cottage sits directly under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much after getting used to it, but its worth considering if noise bugs you. Overall, a great find!"

"We had a lovely stay at this cottage, tucked away on a working farm but still super private. Robert and Sharon are such lovely hosts, making us feel really welcome. The place is huge and well-equipped, especially the kitchen and bathroom, which made everything easy. The bed was super comfy too. The gardens really peaceful, dog-proof and furnished nicely. Plenty of nice walks nearby and we enjoyed dining out at The Star and The Maypole in Thaxted. Definitely recommend it!"

The place itself is spotless, warm and super cosy, with a great shower and comfy beds. Parking right next to the cottage was a real bonus and we enjoyed peaceful walks through the fields to Thaxted, with its pretty half-timbered houses and windmill. Definitely a place wed return to!"
