We really enjoyed our stay at Ellon Cottage. It’s such a cosy, comfy spot with all the amenities you could need. The privacy is greatand the view is lovely. The hot tub was definitely a highlight. We'd happily return again!

The scenery from the cottage is stunning, with a clear view of Cairngorm and the valley. Upstairs ceilings are quite low, so mind your head, but the beds are really comfy. It’s cosy overall, though a bit of an update, especially the bathroom, wouldn’t hurt.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage! The location is perfect, with stunning views and a peaceful vibe. The place was spotlessly clean, well-equippedand super comfy. We loved watching the woodcock roosting every night, along with spotting roe deer, siskinsand even a buzzard. The sloping ceilings in the bedrooms took some getting used to, but it was clearly mentioned in the description, so no surprises there. Overall, a fantastic spot to unwind!

Overall, a few minor hiccups, but we really enjoyed our evenings soaking in the hot tub, surrounded by nature’s sounds. Truly memorable. Can’t wait to come back! The setting is absolutely stunning, making it a perfect getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location is perfect, with breathtaking views and great walking routes right outside. The decor and antiques added charmand the hot tub was a lovely touch after exploring. The boot room was super handy. Nethy Bridge is also a gem!

We had such a lovely stay at this cosy little cottage! Even with the weather being a bit gloomy and rainy, it didn’t dampen our spirits. The wood burners in both the kitchen and lounge really made it feel warm and homely - we definitely want to come back. It’s only about 10 minutes to Nethy Bridge, where the local shop and Nethy House café provided everything we needed. The farm shop nearby also has fantastic meat and pies for cooking up a treat. Really enjoyed it!

We had a lovely stay! The house was spotless and fully equipped - everything a family could ask for. The hot tub was a real treat, especially on chilly nights under the stars. The location is stunning, perfect for walks and exploring nearby spots. The welcome pack and wood were thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. We’d definitely come back!

We had a fantastic stay here! From the moment we arrived on a chilly afternoon, the cottage felt instantly warm and inviting, no need to light the fire. It’s a charming little place in a stunning spot, with everything we needed and it’s clearly well looked after. The hot tub was a real treat after a day exploring the mountains. We loved the peace and quiet, exactly what we wanted. Plus, nearby towns like Aviemore and Grantown-On-Spey made it perfect for shops. We’ll definitely return!

Absolutely loved our stay at Ellon Cottage! The location is just breathtaking, with stunning mountain views right from the hot tub-perfect for winter relaxations. The cottage itself feels really cosy, beautifully decoratedand has everything you could need. The hosts were incredibly helpful, making sure we had all the info and essentials. Only a short drive to Nethy Bridge and the Cairngorms, so plenty to explore. We’re already planning our next visit-can’t wait to return!

The views are stunningand the hot tub is lovely-just give it some time to warm up in the afternoon! The place was spotless, with a well-equipped kitchen and a cosy lounge. Underfloor heating in the bathroom was a real treat. The low roof upstairs isn’t a big deal if you don’t mind bending a bit!

We had a lovely stay here in March 2023, perfect for bird watching. From the patio, we spotted White Tailed Eagles, Ravens, Black Grouse, Redpollsand Goshawks. The location is fantasticand the place itself was cosy, cleanand well-equipped. The low ceilings upstairs took a bit of getting used to, but it wasn’t a big deal. The owners were really laid-back, which we appreciated. A great break!

We stayed at Ellon Cottage and really enjoyed it. The location is peaceful, with beautiful views of the Cairngorms, yet it’s just a short drive to Nethy Bridge. The cottage has loads of character, is nicely decoratedand feels cosy. We loved spotting wildlife - a White-Tailed Eagle soared right overheadand we saw a pair of Golden Eagles in the distance. The walks from the doorstep are greatand we’d definitely come back again. Truly a lovely place to stay!
