This two bedroom lodge is ideal for a for families or couples, as both bedrooms can be made up as either doubles or twins (please request at time of booking if beds are to be twins or double), and both benefit from modern en suite shower rooms. The modern open-plan living area boasts a fitted kitchen, dining table, living area with TV and gorgeous views across the pond.

"We stayed in a really nice chalet that was super well-kept. The kitchen was fantastic - really well stocked and easy to use. The living space was thoughtfully laid out, making it feel cosy but functional. Privacy was great and the hot tub was spotless, which we loved. Only tiny gripe was the bedroom lighting - it was quite dim, even after staff replaced the bulb quickly. Definitely one of the best places we've stayed around here!"
"We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge, especially the outdoor space with views of the pond - its such a tranquil setting! The interior was modern and tastefully decorated, making it feel cosy yet stylish. The hot tub was a real highlight; perfect for unwinding after a day out. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfy, we slept like logs. That said, the cleanliness could have been better - found a dusty T-shirt on top of the fridge and one toilet bowl was a bit grubby. Still, wed come back!"

Wallingford was a very enjoyable village . Museum very interesting if you have no idea of area. Helpful staff .

"The Resort is quite new and all the grounds have yet to mature, with develpment still taking place on further lodges & cabins, which in no way effected our stay, and the Club house was quite handy for good food & drink with helpful staff, also Resort is in good location for touring the Chilterns. Some small bits will get sorted (like recycling etc.) as the site progresses like the Darwin site we have used in Derbyshire."

Lodge was brand new and super clean.
The surroundings were beautiful, our balcony overlooked the water with swans and lots of bird life. Lots of red kites to watch!
The hot tub was checked twice daily and really clean.
Staff were brilliant and so friendly. Treatments at the spa were superb and the golf course was great!
Kitchen was well equipped, coffee machine as well.
Walking footpaths nearby, and the village of Wallingford very pretty.

Bekonscot in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, is a model village built at one inch to one foot and opened to the public in 1929. It is commonly described as the oldest surviving model village in the UK. Its miniature villages capture rural English life in the 1930s, with a cathedral, castle, airport, zoo and cricket match, plus shops with punning names such as Miss A. Stitch the dressmaker.

Windsor Castle is a royal residence in Berkshire, founded by William the Conqueror in the 11th century. The grounds cover 13 acres and combine a fortress, a palace and a small town.
Tip: The castle sits at the top of a steep hill and much of the site is outdoors, so wear comfortable shoes and allow for long walking distances.

Didcot Railway Centre is a railway museum and preservation site run by the Great Western Society on the grounds of a former Great Western Railway engine shed and locomotive depot. It works as both a steam locomotive museum and an engineering maintenance centre, and offers short rides on its railway line.
Tip: Arriving via Didcot Parkway station brings you into the southern end of the site, by the coaling stage ramp.

Merton College is one of the University of Oxford's oldest colleges, founded in 1264 by Walter de Merton. Visitors can explore the four quads and the College Chapel on Merton Street, just off the High Street in central Oxford. An admission brochure includes a map to guide you round.
