Bron Eifion Lodges Reviews

"We recently spent four lovely nights at Bron Eifion Lodges with our dog and honestly, it was a great stay! After reading some reviews post-booking, we were a bit worried about whether our chosen accommodation would live up to expectations, but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were genuinely friendly and made everything so easy. The cabin was spotless, comfortable and had pretty much everything we needed - though a drying rack wouldve been handy since the washing machine was so useful! Watching the sunset and star-gazing from the hot tub, with the sound of pheasants in the background, was a real highlight. The lakeside views, especially with the steam rising in the morning, felt truly magical. Plus, having your own parking space right outside the lodge was a bonus. The electricity was metered and we only spent about £10 over the whole stay, which made us more mindful of our usage. Its so peaceful and surrounded by nature - perfect for dog walks and relaxing in the hot tub. Wed definitely come back!"
Alex - Mar 2025
"Can't wait to come back! Beautiful views, friendly staff and lovely beaches-such good value for money. Cheers!"
Jess - Mar 2025
"Honestly, we were pretty disappointed. The worktops had chunks missing, the cooker and pans looked grimy and there was a strong urine smell. The sofa cushions were stained and the bedroom mirror was taped at the back. The bathroom's hot tap also kept failing to work. Not what we expected at all."
Emily Carter - Mar 2025
"Great staff, really helpful, decent fishing, will return soon!"
Emma Carter - Feb 2025
"Our Bron Eifion Lodges review: We stayed at the lodge recently and found it pretty well stocked with all the appliances we needed. It could definitely use a good deep clean and the mattress in the master bedroom was quite thin, but we managed to get a decent sleep after giving it a quick tidy ourselves. The hot tub was a highlight-nice and warm when we arrived, even if the jets werent that powerful. Overall, for the price, it was a fair stay and we enjoyed the view of the trees."
Emma - Nov 2024
"The place was alright for what we needed, but honestly, it could use a proper clean and some fixing up. Definitely room for improvement, really!"
Alex - Sep 2024
"The lodge was really dirty and so was the equipment."
Emma Carter - Aug 2024
"Decent place, but honestly, its pretty dated and definitely needs some serious TLC. Not very clean either."
Emma Clarke - Aug 2024
"We stayed for a long weekend of golf and it was alright. The lodge felt a bit worn out and there was a dog smell, but honestly, it didnt ruin our trip at all."
James - Jul 2024
"We had a lovely time staying here. Carol really went the extra mile for us. The cabin was super cosy and our dog loved it too! The lake was so peaceful, though the road was a bit bumpy with potholes. Still, a great break overall. Thanks!"
Emma - Jul 2024
"Weve visited Cedron Lodge numerous times and it always ticks all the boxes for us."
Rachel - Jun 2024
"Great place, felt really at home. Perfect for a chill break!"
Rachel - Mar 2024
"The cabin was pretty spotless and well-kept, which was great. We loved the spa and the quiet atmosphere, just a heads-up about the wet dog smell though-bring some Febreze! The lack of a dishwasher was a bit of a pain and the £1 electric meter adds up quickly, but overall, a decent self-catering spot for a getaway."
James - Feb 2024
"The lodge could use some updates, but honestly, I really enjoyed my stay!"
Sarah Montgomery - Nov 2023
"Really enjoyed staying here, the cabins are super close to the fishing spots! Enjoyed it a lot."
Emma Carter - Nov 2023
"The place is pretty straightforward, but it has all you need. The curtains looked quite faded and the cookers dials are worn out from over-cleaning, so no numbers left. Still, everything functioned fine. Wed stay again for sure. Checked out next doors place which seemed a bit more modern with a lovely log burner-definitely considering that next time!"
Emma - May 2022
"Really enjoyed it, will definitely return soon."
Emma - May 2022
"Honestly, its not fancy but it ticks all the boxes. The place is clean and in great shape, so you can relax and enjoy your stay. We cooked for two nights and everything we needed was there - no fuss. The nearby Cricceth for takeout is handy too. The hot-tub was the highlight, always spotless and working perfectly. Its simple, but we had a lovely time overall!"
Emily Carter - Apr 2022
"We loved the spaciousness of this lodge, perfect for a relaxing break. The three bedrooms suited us well. Sure, the creaky floors were a bit annoying, but that's just how wooden lodges are. Definitely recommend!"
James - Apr 2022
"The lodge was spotless overall, just a few tiny mould patches on the shower sealant. The mattress took some getting used to, as it was quite springy at first."
Emma - Apr 2022
"Really loved how warm and inviting it was."
Emma - Feb 2022
"The place was quite disappointing overall. Tied building, not very clean, with cobwebs up high and mould in some spots. The fridge was packed and the washing machine was broken. Only half the lightbulbs worked. Needs proper maintenance to really shine. Could be great eventually."
Alex - Feb 2022
"We loved staying here! The place is super peaceful and our dogs felt totally at ease away from busy roads. Handy spot to explore, only a short drive to the beach. Really comfy lodge too."
Oliver Green - Nov 2021
"Really spacious lodge with loads of seating and all the appliances needed."
David - Nov 2021
"Really impressed with the setup, perfect for me and my son to fish together."
James - Aug 2020
"Really enjoyed the stay, such a calm spot and the staff were super friendly despite restrictions."
Emma - Aug 2020
"Really enjoyed our stay, the pod was super comfy and spotlessly clean!"
Emma - Aug 2020
"The pod was perfect for a quick getaway, though the weather was a letdown, so we didnt get to sit outside and soak up the views like we hoped. Still, lovely stay!"
Harriet - Jul 2020
"Very cosy place, loved the vibes."
Emma - Mar 2020
"We had such a lovely stay at this cosy pod with a hot tub. Its great value and super private, no noises apart from the woodpeckers which added to the peaceful vibe. Perfect for a relaxing break. Highly recommend if you're after some proper chill time!"
Emily - Mar 2020

Stuart - Jul 2022
"Had a really good holiday, really nice location and great pod. The hot tub was amazing feature. Thank you. Would definitely recommend to anyone."
Charlotte - Jul 2022
"Fantastic stay overall! Very warm welcome on arrival and shown all amenities. Pod was clean and well presented and had everything a person could need. I liked that the kitchen had all utensils available and had a real homely feel. Very close to town and local attractions. A gentle 20 minute stroll into town for dinner and to paddle in the sea. View from pod was amazing especially on a clear evening when you can sit in the hot tub with a glass of bubbly!"
Emily - Jul 2022
"I went here with my girlfriend for her birthday & we needed a getaway that was peaceful but fun at the same time. This fit that agenda perfectly! Couldn’t of asked for a better holiday."
