Surrounded by golf courses, rolling hills and woods, and just a short walk from the lively local town of Blairgowrie, this peaceful park is beautifully placed for a variety of activities - from hill walking to pony trekking. It's also close to the Glenshee Ski slopes if you're looking for a fantastic winter break.
There's a good choice of shops, bars and restaurants in Blairgowrie and if you head to Perth, you'll find lots to do and some lovely restaurants - Deans @ Let's Eat offers locally sourced traditional Scottish cooking in a great atmosphere. The area is a golfer's paradise with courses at Gleneagles, St Andrews and Carnoustie all within a short drive.
Blairgowrie offers a choice of luxury caravans and pine lodges, beautifully equipped with flat screen TVs and Freeview. One of our favourites is the contemporary Firs Deluxe Lodge - with room for six people, it has a spacious living area and an outdoor deck with private hot tub.
Sports and activity enthusiasts could head for Nae Limits in Balliniuig for outdoor adventures, including the Adventure Tubes, the River Bugs and white water rafting.
