Anglesey Lakeside Lodges Reviews

"We loved the peaceful vibe and beautiful surroundings, perfect for nature fans. The lodge was comfy, just a bit worn in spots, but overall really nice and close to everything we needed. Definitely recommend for a relaxing break!"
Emma Carter - Apr 2025
"The lodge was spotless, super comfy and had everything we needed for a relaxing break."
Emma - Mar 2025
"We stayed at Bodafon Lodge for the first time and honestly, were already planning to come back! The spot right by the lake is just stunning. Its so cosy and well-equipped - honestly, it felt like a home away from home. Perfect for us and our dog, Dora. We loved it!"
Emma - Mar 2025
"We absolutely loved our stay here. The lodges peaceful setting was perfect for relaxing and the bed was super comfy. Olwen was so friendly and attentive, making everything feel really special. Definitely recommend!"
Jess - Mar 2025
"Our Anglesey Lakeside Lodges review: Our first time at Menai Lodge, but weve stayed at Lakeside Lodges a few times now. Honestly, the place is spot on - super clean, warm and the views from the lounge are just breathtaking, especially looking out over the lake and countryside. We made good use of the hot tub every day; its perfectly tucked away at the back for privacy and watching the sunset from there was a proper treat. Olwen was really friendly and helpful too. Were already planning to come back!"
Fiona Carter - Mar 2025
"Really enjoyed the quiet and views"
Emily - Mar 2025
"Really enjoyed our stay here. The lodge was cosy and well-equipped, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Well be back!"
Emma Clarke - Feb 2025
"The lodge was super comfortable and well equipped, making it perfect for a chill-out. The scenery around was absolutely stunning too. No complaints at all!"
Emma Roberts - Feb 2025
"We stayed at this lodge recently and honestly, its pretty impressive. The place is spacious with two floors and having three bathrooms is a real perk-two ensuite upstairs and another downstairs with a shower. The kitchens super well-stocked and the big fridge and freezer came in handy. The living room has a massive 55-inch TV, two comfy leather sofas and side tables, making it perfect for relaxing. The dining table fits four easily and theres a porch with loads of space for our gear. The covered terrace overlooking the lake and the hot tub are just lovely. The place is very private, spotless and comfy with plenty of parking. Wed definitely recommend it!"
Alex - Feb 2025
"At first, the holiday info did seem a bit overwhelming and we thought some of it couldve been on the booking site to help ease the stress. But once we arrived, wow! The entire site felt so peaceful, quiet and spotless. Finding our lodge was a breeze and check-in was hassle-free, even for one person. As soon as we stepped inside, we loved it-cleanliness was top-notch and it had everything we needed plus some nice little extras. The bottle of fizz and the table set-up with tea, coffee and cleaning supplies were thoughtful touches. There were plenty of towels, blankets and toiletries, including toilet roll, so no worries there. The hot tub was pristine and perfect for unwinding after chilly evenings. The patio was serene and we loved spotting the kingfisher every morning. The location isnt far from the town, with loads of places to eat if you dont fancy cooking (which, by the way, had plenty of utensils). We did go out a bit, but mostly we just chilled in the lodge - honestly, we didnt want to leave! Were already planning to come back. Thanks for a lovely stay, it really was just what we needed!"
Ellie - Feb 2025
"Anglesey Lodge really is a good place! The location is perfect for a peaceful escape, with stunning lake views that never get old. The hot tubs a real treat after a long day - perfect for unwinding and gazing at the stars. Well definitely be back!"
Emma Carter - Feb 2025
"Bed was a bit too firm for my liking, but personal preference I guess."
Emma Clarke - Feb 2025
"Wouldve liked more comfy sofas and a smart TV downstairs, really missing that!"
Emma Carter - Jan 2025
"The holiday was great overall, but we did notice the hot tubs chlorine levels were a bit too high."
Claire - Dec 2024
"This lodge is truly something special. We've stayed at other lakeside places, but Annog really stands out!"
James - Dec 2024
"We had such a lovely stay! The lodge was really well equipped and the hot tub was a lovely bonus. The only bit that was a bit frustrating was how slow the heating was to warm up, but the log burner definitely made a difference. We also saw our first ever Red Squirrel and a stunning Kingfisher most days. Communication was spot on and super helpful. Cant wait to return in the summer!"
Emma - Dec 2024
"Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely return."
Tom - Dec 2024
"The lodge had all we needed, felt just like being at home. Beds were super comfy, loved the location!"
Emma - Nov 2024
"We had an amazing time at this place! Its really well-kept, almost like a home away from home, with all the facilities you could need. The outdoor hot tub on the decking is such a lovely touch and perfect for relaxing in privacy. The location is just spot on - peaceful but close enough to shops and everything else. Snowdons only about half an hour away too. We stayed a week and honestly, it wasnt long enough-I didnt want to leave! The hosts were super friendly and helpful as well."

"We honestly loved our stay here! The location is just stunning, so peaceful and tucked away in nature. The hot tub was a real treat after a day exploring and everything was just so relaxing. The Four Crosses pub is nearby, less than ten minutes drive and the food there was lovely. Its not far from shops either, so very handy. Well definitely be returning to this good place - its pure tranquility and we couldnt ask for more!"
Emily Carter - Oct 2024
"We really appreciated how the owners tailored their cleaning to help our asthmatic daughter. The only downside was the mattress on the double bed-felt a bit too firm for us, but overall, a good stay!"
Emma Carter - Oct 2024
"We had such a lovely stay at this lodge! After battling non-stop rain during our drive, walking in felt like a proper treat - warm welcome and little touches like Prosecco, nibbles and even Denti Stix for our dog. The kitchen was fully equipped, with everything we needed and the beds were made up perfectly. We only used the hot tub once, but it was fantastic. The owners were really easy to communicate with and were already looking forward to coming back. Would definitely recommend!"
Harriet - Oct 2024
"We stayed in Annog lodge. So quiet and peaceful. Saw geese, herons, kingfishers, ducks, swallows. Take a fishing rod there’s loads of carp. Kids loved catching them. Loads to do in surrounding area.
