About Silver Birch at Forest of Dean

Tired of holiday rentals where you have to wear three jumpers indoors? The Silver Birch cabins at Forest of Dean sort that right out with underfloor heating throughout. Toasty toes guaranteed.

Floor-to-ceiling windows flood these timber lodges with light, making you feel like you're in the Gloucestershire woodland even when you're lounging on the sofa.

These single-level cabins are brilliant for anyone who can't be bothered with stairs. We recommend nabbing a morning cuppa and stepping straight out onto the deck thats absolute bliss in the forest air.

Pick from 2 or 3-bedroom options that sleep up to 6 people comfortably. Each cabin rocks a mix of double and twin beds so nobody has to share unless they fancy it.

Two bathrooms mean no queue for the loo and they're stocked with posh L'OCCITANE toiletries that you'll want to slip into your bag before checkout.

The fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need to whip up proper meals. Or just reheat the takeaway – we won't judge.

After a day of exploring, sink into your private hot tub while watching the sun filter through silver birch trees.

Clearwell Caves is just 10 minutes away where you can channel your inner potholer without actually having to squeeze through any tight spots.

Puzzlewood's ancient, moss-covered rocks are a mere 10-minute drive. They filmed a Doctor Who episode there. For proper old-school fun, the Dean Forest Railway (12 mins) lets you pretend you're in a period drama for an afternoon.

The views from Symonds Yat (15 mins) are worth the drive alone. Perch on the rock outcrop and you can see for miles across the Wye Valley. Just hold onto your sandwiches or the peregrine falcons might nick them.
