Ladys Mile Holiday Park Reviews

"Nice caravan , but mattresses not very good , other wise quite comfy"

"A small, basic caravan. No room for a travel cot if going with young ones and so, a bed has to be removed from one of the other rooms so the travel cot can fit it there but then this leaves no room to move in that room so daughter was limited. Bedroom light didnt work and front door was really difficult to lock - this didn't bother us but I'm sure if we informed reception, it would have been sorted. The caravan is literally right next to the main road outside the holiday park so it is loud - difficult to get to sleep therefore, limited having windows open at night as sounds like a motorway ????Decking outside the caravan with bench and seats - this was really good as it meant could leave the front door open and the baby could safely play as the gate locked. The main path up to the caravan is pitch black at night (when you pass the tents and play park) so take a torch or make sure you have charge on your phone - we didn't know this the first night!Fridge freezer, microwave, cooker, oven, etc. included - a good little kitchen with a little welcome pack including cloth and washing up liquid. Overall, it was okay."

"Caravan met our needs. Lovely touch of supplying washing up liquid, scourer, bin bags."

"Beautiful inside and out loved everything about the lodge would definitely recommend to anyone"

"Our Ladys Mile Holiday Park review: Clean tidy lovely spacious peaceful ideal for my little dog close to everything too and modern"

"The caravan was spotless and everything was in good working order. Total value for money."

"Lovely to have the hot tub only downside would of like a mop in lodge to clean up water when entering from hot tub"

"Excellent caravan with all the things youll need. Took me a while to find the thermostat though for the heating. Hot tub amazing."

"We had a lovely stay at this good place! The location is so peaceful and private, yet the owners are really friendly and always there if you need anything. The hot tub was such a treat after a long day of cycling. One thing to keep in mind, the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but honestly, it didnt affect our holiday much. Overall, a great find!"

"Good size caravan, nice balcony and picnic table outside. Lovely and clean. Stayed warm. Bathroom small but adequate, be careful of radiator as right by shower door. Could do with hooks on door.Second bedroom will be tight for 2 adults but great for kids. Possibly more tea spoons but untensils overall good."

"We had such a lovely stay! The hosts were genuinely kind and went out of their way to help us, which made everything so much easier. The cottage itself is a real gem-charming and cosy, with a great shower and a comfy bed. Parking right next to the property was a real bonus and the place was spotlessly clean. Plus, the location is perfect for walking to Thaxted and exploring nearby villages with those pretty half-timbered houses and windmills. Wed definitely come back!"

"Friends stayed here and thought it was nice. All basic needs met and it was clean"

"Great place, had everything we needed for a relaxing break."

"We had a great stay in the mobile home! It was spotless and smelled lovely, thanks to the plug-in air freshener. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was plenty of space for us and our two dogs. We really appreciated the enclosed decking area, so the dogs could roam freely without escaping. It was peaceful where we stayed but still close enough to the main facilities if we needed them. Overall, a very relaxing spot!"

"We really enjoyed our stay. The place was immaculate and had everything we needed, including a handy welcome pack. The hot tub was fantastic and ready upon arrival. Plenty of room for our family of four and the jets were a lovely touch!"

"Plenty of space. Good standard of cleanliness. Well stocked with what was required. Welcome pack of cleaning and dish washing items. And hot tub was brill. Ready to go for when we arrived. Spacious for family of 4 and good jets."

"We recently stayed here and honestly, the park is lovely and definitely worth recommending. The only hiccup was the neighbouring lodges hot tub, which kept activating its jets all night long - it was pretty noisy in our van, like having a generator right next to you! We tried talking to reception about it, but they didnt seem too bothered. You go on holiday to unwind, not to be kept awake by loud jets. In the end, we just got used to it, but it was a bit annoying. Still, overall, a nice spot!"

"Absolutely loved our stay! The owners really went above and beyond, making everything so easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend!"

"We loved our stay at this charming little hideaway! The setting is so peaceful and private, yet the owners are super friendly and nearby if you need anything. The hot tub was a real treat after a long day cycling around. Only thing to keep in mind is that the cottage is under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of plane noise. It didnt bother us after a while, but if you're sensitive to noise, its worth noting. Overall, a lovely spot wed happily return to!"

"Nice location not to far from the club house and shop"

"We had such a relaxing stay in this lovely little spot. The location is beautifully private, perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle. The owners were super friendly and really helpful whenever we needed anything, yet they respected our privacy completely. The hot tub was a real treat after a long day cycling around the area. Just a heads up, the cottage is under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much once we got used to it, but if you're sensitive to noise, its worth considering. Wed definitely come back!"

"We had such a lovely stay! The owners were genuinely warm and helpful, making us feel very welcome. The cottage itself is adorable, with a charming half-timbered look, spotlessly clean and super cosy inside. The shower was powerful and the bed was really comfy-perfect after a day exploring. Parking right next to the cottage was a huge plus. We enjoyed lovely walks across the fields to Thaxted, which is full of quaint houses and a windmill. Definitely recommend!"

"The owners were genuinely lovely and really went the extra mile when the storm knocked out the power. The cottage was spotless, warm and well-equipped. Our dog loved the enclosed garden and we enjoyed the hot tub too!"

"Would of been nice for the kitchen to have a dish washer even a half size one Considering we had a three bed static with decking and small hot tub Everything else all good"

"We had such a fantastic stay! The kids loved running around in the safe, open space and the staff couldn't have been more friendly. The lodge was really spacious and well-equipped, making our holiday relaxed and enjoyable. The highlight was definitely the hot tub - absolute bliss! Wed definitely come back again, no doubt about it. A really lovely place overall."

"Really enjoyed our stay, the place was cosy and perfect for relaxing."

"We absolutely loved our stay here! The setting is truly stunning and super private, which made it feel like a real escape. The owners were so friendly and always there if we needed anything, but it never felt intrusive. The hot tub was a real highlight after a long day of cycling - such a treat! One thing to keep in mind is the noise from Stansteds planes; its loud at first, but we got used to it pretty quickly and it didnt ruin our trip at all. Definitely recommend!"

"Really enjoyed our stay, the place had everything needed!"

"The place was perfect for us and our dog, super peaceful and safe for pets too."

"Loved it from start to finish plenty to do for kids every day an entertainment every night look forward to coming back"

"Loved visiting lady's Mile, lots for the kids to do on site, they loved sleeping in the safari tent! The tent had hanging space for the kids clothes but none in our bedroom, that was the only downside. Lots to do and visit near by. Staff lovely and friendly. We had a great week there xx"

"Very relaxing week away, spotlessly clean caravan upon our arrival, the site is well kept, it's grown massively since I was last there."

"Was lovely holiday, staff really friendly just not that professional on arrival as we can late. Didn't seem to be very welcoming at all. Other than that, brilliant location, good facilities just slightly disappointed a few things were broke and had been for a long time. Location was really good, couldn't fault it at all."

"If your next to the road it's very noisy, unless your used to that I wasn't"

"Everything lovely could do with a lounger on decking lovely and clean"

"Wonderful cant fault it"

"Lovely resort in a great setting, perfect for young families, soft play, arcades and beach nearby with rides"

"Lovely caravan and the staff were great. Especially the lady on reception"
