Loch Awe Holiday Park Reviews

"Our caravan was clean, comfortable, well-equipped and nicely furnished with a welcome pack. The location was quiet and handy for the garage with its shop and walks and towns nearby. The staff were friendly and courteous and we would book again."

"Our Loch Awe Holiday Park review: Absolutely beautiful caravan park so relaxing and peaceful spotlessly clean and I cannot find any faults. Can't wait to return."

"Overall, we had a great stay. The caravan was spotless and really modern, with comfy beds we didnt want to leave. Only downside was the oven, which took ages to cook dinner and the water pressure couldve been better. Still, lovely place!"

"We had a fantastic long weekend, totally chilled out with lovely people all around. Definitely planning to return, maybe even stay a bit longer next time. Absolutely brilliant!!"

"High standard of equipment with WiFi.Exactly as described on the site.Decking for outside relaxation or enjoying a drink."

"We really appreciated the upgrade when we arrived - made a great first impression! The lodge felt spacious with two bedrooms, a cosy lounge and a lovely patio overlooking the river. The main bedroom had an ensuite which was handy, especially after muddy walks. Parking right outside was super convenient too. Definitely recommend!"

"We genuinely enjoyed our stay, though the weather let us down a bit. The park could really use a larger dining space. No major issues, definitely would recommend it to others!"

"We recently spent a few days at Loch Awe Caravan Park with our two kids and honestly, it was brilliant! The caravan was spotless and had a really cosy feel, with a modern look that made it feel welcoming. Everything we needed was there, from kitchen gear to comfy beds and the space was just right for us. The location is perfect - close enough to Oban for day trips but still tucked away enough to enjoy the stunning views of Loch Awe and the hills. The best part, though, was the staff. When the lock on our door jammed, they sorted it out super quick, without any fuss. They were friendly and professional, making us feel really looked after. All in all, Loch Awe Caravan Park strikes a great balance between comfort, scenery and ease of access. Wed definitely recommend it to other families and are already looking forward to coming back again!"

"The space was a bit tight for our big family, but we found it comfy enough. The park was pretty peaceful when we visited, with plenty to explore around. Not bad at all!"

"We had such a lovely stay! The cottage was spotless and really well stocked, making everything so easy. The dog walks right outside were perfect for our furry friends. The host was super friendly and quick to reply. Meeting the farm animals, especially Penelope the pig, was a real highlight. Definitely coming back! Great value and highly recommend."

"Beautiful location, perfect for relaxing and exploring! Would recommend."

"Great vibe, would recommend"

"Overall, we had a great stay! The place was spotless and well-equipped, with a washer/dryer perfect for hot tub towels and a dishwasher that made life easier. The decking gets sun all day, which is lovely and there's plenty of room for a BBQ outside. The only thing missing was a coat hook near the door, which wouldve been handy. Still, wed come back!"

"We enjoyed our stay overall, though the weather couldve been kinder. The parks dining options are quite limited - a proper sized eating area would make a big difference. Still, wed recommend it!"

"Great experience, highly recommend"

"We recently stayed in a pretty new caravan and honestly, it was quite spacious and well kitted out. The two bathrooms are a real bonus for families, making mornings so much easier. There were a few bits of furniture that needed a quick wipe down, but overall, it was very clean. The only downside was no WiFi, so no Netflix for us, which was a bit of a letdown. I called about it and they said itd be fixed in five minutes-never happened, but it wasnt a biggie for us."

"Really enjoyed our stay here, lovely views and perfect for groups or families alike."

"Great value for money, absolutely recommend to everyone."

"We had a fantastic long weekend, full of chill vibes and friendly people everywhere. Definitely coming back, maybe for a bit longer next time! Absolutely loved it!!"

"Cant wait to visit again soon!"

"We had a lovely holiday, enjoying the peacefulness of the site and exploring lively Oban, along with the beautiful castles and gardens nearby. Great trip!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this peaceful spot, surrounded by stunning views. The caravan itself was spotless, warm and comfy - plus, they even threw in a free tea towel pack which was a nice touch! The site looked after really well, they even cleaned all the static vans, even though they were already tidy. Our static had a lovely decking with table and chairs, perfect for soaking up the sunshine. The only thing was the extra £7.50 daily charge for electricity, which felt a bit unexpected."

"Weve already spread the word among family and friends, telling them to book here. Its affordable and having a local shop next to the caravans felt really handy - like a mini Sainsburys!"

"Loved the vibe, will come back soon!"

"We decided to go for a premier van, mainly because we wanted something fairly new with central heating - perfect for October! The van itself was really comfy and looked lovely, but we did notice some pretty bad stains on the upholstery in the main living area, which was a bit of a letdown. Also, both toilet seats were quite loose. That said, the rest of the van was spotless and well-maintained, so overall it wasnt a huge issue. We mentioned the stains to the staff and they reassured us they were aware and planning to sort it out soon. They also confirmed theyd fix the toilet seats. The staff were super polite and even let us check out a bit later since they didnt have a booking that day - nice touch! The only minor downside was the vans location, which looked out onto the back of the house. The site itself has a lovely view, but that was a bit disappointing. We were told theyre planning to move the premier vans soon to improve that, so its not a big deal. Honestly, these little things wont stop us from coming back!"

"Perfect way to unwind after a busy day."

"The lodge was super cosy and we absolutely adored the hot tub! Great stay."

"We all had a lovely time, beautiful peaceful place"

"Thoroughly enjoyed our trip! Beds in caravan were a little uncomfortable, but they gave us a wee dog package to keep when we arrived which was so lovely. Oven wasn't working on our first night which meant we couldn't cook our dinner which wasn't ideal, however was fixed the next day. Staff so friendly and my dog loved them! Lovely walks fairly closeby. Closest supermarket is about 30 mins away in oban, but their on site little shop is really handy - even has a petrol station. Would recommend for a short break away!"

"Lovely quiet spot at this well maintained site. 20 min drive to Oban with a hotel serving fabulous food half a mile away."

"We had a lovely holiday at loch awe holiday park. Plenty to see and explore near by! Staff where lovely and friendly. Would defo recommend a short trip along the road to Airds bay."

"Beautiful location and the caravan we stayed in was spotlessly clean, staff were very welcoming and friendly with plenty of local information, very dog friendly and the pub/restaurant was only a short walk away along a river path which was also dog friendly and served good value food and drinks, well worth a visit if your in the area"

"Couldn't have asked for a better holiday with my family. Lodge was spectacular the staff even more so. We had an amazing time"

"Fantastic place to take your pet no problems great space to enjoy"

"Absolutely beautiful holiday park. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Caravan was immaculate and the beds were very comfy. Plenty to see and do in the area. We all had a fantastic break away."

"Excellent location for touring the area."

"We stayed here last week and had a lovely time. The staff on sight were very friendly and welcoming. The caravan was really nice and was very clean. It was lovely and quiet.
The place is central to lots of places around.
Will certainly come again"

"Lovely quiet site ideal for touring the Argyle area. Caravan well equipped and clean. Was a little surprised at the extra charge of 35 pounds for fuel, have always has energy price included in total holiday cost. Is this the norm now?"

"Great location and staff very helpful"
