"We stayed at Peel lodge over the Easter holidays with our 2 children and dog, this is the second time weve stayed here. The accommodation was great for our family,The kitchen had all of the tools necessary for cooking a family meal. The lodge was spacious and comfortable. We brought along our fire stick so could access all of our channels, Netflix etc, WiFi worked brilliantly. Hot tub was gorgeous, we had one problem with this as it stopped working due to the adapter, this was repaired within an hour of ringing for assistance which was excellent. The grounds are so stunning with a family of rabbits living close by and lots of different wildlife, so tame and lovely to watch. Only fault I could say is the plumbing seemed quite slow, Showers and water running etc. We will be returning next year for another trip was absolutely fantastic for us."

"Our Parmontley Hall Lodges review: We recently enjoyed a lovely midweek break with our family of six-two adults and four kids aged 10 to 15. The lodge might be a little on the older side, but it has everything we needed and was super comfy. Nights were incredibly peaceful and I honestly had one of the best sleeps in ages. Towels and bedding were all sorted, which is always a plus and the hot tub was spotlessly maintained, adding a real touch of luxury to our stay. Be aware, its about a 20-25 minute drive to local shops and attractions, but honestly, the scenic drive and Roman sites we visited each day made it totally worth it. Wed definitely go back!"

"Booked the Cupola Lodge last minute as we were taking a puppy on his first holiday.Location is excellent if you want to get away from it all, park well looked after staff friendly. Lodge is a great size, the actual lodge was clean apart from in the kitchen.Frying pan / Spatula looked like they had been cleaned in cold water with no washing up liquid as the fat was beaded upon them. Everything had to be washed before using. Mismatched plates, three different types of cutlery etc... was only asthetically displeasing, however a bread knife, one "sharp" knife with a broken tip and some random bandage scissors when self-catering caused practical problems. We normally book with hoeseasons as you know what youre getting but this was below that standard... toilet seat missing front bumpers, one of the hinges on the decking gate completely broken. On the last night, my son dislodged some of the build-up on the hot tub filter grill. We have a lazy Spa at home, so are familiar with the build-up on hot tub filters, this however had clearly not been thoroughly cleaned, due to the amount of build-up and the type of matted hairs that were dislodged not matching any of us.Its a bit of a shame as with a bit of attention it could be greatly improved"

"The lodge was pretty nice overall. We appreciated the peaceful vibe and friendly staff. The outside could use some minor fixes, but nothing major. A good little getaway, would come again!"

"The lodge was fantastic, honestly! The hot tub was spotless and the kitchen was really well-kept, which we appreciated. The space was huge, with two bedrooms, a study and a walk-in wardrobe - plenty of room for everything. Only minor thing was a wobbly table leg in the living room, but it didnt bother us at all. Wed definitely come back!"

"The furniture's a bit worn, but it does the job. The surroundings are stunning and super calming."

"We've just come back from our third visit to Parmontley and it was another great weekend! The place is stunning as always, super clean and the scenery is just breathtaking. The staff are friendly and really helpful. We usually stay in Peel Lodge, but for six of us, Staward was perfect-cozy and a bit more lived in. Cant wait for next year!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. Plenty of space and the fact it has a proper 6-bed setup instead of a sofa bed was a real plus. Showers could be stronger, but overall, wed definitely recommend it for a nice getaway."

"We had a fantastic time! The lodge was really cosy and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The hot tub was a highlight, although it did smell a bit, but Bob was quick to help and always so friendly and approachable. Lovely guy!"

"In a beautiful location. Lodge excellent. No extra facilities ie shop or clubhouse. Very quiet. Great if you want peace and quiet. Nearest pub 2 mile walk. Menu not to our liking but that’s personal choice. Overall got value for money contactless check in superb. Manager always answered phone when rung"

"A lovely lodge on a secluded site by the River Allen. Only 10 lodges on site at the moment, in a field designed for 40 so lots of space. Some facilities on the adjacent caravan park across the river.Local walks restricted by steepness of terrain, but lots of wildlife to observe."
