Riverside Leisure Park Reviews

"Everything youd need with the exception of pasta bowls .they would be a handy addition ."

"Very comfortable and well appointed in a great location."

"We couldnt get the tv to work very well but otherwise we had everything we needed. Van was clean, beds were comfy. Will definitely be back."

"We were not given the caravan we paid for. Disappointed with the cleanliness and no places to put anything in the bathrooms. Very little storage in bedrooms. Only just enough kitchen equipment. Wobbly frying pan. No electricity lead for the tv in the bedroom. Very upset little girls as they could not exchange their tickets won at the arcade as shop not open."

"Our Riverside Leisure Park review: Very impressed with the cleanliness and venue. Will definately return."

"Stunning lodge. Will definitely be back!"

"Comfortable"

"Lovely park, lovely lodge, nice location but disappointed about the swimming pool issue for which there was no apology or warning."

"Seats were damaged windows handles were loose doors wouldn't shut properly looked nothing like the caravan I booked"

"Very good caravan, as described and expected."

"The beds were very comfortable and we had an on suite shower room as well as a family bathroom. The walk in wardrobes were superb and being able to sit out on the balcony was a real plus. Overall an excellent holiday and will definitely be going back."

"Location of caravan was right in the footpath of passers by almost on the main road. Need to turn caravan around so that door is facing the site rather than the road. Nice and clean great value."

"A well appointed and comfortable caravan."

"Lodge clean and spacious, nice well kept site. We have visited quite a few times, never disappoints."

"We had a fantastic stay at this lovely little spot. The setting is so peaceful and private, yet the owners are super friendly and there if you need anything. The hot tub was just what we needed after cycling all day! The only thing to keep in mind is that the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much once we got used to it, but if you're sensitive to noise, its worth considering. Overall, a really enjoyable getaway!"

"Lovely setting. Park is clean and tidy. Any problems are addressed promptly. Perfect base for the Northumberland coast and surrounding countryside."

"The caravan was clean and had everything we needed although it did only have 4 of everything but was supposed to sleep 6."

"Helpful and friendly people. Clean. Walking distance to grocery shop and takeaways. Alnwick garden and Holy Island is worth a visit."

"Enjoyed it overall"

"The holiday was really enjoyable. Even with all the covid stuff, we felt secure and quite happy. The park was spotless and the staff super friendly too."

"Good overall, but curtains let down"

"Not enough seating for 6 people."

"Well put together and Spotless unit"

"Clean, organised and well-made unit. Nice!"

"Caravan was spacious and for the most part clean however it was evident sofa cushions etc hadn't been removed when cleaning as pens and food found underneath.Other than this we had no complaints with the accommodation."

"The caravan was pretty roomy and mostly tidy, but we did notice some cushions hadn't been taken off during cleaning - pens and food were still underneath. Apart from that, we didnt have any other issues with the place."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Goddard Mead! The cottage had everything we needed and the walks right outside were perfect. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. It was a lovely experience overall."

"We loved the overall feel of the place - spacious and cosy, perfect for a relaxing break. That said, it could do with a bit of TLC; the woodwork around the cabin was rotting and had a hole, plus it was covered in dry leaves that hadnt been cleared. The sofas looked quite worn and could use a good clean or replacing. Also, the dining chairs had rips and the bathroom option was a bit misleading since it only had a bath, not a shower. Still, we enjoyed our stay!"

"Really enjoyed the peaceful walk through the fields with the dogs, made our day special!"

"We had a lovely quick getaway, definitely great value for what we paid. The room was spotless and really comfy. Well be returning soon!"

"A fantastic break. Our caravan was in the new part of the park and was immaculately clean. Wi-Fi was very weak which meant we had a complete break from technology??."

"Amazing holiday will Defintely re book"

"This was a beautiful site, the caravan was so clean and little touches of soaps and shower gels and shampoo was really nice. The standard of accommodation was excellent, modern and very comfortable. Customer service was also really good, nothing was a bother and first night we arrived a member of staff came to the caravan to check everything was okay. The bed linen was pristine and excellent quality as were the towels. The pool was great and the gentleman that was running it was really helpful and friendly. The only little suggestion would be a little longer than 45 minutes a day session in the pool, we would have happily paid extra for a pool pass. Other than that the whole holiday was a relaxing in gorgeous surroundings with friendly and professional staff."

"Was very welcoming staff all social and friendly very approachable. Would definitely recommend to all that want a nice relaxing break. Will be visiting again myself."

"Lovely area."

"Loved the caravan and the site. Everyone was helpful and pleasant and all was spotless and clean"

"This was our first time staying at Riverside. The caravan was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We were on the side with new playground which my kids loved. Short walk into town CO-OP near by. The pool was a good size but you do have to book your time. My kids enjoyed the game room but beware you can only collect prizes at specific times which was not posted."

"Excellent site the caravan was as it stated in the brochure. For such a large site it was really peaceful and we had a lovely few days chilling out. We would recommend it to anyone and we'll definitely be going back. Thanks"

"Yes, it was all lovely, we didn't eat in the restaurant, so no score for the below"

"Will definitely recommend to pur friends.
We look forward to returning later in the year."
