"We've just had a really lovely stay at this holiday park.The location was quiet and peaceful. The lodge was immaculate. It probably helped that we picked a good week weather wise to go but I think even if it had been raining we would have still enjoyed it. The swimming pool was a bonus and there was a wonderful restaurant called The Croft which was about a minutes' walk from our lodge, if that, which served really nice food. Our only very minor negative points would be that we were a little disappointed that when we arrived at The Croft on the Tuesday night at 8pm we were told that the chef had finished for the evening and I missed a dressing table in the lodge but these are only very minor things and wouldn't make me change the scores I have given. We would definitely return in the future."

"Very disappointed with lodge location at the rear just looking at a hedge and wooden fence ,the front looks at another lodge and a main road through a pine wood.The town of Shrewsbury is lovely with great shops and tourist attractions ,This site is just. Not for us too many restrictions and extra payments for what we think should be included in the lodge price,"

"We stayed at Chestnut Lodge and really enjoyed it. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. The bed was a bit firm, but surprisingly comfy enough to get a good sleep. The hot tub was a bit old-fashioned, but worked fine and we could set the temperature just right!"

"We had a lovely stay at the lodge. The team really made us feel welcome, especially with the thoughtful touch of tea, coffee and biscuits upon arrival. The Prosecco gift was a lovely surprise for our special day. Wed definitely return soon!"

"We honestly think this was one of our best Hoseseasons holidays! The cabin was spotless, modern and had everything we needed. The location was perfect-peaceful, scenic and really charming. We loved how quiet it was around the area, making it ideal for relaxing. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a break away!"

"We stayed at this lodge recently and overall, its a lovely spot with a great layout. The kitchen and dining area are really nice and the big bath in the master bedroom was a highlight. The on-site restaurant was quite good too, especially if you book ahead since it gets busy and honestly, its pretty reasonably priced. That said, we did find some little things a bit disappointing. For a place claiming to be luxury, its odd there are no bath robes and only two large towels for three days of hot tub and shower use - we brought our own just in case. The toilets felt really cheap, the seats were flimsy, which didnt help the luxurious vibe at all. Its a shame because with a bit more attention to detail and some updating, it could be truly fantastic. Still, we enjoyed our stay!"

"We recently stayed at this lodge and honestly, its quite a fancy spot. My partner kept saying it was the best place weve stayed in and weve been to a few. The place itself feels top-notch, even if we did spot a few cobwebs during the final check-nothing too distracting though. The kitchen was well-stocked, which was handy and the lounge was super comfy. The bedroom was spacious and the shower had plenty of power, plus it was warm-no cold surprises there! We loved being able to turn on the shower from bed, such a clever touch. The hot tub was a highlight, nice and warm, though not boiling hot. Perfect for the two of us, but Id say if there were four, it might be a squeeze outside with the two separate balconies. One thing to note: the hot tub area looks out onto the garage, which is used by staff for charging golf buggies and storing bikes. We didnt see anyone, but its worth being aware if youre planning a quiet soak. We decided to leave the car out on the drive since the garage wasnt ideal weather-wise, but honestly, it didnt spoil the stay. Would recommend for sure!"

"After a hectic few weeks before we arrived, this was a lovely caravan to stay in and just relax for the first couple of days. After that, there were plenty of places to visit around the area."

"Great spot for checking out Shropshire and Iron Bridge. The staff were super friendly. Our caravan was in really good condition. It felt a bit basic on the entertainment side or maybe we just didnt dig into everything during our 4 day stay, but it is described as "quiet". Not really suitable for those with more adventurous kids."

"Just spent a fantastic week in a chestnut lodge . Everything was amazing. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Everything is provided in the lodge even down to dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid. The hot tub was fabulous. My partner enjoyed fishing every day, the lake is just in front of the lodge so I could watch from the hot tub . Cleanliness of the lodge and the site is outstanding. We appreciated the complimentary bottle of prosseco which awaited us on arrival . We will definitely be returning very soon. 100% recommended. Oh and the fresh eggs we bought from reception were beautiful ?. Pool and steam room were great ? ."

"Had a courtesy call from Beaconsfield holiday park a few days before our stay just to inform us about a few things about our stay. We arrived a bit early before our check in time, but this was not a problem. I was nicely greeted at reception and given a information booklet, which was very helpful. Once settled in the lodge the owner popped around to give us a demonstration of how to use hot tub. We took our dog with us and there was a dog exercise area for him which is thoughtful. We enjoyed the use of the on site swimming pool and steam room, for a small cost of £3 pp though. The on site restaurant was value for money, and great friendly service and ambience. We will definitely be returning to Beaconsfield holiday park, and recommending to others."

"We stayed in Haughmond 3 Lodge and it was perfect. The lodge had everything you could possibly need including a nespresso machine and even a complimentary bottle of prosecco. The lodge was spotless but you do have to make sure you leave it the same way as I'm unsure if you would have your £75 deposit returned. The lodge had x2 tvs but the main tv in lounge had only 15 channels whereas the TV in bedroom had full freeview. Sofas and chairs are reclining so very comfy and beds are alo king size and very comfy. The pillows are very soft though so consider your own pillows if you require firm. The hot tub was maintained everyday and was lovely to use. The only downside was constant train noise from tracks nearby so train horn is very loud."
