We did find it a bit pricey for just two people, but since its a lodge meant for five, it makes sense. The bathroom heater was out at first, but they sorted it quickly - good service! "Lovely place to stay accommodation was clean very well kitted out with necessities to make for a comfortable stay. Host were amazing nothing was too much trouble. A larger area for kids to run around somewhere within the site would have been an added bonus. Scenery was lovely felt in the heart of the countryside. Hot tub area was private and not overlooked used the games room multiple times kids loved it and all very good value for money. Private pool was well worth a visit clean warm and plenty of toys for kids. would love to return for another stay."

"Lovely setting, the lodge was clean and everything you could need was there . It’s peaceful and full of wonderful wildlife all around. A bit too hilly for walking for me and roads around don’t have paths always. The villages near are really friendly and most shops and pubs are dog friendly."
