Letham Feus Park Reviews

"We arrived to a spotless, pristine place, which was lovely. However, the photos and description on Hoseasons didnt quite match up - theres no en-suite shower, just a WC, which was a bit disappointing. The hottub was well kept and offered stunning views, though we did find the cutlery lacking and really wished for a bigger sofa. Despite these small things, we really enjoyed it and have already booked again!"
Rachel - Dec 2024
"We had a lovely stay! The lodge was really comfy and its great that pets are welcome. The woodland walk behind the site was perfect for a chilly morning stroll."
Harper - Nov 2024
"Honestly, we were quite disappointed. The bedroom blind kept slipping and fell multiple times, scratching the wall in the process. Its frustrating dealing with a faulty product, especially when it keeps causing damage. Not what we expected at all."
Emma - Nov 2024
"We had a lovely, relaxing stay, but the place did lack some crockery which was a bit annoying. There were a few stains on the sofa, which wasnt ideal. Also, we werent told anyone would be checking the hot tub daily - when the staff appeared suddenly on the decking, it was quite a surprise. A note in the info folder wouldve helped!"
Emma Carter - Oct 2024
"Our Letham Feus Park review: Absolutely loved it! Were already booked in for next year."
Emma - Sep 2024
"Very friendly staff and lovely, pristine environment!"
Emma - Jun 2024
"Great fit, super comfy, will return for sure!"
Emily Carter - Jun 2024
"We had a pretty good stay overall, but a few small things did bug us a bit. The park itself is lovely, with some really stunning views. We stayed in the Otter Lodge at the Retreat, which was nicely decorated and we loved the log burner - made it feel cosy. The hot tub was drained for changeover when we arrived, so the water was only lukewarm that night, which we expected. But then, bizarrely, it was drained and refilled the next morning, making it unusable for the rest of the day and night since the water was freezing cold. That was a bit of a letdown, especially since we only had four nights and the best weather was on that day. Also, having just two towels for four days was tricky and no mop was provided, so the floors did get quite dirty. Still, it was a nice break, just some minor annoyances."
Jamie - Mar 2024
"We stayed at the lodge recently and honestly, everything was top-notch. Despite being pet-friendly, it didnt feel like it at all - super clean and the smell when we walked in was lovely. The bedding and towels were really good quality and the dressing gown was a nice touch for the hot tub. Well be back!"
Emma - Feb 2024
"We had a lovely stay at this lodge, nestled in such a peaceful spot. The staff do a great job keeping everything in tip-top condition daily. Were definitely planning to come back! Just a couple of small suggestions - a mop and bucket would help for the floors and more cutlery and plates would be handy since the sinks a bit small for washing up. It would also be great if there was an on-site bar or restaurant to mingle with other residents. Overall, a really friendly place!"
Lucy Carter - Jan 2024
"We booked Largo Law last minute for a quick four-night escape and honestly, it was fantastic! The place was super clean and felt really cosy, even with the chilly -4 outside. Both bedrooms were roomy and had dressing areas, which was a nice touch and the showers in both bathrooms were really powerful-perfect after a day out. The views over the Forth towards Edinburgh were stunning, especially when relaxing in the hot tub. Its on a peaceful park with easy access to St Andrews and Fife, making sightseeing a breeze. The only tiny thing was the pillows could have been a bit fuller. We had a great time and definitely plan to return!"
Emily - Jan 2024
"Really appreciated how tidy and well-equipped everything was, perfect for a quick getaway trip."
Emma - Nov 2023
"So, despite the mix-up with Hoeseasons insisting we were staying at "Bonny View" when we actually booked "Fourth View," the lodge itself was really lovely. It was spotless, with super comfy beds and walk-in wardrobes in both rooms, which was a nice touch. The room with two single beds was a decent size, plenty of space for us to relax. The bathroom (not the ensuite) was quite spacious too, though the shower didnt drain as quickly as it should have - it tended to fill up and leak a bit into the bathroom. We managed to fix it easily by removing the top of the trap, so no big deal there. We did have a weird smell in the living area when the windows were shut, but once we reported it, someone came to check the pipes and it was sorted. So, good service there. One thing to note, though - Hoeseasons advertised WiFi, but there isnt any, so make sure you have enough data if you need internet. Also, check-in was a bit confusing: they say after 5pm, but actually its after 4pm since reception closes at 5. Luckily, we arrived 10 mins early and got in smoothly. Check-out time is also later than advertised; its actually by 10am, not 9. The pub on-site was never open, which was a bit disappointing and the dryers cost £2.50 for 90 mins. The shop on site isnt very well stocked and most leaflets in the laundry room are from years ago, so best to check prices beforeh and. All in all, a decent place, just a few small hiccups!"
Jessie - Nov 2023
"We had such a lovely weekend stay here! Everything was just right for us and we really enjoyed our time. The underfloor heating was a hit with our dogs - they loved the garden and had so much fun. Luna came home with a strained tail from all the wagging, but it just shows how much fun they had! Well definitely be coming back."
James - May 2025
"The cottage was really charming and in a lovely spot, perfect for escaping the busy city. The hot tub was a real treat and the owners were so friendly but not intrusive. They've got the balance just right!"
Oliver - May 2025
"We had a fantastic stay at this cosy cottage! The place was really well looked after and had everything we needed. Loved the easy access to walking routes right outside the door, perfect for the dogs. The host was lovely, super quick to reply and made us feel very welcome. Meeting Penelope the pig was a highlight! Definitely coming back, great value for money."
Emily Carter - May 2025
"We stayed at this lovely cottage nestled on a working farm and honestly, its so peaceful and private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are genuinely lovely and welcoming. The place itself is really spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, plus a super comfy bed that made sleeping a dream. The garden is perfect for dogs - secluded, dog-proof and with nice furniture to relax on. There are plenty of walks nearby and Thaxteds restaurants, like The Star and The Maypole, are worth a visit. Wed definitely recommend it!"
James - May 2025
"We had a lovely stay! Sharon and Robert really made us feel at home, which was so nice. The place was spotlessly clean, comfy and perfect for Archie with good security. The location was great, plenty of walks nearby and we loved exploring Thaxted and the surrounding villages - such pretty spots. We definitely left feeling refreshed and relaxed, so all in all, a really enjoyable break. Would happily return!"
Emma Parker - May 2025
"We stayed here for a week in July with our two mini daschund girls and they absolutely loved it! They made loads of new friends in the village of Thaxted, which was lovely to see. The cottage itself is really charming and the hot tub was such a treat-especially during those hot days, as the water was nicely cooled for a refreshing dip. The hosts were genuinely warm and welcoming; it was nice to see them taking their dogs out to the fields daily. Being near Stansteds flight path was interesting, watching the planes land. Overall, wed definitely recommend , its a lovely spot!"
Emma - May 2025
"We had an absolutely lovely stay at this charming cottage. The peaceful spot was perfect for unwinding and the hot tub was a real treat. The place was spotless and well-equipped, with plenty of walks nearby. Would definitely come back!"

Attractions Near Letham Feus Park

Here are some of the activities and experiences you can enjoy on your visit to Letham Feus Park. If you discover a worthy inclusion to this list on your hot tub break, please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too.
Smoo Cave - IV27 4QB
about 18 Miles
Smoo Cave is a popular attraction which can be enjoyed all year round but visitors should wrap up warm during the winter months.  This spectacular limestone sea-cave in Sutherland is the largest in Britain and is simply spectacular. The cave was formed by a burn that runs down into the rear chamber, as well as erosion caused by the sea. Guests can take the path from the car park which runs right through the cave. Boat trips are available in the summer months and are an excellent way to fully appreciate the cave from all angles.
Active Kid Adventure Park - DG7 3ET
about 24 Miles
Active Kid Adventure Park is the place to go if you have energetic children and are looking for a fun day out. The site boasts many attractions including a Zip Line, Target Football, Go Karts, Play Areas, Pony Rides and Crazy Golf. There are also some friendly farm animals to meet including a docile Donkey. Family tickets are just £20.00 and season tickets are also available.
Brechin Castle Centre - DD9 6RL
about 36 Miles

So much more than a garden centre this place is ideal for a fun family day out in Angus. The garden centre stocks a huge range of plants, outdoor furniture and gardening equipment and also has a café serving tasty home made meals, cakes and snacks. The site has a large outdoor play area for children an ornamental pond and country park to explore. Halloween and Bonfire night's events are coming up soon. The annual Fireworks Display is really spectacular.
