Yvonne - Jan 2020
"Great holiday here in November 2019. Came back again in January 2020. No disappointments.
Lovely lodge, immaculate condition.
Very comfortable, warm and cosy even though it was cold outside.
Pauline is lovely, and good for local knowledge and places to visit. Road closures etc. She also comes to check if everything is good and if there are any problems, which we thought was really good of her given the weather.
We can't wait to visit again. Would highly recommend although it pains me to say so as it could be so popular we might be unable to book."
Evelyn - Jan 2020
"Very nice lodge, very personal preference on comfort but personally we found it quite comfy on the whole although bed was a bit too soft! Shower lost a lot of pressure if someone were to run water in Kitchen."
Laura - Nov 2019
"Beautiful lodge. Immaculate and so comfortable. Kitchen was amazing. Enjoyed cooking when it was cold and rainy outside, pots and pans great size. As was the crockery. Lovely, warm and cosy inside. Lodge very spacious for 4 adults. Picturesque surroundings of hills and river. Didn't want to leave as it was so relaxing and peaceful.
Pauline was very helpful, gave us directions to places round about, information on roads closed due to flooding and alternate route. Came to check everything was okay for us, that we were settled in and if there was anything we needed. Also gave us her contact card in case we needed to get in touch for anything."
Evelyn - Nov 2019
"The lodge was gorgeous, spotless and very comfortable"
Joanne - Sep 2019

Keith - Apr 2019
"One of the best breaks"
Ann - Apr 2019
"Loved it!! Perfect for our needs. Will definitely return."
Yvonne - Jan 1970
"The kitchen corner is a little dark as there is only a row of spotlights down the centre of the lodge. We suggested maybe a little light in this corner but it isnt a big deal really and only a minor improvement. We suggested a couple of modifications to the hot tub area - maybe some hooks for hanging dressing downs up and maybe even a shelf or stand for sitting a tablet or little speaker on for watching tv or listening to music. Once again just nit-picking at minor improvements. It was overall a fab weekend and will hopefully be back one day in the future!"
Terry - Jan 1970
"Lodge great, location perfect and Diane at the Park couldn't have been more helpful."

Christopher - Mar 2024
"It was everything we wanted for our weekend away and we loved staying here. We'll definitely be back! Our pups absolutely loved the underfloor heating and had so much fun in the garden. In fact Luna came home with a strained tail and according to the vet it was because she was wagging it so much over the weekend!! Very happy pups and hoomans!"

Attractions Near Riverview Holiday Park

Here are some of the activities and experiences you can enjoy on your visit to Riverview Holiday Park. If you discover a worthy inclusion to this list on your hot tub break, please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too.
Kielder Water Bird of Prey Centre - NE48 1BT
about 11 Miles
Housing the most fascinating collection of Birds of Prey in the North East this centre is definitely worth a visit if you are staying in the Kielder Water area. Located in Falstone it's easy to get to and makes a great day out for both families and couples.  As well as seeing the amazing birds you can learn all about the captive breeding programme and the excellent work being done there.  Some of the highlights of the day might include watching a Falcon stoop down from the skies at over 100mph and admiring the grace of the Eagles, Kites and Hawks.
Tullie House Museum & Art Gallery - CA3 8TP
about 19 Miles
This is a museum and art gallery in one and will suit those looking for an educational and cultural day out.  You can explore the fantastic art collection including Fine Art, Decorative Art and Textiles.  If you love nature then this aspect of Tullie House will appeal. The museum holds large and important collections of zoological, botanical and geological material. And for lovers of history there is plenty to wet your appetite here. Tullie House collects a wide range of historic materials including objects, ephemera (printed material), photographs and associated information files.  We think this museum and art gallery are excellent value for money as well.
Mabie Farm Park - DG2 8EZ
about 33 Miles
Mabie Farm Park is a firm favourite. Ideal for families with younger children ,this family oriented farm park has lots of animals to meet and also offers Donkey Rides, Paddle Boats and Slides as well as Trampolines and Bouncy Castles. Kids can run around on the Soft Play Area while mum and dad relax in the Tea Room. There is also a Farm Shop onsite selling toys, gifts and fresh local produce including cakes and jams. Seasonal activities can also be enjoyed including a spookly tea and walk on Haloween. The Farm closes for the winter on October 31st.
Kailzie Gardens - EH45 9HT
about 34 Miles
Kailzie Gardens are another popular attraction and are an excellent place for a day out in the summertime. The gardens are a peaceful and colourful place to spend the day with a wide variety of flora and fauna on display. Other attractions here include live viewing of the Tweed Valley ospreys, a Gift Shop where children can pick up a souvenir, a Tearoom serving tasty local produce and home cooked meals, a Children's Corner, Putting Green, and a gorgeous private 2½ mile stretch on the River Tweed where visitors can enjoy Fly Fishing and a Picnic Area.
Go Ape Northumberland - NE48 1NT
about 35 Miles
Go Ape! has really taken off and become one of the most popular attractions in the UK.  The Northumberland course is set in the stunning grounds of Matfin Hall.  Described as a high wire forest adventure this really is one for the more daring as the course takes place right up in the tree tops.  Giant tree top obstacle courses include ladders, bridges, tunnels and some of the country's best zip lines.  You will be provided with all safety equipment and training on site.
Lake District Wildlife Park - CA12 4RD
about 36 Miles
We love this day out in Cumbria where you're encouraged to "take a fresh look".  Some of the amazing animals you will get to see include the only Canadian Lynx in the UK and you will have the opportunity to help their Lynx Conservation Project.  The Asian Fishing Cat is also well worth a look - these cats are known for diving under the water and catching fish!  Other activities include fantastic flying displays and play areas for the little ones...
Cragside House and Gardens - NE65 7PX
about 38 Miles
Cragside House and Gardens (National Trust) are a popular Northumberland attraction with a beautiful stately home and gorgeous grounds to explore. The rhododendron labyrinth is a unique and fun addition to the grounds and there is also an adventure playground where children can let of steam. It is the stunning scenery that attracts most of the visitors though with many bringing a picnic for a relaxing family day out. The house itself hosts exhibits which change regularly. World of the Water Wizard is currently on display.
