"We booked this place for a dog walking getaway and it was just what we needed. Lovely quality accommodation, plenty of nearby pubs and eateries and endless fields for off-road walks. The dog loved it - didnt want to leave!"

"We had a lovely stay at this charming cottage. The owners were super friendly and really helpful from start to finish, which made all the difference. The place itself is spotlessly clean, warm and feels cosy with a great kitchen and comfy bed. Parking right beside the cottage was a real bonus. We enjoyed walking through the fields to Thaxted, admiring the half-timbered houses and windmill. Definitely a place wed return to!"

The bath was fantastic and the shower was spacious-just what we needed. The house is situated on a quiet spot, so no worries about the noise from planes or fireworks, which was a relief for our dog. "We stayed here for my sisters birthday and honestly, it was a pretty great experience. The chalet was super clean and had a nice layout, though we did find the second bedroom lacked enough storage space. Also, a few cooking utensils were missing, but Im sure if wed asked at reception, theyd have sorted it quickly. The bar and restaurant were really lovely, with tasty food and drinks at good prices. The whole site was spotless and well maintained. Everyone we met was friendly, especially the staff and the dog-friendly vibe. The hot tub guy was really nice, checking the tub daily. We had a brilliant time and cant wait to come back!"
