Nearby Keston Village has shops and cafés and is just minutes away. If you fancy a drink, the Crown pub is also nearby. One of the best things about this lodge is Hayes station is 2 miles away and you can hop on a quick train to London. If you really want to do something special, helicopter flights are available from Biggin Hill and will get you to the city in 7 minutes!
The main lodge has two bedrooms - a double with en-suite and a twin. There's also a separate barn annexe with a king-size bed and kitchenette. All on one level with underfloor heating throughout. The enclosed pet-friendly garden is partially walled - perfect for your four-legged pal to roam safely.
Nearby attractions include Christmas Tree Animal Farm (1.6 miles), Charles Darwin House (1.8 miles) and Chartwell (8 miles). History buffs will love Hever Castle just 14 miles away. The annual airshow in June is also really good.

Lovely secluded lodge, lots of walking opportunities on Keston common. Nice to come back to the hot tub and relax. Lots to see and do. Nice NT properties around the area. I would recommend Hever Castle, Chartwell, Knole Park and Redhill Sculpture Park as places well worth a visit. I would recommend the Crown pub for meals and very friendly

Fabulous! 5! A dear friend of ours, whom I hold in high esteem, recommended Dreamwood Lodge to me and rightly so. It was a find. Like him and his family we like to stay in quality country cottages, and it fits the bill. Perfectly! From its location, to its inception, layout, design and quality of build, it is the most luxurious we've ever stayed in. We instantly fell in love with it. The Lodge was spotlessly clean, beautifully warm and well equipped with every modern appliance and accessory the hot tub is a joy and hot 247 for that midnight glass if bubbly with friends and family .The area is steeped in history from RomanoBritish times, there's a riding school nearby and the local amenities The King's Arms and Heathfield Caf, for example exceptional. In short, Dreamwood Lodge is a holiday cottage for all seasons and we'll soon be back.
Absolutely beautiful place to get away from it all, we had a wonderful family weekend, weather was awful but that didnt stop us having walks to the commonjust 10 min away , visiting a lovely cafe called Heathfields, we had an afternoon at Biggin Hill museum and dinner at the Kings Arms at Keston, the cottage and annexe were very clean and had everything you need for a lovely break. Hot tub was super hot and very relaxing. Jen was an amazing host staying very connected if needed. Will definitely be back again.
The cottage was great for our stay and was very warm when we arrived on a cold night, We had everything we needed the host was in contact with us to make sure our stay was comfortable.
We had a wonderful time at the Dreamwood Lodge! It was even beautifully decorated for Christmas. I would recommend that if anyone is renting a vehicle for the trip that they get a small size car to make parking easier.

Dreamwood Lodge was the perfect retreat for our holiday. It's a quiet location but not too far off the beaten track. The accommodation is a beautiful contemporary country lodge, perfect for multigeneration holidays or weekend breaks with friends. It's clear the owners have given a lot of thought to the needs of their guests and as such, it makes for a very relaxing, pleasant and luxurious stay. The accommodation is spacious, incredibly well appointed and spotless. The owner provides clear communication and was so helpful and accommodating when we had an issue with our car. I would certainly recommend and will rebook soon.
Loved our stay. It was the perfect setup for two couples and an elderly relative. Plus an enclosed garden for our dog. Lots of space, super warm, well equipped, comfy beds, fab hot tub and walks on the doorstep. The owner was super friendly and helpful when there were a couple of issues to sort.

Beautiful accommodation in peaceful area but in easy reach of amenities and major transport routes. Very friendly hosts and great communicators. This was our second stay and hopefully not our last.
We had the most perfect stay at Dreamwood Lodge. The accommodation is superb and of a very high standard. Trust me when I say this, all you need to do is turn up with your luggage. Everything else is catered for even down to a pint of milk in the fridge on arrival. The kitchen is just stunning, with a dishwasher, washerdryer, oven, fridge and freezer. Its the best nights sleep I have ever had when staying away from home, the double bed is just so comfortable. Yes there are issues with water pressure but that does not detract from the stay. Finally, the hot tub, just wonderful and towels are even provided for this too. The host is very communicative and if you need anything or something has happened, for example a local power issue, she is there to help. The annex is just like a self contained apartment, an excellently appointed room with a king size bed which my son had when he came for a few days. Would I stay here again, yes in a heartbeat. 1010 for me

We stayed at Dreamwood Lodge for a week in August 2025. Jen the host was brilliant! The website pictures were absolutely accurate. Both lodges were clean and spacious. The smaller lodge was perfect for 2 persons, and the larger lodge can comfortably acccommodate 4 persons. As for the hot tub it was something else. It's fully heated all daynight, and so you can take a dip whenever you fancy it was more like a full spa experience, because the jets could be set to full power! The location is so peaceful, however, a 5 minute walk takes you to the bus stop that takes you to local train stations that take you into London I actually travelled to the property by public transport from London. I would fully recommend Dreamwood.
A lovely repurposed property with a secluded garden and a pleasant view, but only a couple of hundred metres from the bus stop at least 6 buses an hour to Bromley for fast trains to London and easy to reach from the M25. It's very well equipped and reasonably accessible for people with mobility issues the entrance from the lane outside is a bit awkward and you need to watch out for cyclists. There's a little bit of light aircraft noise from Biggin Hill. The owner was very responsive and friendly when the water company caused us problems. All in all an excellent stay, and we'd certainly stay there again.

Thorpe Park sits between Chertsey and Staines-upon-Thames in Surrey, on the site of old flooded gravel pits that give it a watery setting. It opened in 1979 and is run by Merlin Entertainments. Today it's a full day of rides, with a strong line-up of roller coasters.

Brands Hatch is a motor racing circuit at West Kingsdown in Kent. It began as a grassy hollow used by cyclists and motorcyclists in the 1920s and 1930s, and became a tarmac car and motorbike circuit in 1950. It later hosted 12 runnings of the British Grand Prix between 1964 and 1986.

London Zoo is the world's oldest scientific zoo, on the northern edge of Regent's Park, with the Regent's Canal running through it. It is run by ZSL, a conservation charity, and its animals range from tiny leafcutter ants to a giant silverback gorilla.
Tip: Check the daily animal talks when you arrive and plan your route around the ones you want to catch.

Step inside Winston Churchill's family home and wander the hillside gardens with views over the Weald of Kent.
Chartwell, near Westerham, was Sir Winston Churchill's home for over forty years. He bought it in 1922, and it is now run by the National Trust. Inside the house you can see where he lived and worked, and the garden looks out across the Weald of Kent, a view he said helped persuade him to buy the place.
Tip: Entry to the house is by timed ticket and can sell out at busy times, so arrive early or check the National Trust website for how to pre-book a slot.

The Tower of London is a historic castle and World Heritage Site on the north bank of the River Thames. William the Conqueror built the White Tower in the 1070s, and over the centuries the Tower has served as a royal palace, an armoury, a treasury and a prison. Today it is cared for by the charity Historic Royal Palaces.
Tip: The Tower is quieter in the afternoons, after midday. Check the website for temporary route closures before you visit.

Red House in Bexleyheath, south-east London, is the only house designed, built and lived in by William Morris, a pioneer of the Arts and Crafts movement. Morris and the architect Philip Webb designed it, and it was completed in 1860. It became a haven for Pre-Raphaelite artists, including Edward Burne-Jones.
Tip: Visits to the house are by pre-booked guided tour only, so book your ticket ahead. The nearest parking is Danson Park, about a mile away.

Westminster Abbey is the Gothic church in central London where English and British monarchs have been crowned since 1066. Royal weddings have been held here too, and it is the burial place of monarchs, prime ministers, poets, scientists and the Unknown Warrior. It is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, along with the Palace of Westminster and St Margaret's Church.
Tip: Book in advance, as it gets busy. There's no car parking at the Abbey, and Westminster underground station is about a four-minute walk. Bags over 55cm x 40cm x 20cm aren't allowed in.
