Foxhunter Park Reviews

"The main bedroom in our caravan was surprisingly quite dark during the day, which was a bit disappointing. Plus, the internet was awful and kept dropping out, frustrating really."
Harper - Apr 2025
"Small caravan, Very tight in the bathroom area and main bedroom.Kitchen and living area was ideal. Was there for 7 nights, it suited us for that length of time."
Mark - Apr 2025
"Thought we getting 5 star park and got a 1 star parkHave not got a good word to say about anything , caravan was small, no central heating, light fitting was dangerous, lounge bench seat was broken . reported everything to reception but nothing was done."
Richard - Apr 2025
"We stayed four nights at Foxhunter Park - such a lovely, peaceful spot. The grounds are beautifully maintained. Perfect for exploring Whitstable, Canterbury and Herne Bay."
Lisa - Apr 2025
"Our Foxhunter Park review: We had a fantastic stay at this cosy cottage! The place was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, plus loads of lovely walks just outside the door for the dogs. The host was super friendly and quick to reply to any questions. Meeting Penelope the pig was a real highlight. Well definitely return, great value for money!"
Ellie - Nov 2024
"If you're after some peace and quiet, this place works well. Parking's a bit of a squeeze and there's not much to do around."
Emma - Nov 2024
"All caravans are in need of a complete refit curtains must be 30 years old etc."
Verified Guest - Sep 2024
"Loved strolling through the fields with the dogs, really enjoyed the peaceful vibe here. Lovely place!"
Jessie - Aug 2024
"Overall, we had a nice stay. The caravan was spotless, which was great, but we did find the lack of larger pans a bit inconvenient for cooking. Also, not enough plates, glasses, or cups for two weeks. No clean sheets was a bit disappointing, but the park itself was lovely and we enjoyed our holiday. Its a decent place, just a few small things could be improved!"
Clara - Jun 2024
"Absolutely loved our time at Goddards Mead! The cottage was perfect in every aspect. We can't wait to return!"
Martin - Feb 2024
"We had such a lovely stay at this good place! The location was really peaceful and private, perfect for relaxing. The owners were super friendly and always on hand if we needed anything, but it still felt secluded. The hot tub was a real treat after a long cycle day! Only thing to note is that the cottage is right under Stansted's flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much once we got used to it, but if you're sensitive to sound, its worth mentioning. Overall, a great spot!"
Raj - Dec 2023
"Comfortable stay overall, just found the bed a bit too soft for me though."
James - Nov 2023
"We loved the caravan! It was really spacious, super clean and well-equipped with crockery and cutlery. The beds were comfy and the linen was spotless. Great stay!"
Imogen - Nov 2023
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay; the caravan was lovely and the surroundings very welcoming."
Jessica - Nov 2023
"We stayed in a lovely caravan with five friends and honestly, the space and quality were spot on. Definitely coming back soon!"
Alexandra - Sep 2023
"We loved staying here! The cottages peaceful setting was perfect, far from busy areas. The hot tub was a real treat and the owners were super helpful without being intrusive."
Oliver - May 2023
"Really enjoyed this place, we'll return soon!"
Emily - Aug 2020
"Really looking forward to visiting again soon!"
Alex - Aug 2020
"We had a lovely time at the park and our lodge was really nice - definitely something special. The staff we met were super helpful and friendly, which made everything easier. The park itself was spotless and well-maintained, so kudos to the cleaning team. The only downside was the price, which felt a bit steep, especially since nothing was open outside of Peak week. The lodge could have been a bit cleaner, especially the carpets, but overall, wed recommend it. Might come back in the summer though!"
Olivia - Nov 2019
"Had a lovely experience, definitely recommend to everyone, hoping to return soon enough!"
David - Sep 2019
"Great vibe, friendly staff, definitely returning soon!"
Michael - Jul 2019
"We had a fantastic week at the Westgate lodge, loved it!"
Rachel - Jun 2019
"We really enjoyed our trip. The van was great and with the bad weather, Netflix and Amazon were lifesavers! The veranda was handy for the dogs, even if shaded by a big tree and covered in leaves sometimes. Lovely park overall."
Julia - Jun 2019
"We stayed at the Quex caravan and honestly, it was just what we needed. The place was really warm and cosy, even with the unpredictable spring weather. The bathroom was spot on, especially the shower which had great pressure since the boilers right outside. Be aware of the calcium deposits in the water because of the chalk landscape, so a water filter might be handy. They provided toiletries, loo-roll, bath-mat and bedding, but dont forget your towels. Perfect spot for exploring the area!"
Jess - May 2019
"Really enjoyed the stay, lovely place and staff!"
Jamie - Apr 2019
"Overall, pretty good! Just a couple of bulbs gone inside and outside, but everything else was great."
Sammy - Sep 2018
"Honestly, we didnt find much info about the caravan online-just a couple of photos inside-so we werent sure what to expect. When we arrived, though, we were genuinely blown away! The place was huge and the decking was fantastic, especially since the weather was perfect all week. The rooms were really spacious and the beds were super comfy-definitely a plus after long days exploring. Our own en-suite was handy and the kids had their own shower and toilet at the other end, which worked well. The resort itself was lovely-spotlessly clean, peaceful and very picturesque. Everyone we met was really friendly. Le club might be small, but its charming and decorated nicely. The staff made us feel at home, always up for a bit of banter. Plus, the cocktails and food were really good and the pool and bar by the pool were perfect for relaxing!"
Harriet - Jul 2018
"Really enjoyed my stay there overall."
Jason - Jun 2018
"Great overall, but having a car makes exploring easier."
Sarah - Oct 2017
"Really enjoyed our visit, the park was lovely and we'll definitely return if we're nearby again."
Laura - Sep 2017
"Lovely place peaceful"
Laura - Aug 2022
"A small shop on site would be much appreciated, as Monkton does not have one and you have to go to Minster. Our lodge was spotlessly clean on our arrival and we would like to congratulate the cleaning staff. Thanks."
Reta - Jul 2022
"Great place great location staff berry helpful and friendly caravan very clean and exactly what we needed"
