We didn't stay in the lodge we booked due to a leak. We were upgraded to a new lodge which was wonderful.

The lodge is beautiful - thick cream carpets, smart white leather sofas and a high quality kitchen. The main open plan area combines living space, dining room and kitchen. It really is stunning. There are two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a walk in wardrobe and on-suite with a relatively large shower. The second bedroom has two single beds. There is a second bathroom with a bath and shower. We spent most of our time of the decking area; the sunsets are amazing.

If I was being really picky, there are some things which could be improved:

1) The cleaning wasn't the best. We found a lot of cobwebs (sometimes with large spiders) around the coving. Everything else was spotless.

2) The technology is a little dated. The TVs don't allow you to mirror content from your phones. There is a integrated sound system built into the lodge which must have cost a fortune back in the day. However, we couldn't get the tv sound to play through the system and the only other source input requires and iPod (which I doubt many people still use)

3) The door which hides the DVD player and cables was held up by gaffer tape, which is a little out of step with the overall high quality finish.

4) There is no BBQ. We had lovely weather and would have like to have a lot of BBQs. We only had one as we had to resort to disposables.

5) The free Wi-Fi is painfully slow so don't expect to be streaming Netflix shows. You can pay for a "faster" connection; we didn't, but I still think you may struggle to stream HD content. The mobile phone reception was variable between our different providers.

But don't let these minor quibbles put you off. We loved this lodge and would definitely stay again. We all wish we were back there!

A fantastic lodge. Clean, well equipped and far better than we imagined it would be

The lodge was spacious and in an excellent location. The only negative was the decor was a little tired and there was no teapot.

Although the lodge was very clean the carpets could do with a clean. Found it strange that there were no tea towels in the kitchen so had to buy some.

Accommodation was great, although on occasions it was very hot.
We had all the necessities and found the accommodation comfortable.

Brilliant lodge, quite a bit of pet hair about but everything else was spotless and fully equipped, shame the alley next to us was used as a toilet by inconsiderate pet owners but other than that the site was clean, calm and the staff were excellent.

lovely park, but at the time we visited Edgeley, it was very quiet at the park. there were a lot of people who seemed te live here in their own logde. it is a very dog friendly park, a lot of visitors bring their pets but at no time it bodered us. the pool was small and could use a cleanup (lots of green stuf on the edges. The staff was very helpfull, our lodge was very clean and equiped with anything you can think of. The beds were a bit small.
This park is very good location to stay and make daytrips to for example London, Guildford and Brighton.
We had an exelent holliday at Edgeley and would recomend this park for anyone who wants a place to stay and make daytrips from there.

Fantastic, comfortable lodge, with everything you need...very thoughtfully furnished.
Only downside was on the hottest day of the year ...34C... we were forced inside, with windows closed, because of smoke from a neighbouring BBQ! Grrrrr. Why you'd allow BBQs on wooden decks is beyond me!

Was very disappointed as we had to pay £50 to upgrade as there wasnt enough room for our children. We specifically told them that we had 2 infants and one child and 2 adults. However there werent any room for us all there. Very disapointed!

The Country Lodge Four Platinum that we stayed in was next to the Green, so it was pleasant having open space in front of us. The lodge was nicely finished and warm and clean and the kitchen had lots of equipment (but not so much space to store food!). Clean white towels were provided so no need to bring any. There was a washing machine (and drying rack) and dishwasher (although we didn't use this as there wasn't enough crockery for more than one meal). I wouldn't recommend the lodge or park for very young children. The coffee table had a glass top to it that our youngest banged his head on, and the blinds all had loops hanging down which are a hazard (there were no anti-strangle devices fitted). The swimming pool was also too deep for children that aren't competent swimmers, but probably therefore better for adults (there were some adult only morning sessions). The WIFI was adequate for our needs and there was the option to pay for a higher speed. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We were really impressed with the lodge we stayed in. It was spotlessly clean and well maintained, and equipped to a high standard (wine fridge, en suite). Our only complaint is that we could feel the springs in the mattress, which would benefit from a foam topper. The deck and outdoor furniture were a great addition.

The cottage was beautiful, extremely clean and homely. Everything (apart from food) was provided and we couldn't have wanted for anything in terms of equipment. The wifi is a little slow and we couldn't get one of our laptops to connect but the cottage came with sky and a HDMI cable which was great. I would say basic things such as teabags & washing up liquid could have been provided, which would have increased the cottage's value for money.

Date of stay: 27th August 2018
Edgeley Park is in a good Location near to theme parks etc, Very helpful and friendly staff A1. I booked as a last minute discounted break so it was not bad value, pool was clean and all weather tennis court was in good condition. The small food bar/cafe served good quality food that was very reasonably priced. I will use again. Although we did not take a pet, I did notice that the cat flap in the door was only big enough for a small cat, nothing else.

The park was very well kept and the staff was more than helpful when we had questions. The location in comparison to nearby cities and attractions is perfect; within one hour you are pretty much everywhere. We really enjoyed our stay and will recommend the park to others.
